My boss has a 2017 Black SVR here in Ontario that he lets me borrow from time to time. It has the carbon ceramic brakes, very nice car, fast and loud!! One of the best sounding engine/exhausts I have ever heard.
I love my SVR. I got a 2017 SVR with CCB and carbon roof. Still have it under 18k miles. Everyone loves it. I get so much compliments. I wonder where i could find the rarity of it. It's got the alcantara suede. White with black leather/white switching.
Used to work at a car dealer and we had one of these traded. Drove it for 30 miles and it was one of the most fun cars I've ever driven. Definitely will be my next fun car
I'm after one, it doesn't need that spoiler, natural curves looks better, want one in black with black rims and before 2017 so the exhaust sounds like a real Jaguar and coz its more affordable
Does this have a after market body kit besides the wing/spoiler? Looks extra good....im looking for one 2016 50k miles, tossing up between this or a AMG c63S
@PerformanceOnWheels that's what I think, in Australia you can get both used for similar price, my brain says the merc is the smarter choice for reliability and quality but my heart loves the Jag. Have taken the Jag ftype R real wheel for a test drive and its a joy to drive and looks stunning, im just terrified of the JLR reputation of having many issues.
@PerformanceOnWheels thanks for responding, liked your vids and subscribed to support your algorithm but also because I like your content, respect. Watched the Jag issues video, it's funny, I was driving home today and drove past a parked Ftype and it caught my attention, it was the v6 version which I could afford right now, but I've never owned a v8, currently drive a Audi a7, which I've had for several years and was looking at the RS7. I just can't justify buying the Jag v6, when there is a V8 monster available....so I have 2x questions if you wish to answer: 1. Just get the v6 or wait and get the v8 as it is worth it 2. The ftype R, prior to about 2018 gets the pops and crackles as shown in your video, I heard there is a maintanence update that quietens/stops as much crackles, if I purchased a 2016 ftype r and it had the software update, what can I do to reverse it?
@user-xi2gb1fb6i get a v8 it's worth it. Don't be to concerned about the software. It's fun and you will be happy regardless. At the end of the day, the o2 sensors and cats will thank you if they have they update.
Warning ! get those plastic y-pipe done because it's a matter of time to start leaking and you will say goodbye to engine with warped heads - anyway - loved your videos - decided on 2015 R RWD - ultimate smile generator..
Finding one for 55 will be difficult. Not impossible. I know there is at least one on the market that might get there. Challenging when there is only 10-20 on the market across the country. Mine had 42k.
@@PerformanceOnWheels honestly I just wonna be a dick to my neighbors and get something loud but reasonable in price. Also since I don't know much on either car I'm asking you because all I want is quality. And they both look a bit similar so I'm not sure.
Haha thanks for reaching out Benny :) I’m saving up for a house so not at the moment but I appreciate you reaching out :) my Corvette Z06 gives him a good run for his money
I went from '16 R to 17 SVR ( updated headlights ) both cabriolet - the SVR is just nicer inside and for me anyways, it drives just a bit nicer too, I found that my R was louder or deeper sound - unsure why but def was, ive got a predator package, so 670hp and 1000nm, stage 3 tune etc, kw street comforts - oh yeah 200 cell cats and a non resonated cat back system ( no resonators ) she's now loud as all F*ck lol
Hello! Im looking to buy a new car. However, i have some specifics and so far the result is F-Type R. The specs: 1. AWD 2. N/A or Supercharged V8 3. Sport coupe. Are there any other matches out there?? THX!!!
The Jag XJ220 had a record 217mph by Martin Brundle ua-cam.com/video/L-SceE1sTBQ/v-deo.html not 212, but with lastest developments, drivers have hot 220mph. Love Jags. You have a beautiful car there. Look after it.

Amazing! F-type registry has the most documented records. More so, country of origin, coupe vs vert and exterior color. Thanks for checking in.

He don’t look like your dad he looks same age
18 years apart 🤟🏼
Nice to see you back in an F-Type. I had a white 2015 R. Awesome ride!
Can’t wait to get more videos on it! Absolutely love these cars!

Nope! Totally stock. Both are great cars. The F-type is on another level than the C63 in my opinion

@user-xi2gb1fb6i check out our is the Jaguar ftype reliable video! We go over all the common issues and talk about what you should look out for

I want one of these so badly but here in Canada there is only 1 for sale with super high mileage.
What a beauty and a beast

Since its AWD does it still behave like a RWD can you drift/powerslide with it?
Very much so, definitely can get sideways in a hurry
lets goooo. i just bought a 2017 r
Very nice vehicle and I have never seen one on the road
The red and black quilted interior looks like a tarts boudoir. Not that I’ve ever seen one of course 😏
Ive been looking into buying a SVR within the next few months. how many miles is to many for 55k dollars
Finding one for 55 will be difficult. Not impossible. I know there is at least one on the market that might get there. Challenging when there is only 10-20 on the market across the country. Mine had 42k.
I have a question, should I get the 2021 r type or the 2017 svr?
What look do you like the look of more? SVR has older infotainment, but should be closer to dramatix depreciation.

@xicorescalante2854 svr it is! 21is quieter.
Please don’t tell people about this car 😂😂 let it stay cheap and affordable

Best video yet
Where did you find the quilted floor mats?
Do you want to buy them? I will sell the ones I have.
@@PerformanceOnWheels good move. They are cheesy 😢
Hey Austin, are you interested in buying my 2014 F-Type S, under 11,000 miles? Would you like to race your Dad?
Haha thanks for reaching out Benny :) I’m saving up for a house so not at the moment but I appreciate you reaching out :) my Corvette Z06 gives him a good run for his money
I’ve had a 2016 R for years and love the car but couldn’t see spending much more on the SVR.
This is an awesome car
Svr is beautiful but I'm just as happy with my V8s that I modified to 666 horsepower and it only cost me 30000 for the car and less than 5,000 in mods

Do a z06/svr comparison
C6 or c7

Beautiful car, but that interior is a bit much. I really love my 2015 F-Type R.
Holy hell. 3 video I watched. At what point do either of you actual drive a car ?
Unfortunately we don’t really have the right camera set up for it yet. Contouring to work on it as the channel grows!
@@PerformanceOnWheels understandable. Thanks bud
Cool car but dude turn the music down a little bit on the intro
Give me back my dream car😊

I definitely wouldn’t call it a “Supercar” but it’s clean
According to Google definition of a supercar.... it is. Google doesn't lie.
