Different mics or modified sound on post-prod, you can clearly hear that from background noice (stock / modded) If you are already making a comparison, then you should not process the sound after =)
Hello! Someone else actually brought this up previously in another chain of comments below. The audio was not pitched down, but it was definitely my fault for not recording in the same environment (my aircon fans were on very different settings in both videos). That user also kindly given me some additional suggestions so I won't be making the same mistake for the subsequent videos, I do seek you guy's understanding as this is my first time posting a comparison video. Thank you for your comment as well, will take note!
Amazing video, man! I simply loved those mods you made right there! Perfect! I'm really tempted to buy a Keychron Q1 Pro as my first keyboard for modding and was hoping to make it as thocky as possible, so I just loved your video. Just a quick question, are the Cream Yellow V3 linear switches? Can you recommend a tactile switch that can be as thocky as the ones you used? I really love tactile switches, but there are so many options out there that it's kind of confusing when you begin to search. If there's none, I think I will have to go with the ones you used just for the sound hahahha
can you answer peoples questions in the comments? i want to replicate this build. what switch pads do you use? what stabiliser tape? what case foam? can u be more specific?
The fitting problem is regarding the plate: in some cheap boards, the plate will snugly fit around Durock v2 stabs, so you'll have to push a little bit in order for for the plate to get in place.

the cream blue pro v3 from Akko could be a good option, im looking to get this keybord and replace the red switches with the new cream yellows myself!
Do you think the switch pads make a significant difference? Also, you took out the stock plate foam?
Beautiful! Found you on Carousel ;)
You need to make a modding tutorial! Your keyboards sound so thocky🙀
Can I ask what camera and microphone was used in recording this

best thing ive heard
thock
Wow! Sounds delicious! Which mod made the biggest difference?
sounds like a lot of tape.
Definitely lubing the switches! Tempest also did wonders :)
Its always tape mod that makes the most drastic difference in sound
Usually it's PE foam so the switch pads here that creates that marbly sound
wow this is amazing, read the description and i’m curious what the pcb switch pads are? are they poron?
search up kbd switch pads
Yep it's poron!
Did you have trouble fitting the Durock v2's in? i've read some issues that they do not fit or you need to force them a bit.
also confused about this. Any updates?

Did you use keychrones foam upgrade kit? Or did you source your own?
My own! It's just normal eva foam though, which is denser than keychron's stock foam
how thick?@@lencustoms
@@lencustoms where did you get this foam and how thick was it? I plan to replicate this mod it sounds exactly how I want it
I thought the keyboard already had case foam installed. I guess there wasn’t enough?
Oh, i swapped it out cuz the stock one was pretty thin.
Can you do a video breaking down how you did it step by step please?
I second
which stock switches were those?
What do you mean by L+T+HM ??
Lubed, Tuned, and Holee Modded
stock is clean, no need to foam switch
how did you get the rgb key effect?
I'm not sure, this was the stock effect 🤔
what keycaps are they??
also can you link the case foam you used
how many layers of tape?
2!
wow
Sounds clean clack on stock, sounds marbly clack on modded! Great one again
What keycaps are these?
Hey, these are stock keycaps that came the board. Not sure what they're called 😅
Your hands are so small, it so cute watching you type.
