It’s so annoying that they’re still on Jayce viktor is clearly made to be in the wrong and a true threat to humanity we saw what Jayce saw which was a world taken over by Viktor/hexcore corruption
Something else to keep in mind about post fusion Viktor is that he has never really be 100% himself or in control. The part of the Arcane that he touched was filtering it's design through the remnants of Viktor that were there. It was very much a symbiotic relationship, it kept him alive and the hopeful, moral bits of Viktor kept it in check. It focused on helping the afflicted of the Undercity who willingly submitted to his help but in that submission their individuality is annihilated. After Jayce blasted Vik, the pure hex/arcane in him was unleashed, very much the same way post blast Warwick removed the remnants of Vander. The Viktor we have in this episode has very little of the humanity left, and the Arcane is making decisions to its benefit. I think that is why the remnant of Skye, that was really just another manifestation of Viktor's humanity (and guilt) looks so worried about him whenever we saw it in this episode. When he finally decided, or is compelled to, give in to the final glorious evolution, the humanity is gone. As is beautifully symbolized by his final transformation where the human part of his physical form, his face, splits and peels away revealing just the pure being of apex hextech and apex shimmer that Singed mentioned back in Act2 Ep6. The human part of Viktor reject Singed then, but with the vestiges of Vik's humanity no longer curbing the impulses of the Arcane, he embraced that empowerment. Damn this show is dope. Great reaction and impressive edit and upload pace for something that isn't even 12hrs old yet.
It was never controlling him. The issue is that Noxus' and Jayce's action made him lose faith in humanity so he responded by saying Humanity isn't worth it.
@@hadrianhexe9603 That's fine if that is what you took away from it, but what they show us from the moment he woke from that cocoon he was no longer the same person. His scene and dialogue with Singed in Act2,Ep6 about "Final Glorious Evolution" show the influence of the arcane taint on him. The remnants of his humanity was able to resist that temptation from Singed to use the Apex shimmer to accelerate that evolutionary goal but as he weakened from converting people his humanity would have given way to the arcane's influence. Viktor from before his fusion with the core, when he told Jayce to destroy the core, was what he would have done if he was himself and capable of doing it. The reason he pleads with Jayce to do it in ssn1 is because even before the core is a part of him, it won't let him harm it. You think after his fusion with, he is less influenced? That to me is overly hopeful. ACT 3 SPOILER! As I said I think remnants of his humanity is what kept him from becoming what we see in act 3. Jayce and Noxus' actions did not help but, at some point his goal of evolving everyone would have ended in some form of the world Jayce saw in Act3, Ep7. Act 3 overall pretty much spells it out.
Victor saw that humanity can’t evolve because of the fact that everyone is different and unconnected and with the wild rune he could connected everyone with it and after he couldn’t talk to Jayce he realized his emotions will hold him back so he tells singed to take them away so he will have nothing left to stop the glorious evolution

Corin Revek is the name of the father of a League Champion called Orianna, who is definitely the girl in the pod. The reveal in Arcane is that Singed and Revek are the same person, and that Orianna is Singed's daughter.
24:14 it's not just the one we met in last episode. We saw jinx with isha, we saw her wanting to leave the fighting behind and just take care of this little child. She doesn't and can't believe of it herself, but she is capable of so much good and love.
Nah that was Vi's first time. Vi's vice was drinking and fighting, Cait was the one doing the hankypanky. I think they just saw a chance at happiness and took it.
Victor's the bad guy if you haven't realized it, he said that Jace was right during his two sides of the same coin epilogue, that humanity cant evolve past a certain point because what drives us to be our best is the same thing that drives us to be our worst, human emotion, what allows us to love or feel compassion and results in doing our best is the same thing hate and anger come from and results in doing our worst... This is why Jace concludes humanity cant just be given magic and creating the anomaly was a mistake, but Victor instead of accepting that you don't get humanity at their best without also getting their worst, he decides in order for humanity to evolve he has to rid it of human emotion, which he does through taking away their individualsm and uploading everyone into his hive mind, losing their ability to choose but can all be given the anomaly and cured of death, which results in their magically armored souless puppet final form... anyway, they did a good job misleading us into believing Jace was in the wrong and we'd be on Victor's side as they pitted the two against each other, but turns out Jace was right and Victor's the one whos gotta go...
no i have been the biggest caitvi fan since s1 but for them to do it in JINX'S CELL while jinx went to off herself felt very ooc for vi and just weirdly placed overall idk how to feel...
The reason why Jinx ran away from Vi is because she said it herself. "Everyone who gets close to me dies". After seeing the exact same thing over and over again, the last straw was Isha, Jinx didn't want to see Vi die also. So she ran away
What I find interesting is that Jayce ultimately created the evil Viktor became, on the road to stop that evil. It was only after Viktor's "death" that he finally "understood." Thus leading him to becoming the end. The Viktor we met who was willing to sacrifice himself for Vander was taken in that moment only because of Jayce. A weird paradox... would Viktor have eventually become evil even without Jayce "killing" him there? Is the very essence of Viktor meeting death the catalysts of him becoming evil? Because if that is the case, then yes that was inevitable, seeing as he was already dying with every use. The quote that passed through my mind this episode was, "One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it."
6:35 They still dont know what's going on😂 Y'all Vik was doing some sketch stuff...scary actually. Did you not see what they were doing to Vander?😭 And Viktor literally joined Ambessa's side

So Mel have powers because in the Ambessa league of legends trailer Kindred give Ambessa powers called "Chozen of the wolf" and in this trailer Ambessa have pregnant by Mel
The actions jayce took to avoid what he saw actually helped bring it about. If he hadn't attempted to kill Viktor, Viktor wouldn't have entered the final phase of his evolution. Vander would have been cured and his blood wouldn't be used to keep Viktor alive or as a weapon for Ambessa. Actually reminded me of a line in Kung Fu Panda. "One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it." 😂
I don’t understand Ambessa, like she’s so hellbent on snatching power that she’s literally giving away her power. At no point is she in control of Viktor’s disciples, they could turn on her in an instant and she would have no recourse. It just feels so out of character that she wouldn’t have her own backup to keep Viktor aligned with her goals.
Who says she didn’t have one? Maybe using the anti-magic runes on a larger scale or something special Singed made for her? We don't know because she didn’t need it. When he turned on the Noxians she was already dead and it was so fast that they couldn't react.
I personally wouldn't trust ANYTHING the mage said to Mel, you know, considering the mage is LeBlanc and she has been manipulating event for the past 1000 years at least....

It doesn't just automatically make him forgiven for the loss of both Vander and Isha. He just walked into someone's house and started blasting. It's ok to still be a little upset with him
WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S A FEAR MONGERING HAVE WE NOT JUST SEEN THE LITTERAL APOCALYPTIC WORLD IN THE PREVIOUS EPISODE
How the hell did you guys not get that viktor is the bad guy here
DANG! Cinepals editors on a freaking roll. Thanks for the content!
Them hating jace is so funny 😂😂😂
Yeah I'm kinda confused about that too 😂
Yeah like ,this dude spent months alone in the world that was dead and they are suprised that he acts this way? Also he is totally right in everything that he is doing right now ,Viktor is a danger to all of Runeterra
@@toamszkozak8822I don’t think it’s that serious
@@tales3363 he wants to end all suffering all conflict by assimilating everyone into hive mind where noone has free will. That is his glorious evolution.
@@tales3363 i mean if you react and review shows for a living you atleast gotta understand the point it's trynna convey
Wow, Arcane is one of the greatest pieces of cinema storytelling and art i have ever experienced.
I actually had more anxiety about going into Act 3 for nothing more than what happened between Cait and Vi. Seeing the end of Episode 3, and then the whole Maddie issue at the start of Episode 4 affected me WAY more than I ever imagined it could. I literally spent a WEEK obsessing over it!!!
Thank god for Eipsode 8!!!!
I am the same, I was counting minutes until today, caring about nothing but Cait and Vi... And then the Ekko+Powder episode completely got me off guard, and made me care for the rest of the show too :D
I can't with these three still thinking Viktor is the good one and hating on Jayce.
I don't see how they're thinking Viktor is the good one, they never stated that and clearly they understand what he's doing is wrong. The bias towards Jayce is real though, I don't get the hating on him either.
@@alexie5201 They hate him because of what his actions caused, aka Isha's death and the complete loss of Vander.
@@hadrianhexe9603 I understand that, but it wasn't his intention, he didn't even know. His primary goal was to save humanity. I get the frustration, but he's not the bad guy here.
I don't get how you think that they think that. They never rooted for Viktor or against Jayce
Viktor could k1ll 300 zaunites and upsiders and theyll still blame jayce for it
"You've been very self absorbed, Jayce" UHHH YES MAMA, THAT'S HIS ENTIRE THING IN THE GAME.
It’s so annoying that they’re still on Jayce viktor is clearly made to be in the wrong and a true threat to humanity we saw what Jayce saw which was a world taken over by Viktor/hexcore corruption
Jayce beat the allegations
The Twenty One Pilots song is so haunting, sad, and hopeful. Its so them. And it somehow falls perfectly into their own lore.
Act 3 overall pretty much spells it out.
do they watched ep8 before ep7 or something lmao why still hating on Jayce and praising Viktor like he is still doing good thing haha
I'm happy for vi "lowkey"😂
Wow...the Jayce hate is real with these 3😭😭😭
20:05 thats 21 pilots for you
Aww she feels bad for maddie 😭😭
Me too i felt bad for her.....in ep9....pff
I swear liking or disling Jayce is just a test to measure peoples reasoning vs emotion
Y'know...Episode 8 of season 1 talked about Oil and Water...Episode 8 of this season is gonna go over different liqu...you know what no, I'm not finishing that joke. 💜
Mel had a MAX STEEL MOMMENT
lol i wanted to see yall react to the entire
sex scene damn
I love the soundtrack and 'The Line' by twenty one pilots fits so well in this episode when Victor starts his evolution. excited to see the music video for that song when its released in a few days
"Ive been waiting for this" Achara speaking for all of us!
Mike u really good at putting these things together..
Just when I thought Jayce couldnt get hotter they got *that* outfit...
Corin Revek is the name of the father of a League Champion called Orianna, who is definitely the girl in the pod. The reveal in Arcane is that Singed and Revek are the same person, and that Orianna is Singed's daughter.
I agree with Jaby lol, Vi & Caitlyn's relationship is real toxic.
"I have a dumb question"
"There are no dumb questions"
Ma'am, you've never been cursed with the experience of browsing yahoo questions back in the day
The final please 😩
Don't both rushing kids, the finale isn't worth writing home to mom about...
For those complaining about Warwick`s final appearance differing from the Game, it`s literally based on "An American Werewolf in London".
16:10
narrator: Cait, in fact, let her come.
no i have been the biggest caitvi fan since s1 but for them to do it in JINX'S CELL while jinx went to off herself felt very ooc for vi and just weirdly placed overall idk how to feel...
wait wait wait, i just woke up let me go watch the episode 7 reaction lol
Jinx is a Mass Murderer yet they all eff Jayce
The reason why Jinx ran away from Vi is because she said it herself. "Everyone who gets close to me dies". After seeing the exact same thing over and over again, the last straw was Isha, Jinx didn't want to see Vi die also. So she ran away
The guy on the right always impressing me by his point+emotion....❤❤❤
Disheveled Jinx in a prison cell looks like something you would encounter in a Souls game.
The quote that passed through my mind this episode was, "One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it."
i mean this as the highest of compliments, Michael looks like an Arcane character
Jaby and Greg having the same question. 😂
They think alike
lets see how bad you feel for ginger in ep9
I am glad Mike is there, because I missed some important plot points. I did not really understand what Viktor was doing.
Team Hive Mind here really all about the loss of self, lol.
6:35 They still dont know what's going on😂 Y'all Vik was doing some sketch stuff...scary actually.
Did you not see what they were doing to Vander?😭 And Viktor literally joined Ambessa's side
Sometimes we find it hard to accept reality because we love the character. I think it has happened to all of us, we have our favorite.
All Achara said was go away. Cait was trying to wake up Vi who had just lost Vander again bc of what Jayce just did. I think the show wants you to be a little upset with him
@@foamytomato9342 Nah Viktor was doing AND saying very sus stuff before that if you pay attention. Anyway, I immediately got creepy vibes so I wasn't too quick to get on Jace from that moment onwards. Only when he was a dick to Me lol
@@daniellaaa24 I'm just saying that Jayce is somewhat responsible for the loss of both Vander and Isha
“ the musics really interesting. its unnerving but while also feeling hopeful?? its weird-“ thats twenty one pilots for you
This Jayce hate won't age well, that's all I'm saying
I just watched season finale and I am crying for the last 10 minutes 😢😢
When are you guys posting the final 😭😭😭🙏
So Mel have powers because in the Ambessa league of legends trailer Kindred give Ambessa powers called "Chozen of the wolf" and in this trailer Ambessa have pregnant by Mel
Viktor is essentially Ultron. But He believes that in order for humanity to be saved, people must lose their humanity/emotions
Them realizing Vi cait having clear rules about relationship breaks 😂
Post the final episode quickly as fast as you can
26:42 Lol, you won't feel bad about that after episode 9 :)
Miss the reaction to entire Cait/Vi scene
0:16 I just need a forever episode
i love how they cuted the hot scene xd
The actions jayce took to avoid what he saw actually helped bring it about. If he hadn't attempted to kill Viktor, Viktor wouldn't have entered the final phase of his evolution. Vander would have been cured and his blood wouldn't be used to keep Viktor alive or as a weapon for Ambessa.
Actually reminded me of a line in Kung Fu Panda. "One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it." 😂
People don't acknowledge the paradox. Sticking to the one 'bad' and "good' side narrative. Stuck in a loop. You can't see the forest for the trees.
26:32 hum... lets see how it goes in the finale.... lol
I have a question did you not watch ep 7?
I seriously did no think mel could get any hotter
Was the young man playing with the piano Jhin???
Thank you very much
They just won't name drop the deceiver bruh we know you the moment black rose is naned 😂
Hating Jayce fr? 😭
11:45 that mannequin robot thing was a human
"No amount of good deeds can undo our crimes."
That's why Jesus.
God bless, my brothers and sisters. 🙏
How did Vi wake up with red hair?
I personally wouldn't trust ANYTHING the mage said to Mel, you know, considering the mage is LeBlanc and she has been manipulating event for the past 1000 years at least....
I assume you have watched ep9 so I'll go ahead and say I believe Mel doesn't believe the mage either.
She was using her as well lol. I love Mel.
Can't manipulate the master manipulator
who says you can't route for the bad guy?
