Laura....thank you for the video.....I check in the mornings to see if you posted one...you are a real inspiration to us gardners....keep up the great work...Mary Ann
6 kids napping, headphones on, dancing in the kitchen to your music at 7:00 washing bottles and sippee cups Lol! 'Thanks for the fun! Love these updates! 💐
As soon as my kids gone to school, I sit and relax while watching your videos.
I learn alot everyday from your videos.
Love always
😘😘😘😘😘

The gembox foliage is beautiful! The glossiness and curve of the leaves makes it so much more attractive to me than other boxwoods.
Boxwood trimming is so satisfying to watch! 😍 I wish you could trim them more than just a couple times a year!
I am learning so much from you about many things. Thank you for doing all your videos over the years! It helps a lot! 🌿🌲🌳🌷🌺🌸
You are an inspiration to get out and get garden chores completed! I am so pumped to get out in my garden and maintain my boxwoods and topiary. Thank you! Happy gardening!!!
Laura, is there nothing you can't do!? Great shaping of those boxwoods. I'm so looking forward to the many projects y'all have planned!🌿🌳🌻
Love Aaron's fast motion of your work--wish I could actually move that fast!
As always, great video. I've learned so much this winter. I've never had spring fever this bad before. My neighbors probably think I'm nuts being out in the garden this early.
Am I the only one who prefers the natural, wild look of a Boxwood?
Me too!!!!
I love how proud you are of that transplanted boxwood 😆😆 Cracks me up every time you talk about it 🤣
Your grounds are simply beautiful. Love watching you. I feel very invested in your gardens! You are the most inspirational person. Your knowledge is amazing and I’ve learned so much from you. Love, love , love your videos!! Thank you 🌸💐🌺🌼🌹
I'm glad you are a little ahead of me weather wise since I'll be trimming my 4 boxwoods in a couple more weeks. It's great to have a refresher, and excellent tip to use the fabric or tarp to easily collect the trimmings. I completely butchered my boxwoods the first time I trimmed them, nearly cried but thankfully they grew out of that first awful trim!
They look so much better. Great job! 🌷🦜 🌳
Nothing like a well trimmed boxwood! Thanks Laura!👍
Gorgeous shaping 😍 that's such a good tip so that you don't need to pick up and clean all the trimmings
You're taking the fear away of how to grow and trim spherical boxwoods. I can see that using a cordless trimmer makes the task much easier. This is a helpful video. Thanks.
Nice work on the trimming. They looked great. 👍🏻
The macaron boxwood is so cute 🤣
Oh my word you are a pro with that hedge trimmer. Awesome job and awesome video. Thank you for sharing your many many useful tips.
So fun to watch. I hope you do keep that poor little boxwood directly under the pine tree, that has the open area. I love tending plants and bushes that need extra attention. 😀
Fantastic Job Laura, really enjoyed this video! Really appreciate you sharing everything with us, please never ever stop! Can't wait for the first garden tour and when the 3000 bulbs start to bloom!
You are so good at shaping those boxwoods! I have some boxwoods that need to be shaped. I plan to shape them into spheres. I hope to do as good of a job as you. 🤞🏼
Is it just me or did everyone find this so satisfying to watch 😌 love it!!!! 😍
Wow Laura, that is awesome! Great job, miracle worker! They look great! 💜🌱💜
As always, this was a great video to watch. So informative and also so much fun. I love the way you speed things up for the final video and it would be really interesting for you to post (in the comments or description below) how much time it actually takes you. For those of us who are new to this, knowing how much time to allow would be so very helpful. Thank you and happy Spring
You make it look so easy.
Great energy! Really pumps me up to get busy with my plants. The goal is beauty but the result is happiness.
Good morning and what a fun coffee with Laura video! It is so fun to watch you trim things up and I wonder how your get the nerve to just go after a plant with hedge trimmers. You have such a good eye to be able to see the shape you want and only trim off what you need, I think I would be trimming until it ended up very tiny lol Thanks again for sharing you skill and wonderful ideas about plants with us!!
So satisfying.
Hi Laura!!! Love your videos. This weekend is going to be in the 70s in VA!! So excited to get out side and do some boxwood trimming.
Hi Laura, I am just starting to watch your videos. I enjoy watching and have learned so much. You have such a passion for your gardens. They are beautiful. You are a superwomen and inspirational for the rest of us who don't have any green thumbs!
I have six Green Mountain Boxwoods in my front landscaping, I love them. Thanks for a video on my absolutely favorite shrubs!
You'd have to be the queen of trimming boxwoods Laura 😉 great video, I've learnt a lot from watching it, thank you for uploading it 👍🏼👸🏻😘💜🕊
Always helpful, Laura! Not too long, either. 😉. Thank you!
I have alot to learn about plants and caring for them. Shade, sun, partial and I love all the information! Thank you!
I ignored my boxwoods for a year and I need to buckle down on their maintenance. This was quite inspiring.
for a dead part - if you make a cut in the leader branch at the bottom, it makes it grow after a while so dence. We had totally dad one and after several months it started all new life
You inspired me to Garden the last three years!! More years to come!!🌷💜
I love trimming videos.
Great time in the garden. Thanks so much for sharing Laura!
i love having your videos on as i do my housework your videos are so relaxing, i end up getting pulled into the video though and not actually doing housework xD
Yes, this video was very helpful. I am new to boxwood plants and wasn't quite sure when the best time was for trimming. My temperatures are still doing a roller coaster cycle, with 50-60 and then it cools down to almost 32 degrees. I guess that I will have to wait until the temperature stabilizes. Thanks for the very informative content.
Very windy in Florida today, too! Nice job on your trimming.
Wow awesome editing!! This video is a step above! Love the music! Love the perspective! I’ve been watching your videos for a while and I can definitely tell you’ve stepped up your game!!
This would be such a nerve wracking task for me...."Oh, that's uneven, better cut a bit more off....now it's wonky...need to even that side up...oh, where did the boxwood go?" I love that Laura just gets stuck in and doesn't overthink it!
That would totally be me! 🤣
Same. They would all end up super cut down and back.
You shaped them beautifully! I like when your videos are long!
As always, so interesting and informative! 👍
I love waking up to these!
So gratifying to watch those plants get their haircut! Great info aaaaaand now I’m in love with those other varieties too-the Strongbox and esp the Gembox 😍
My yard looks decent and getting better because of you and your video's. Thank you!
Hey laura!! I was hoping if you could show us an update on the rudbeckia seeds that you sowed a couple of weeks ago. Thank you.. Happy gardening
Um I must have that tool. I never knew I needed that until now.
Great job! Brilliant idea with tarp. I had a hydrangea that was on a slant and I evened out when planting and it straightened out, thankfully!
Great information as always! Thank you Laura! 🌿🌷🌸🌹🌺🥀🌾🍂🍁🎋🌼🌻🌞
I learn something from every video. Thanks.😳
Love the Boxwoods. I didn't know there were different ones. In the years we have lived here had to replace ours in the front hedge. I went with blooming shrubs and kinda of sorry I did. They haven't been as hardy so have lost a few of them. Great video! See you in the next one.
Great job well done 🙂👌
Ma'am, you have beautifully trimmed your box. Love it.
Very interesting and knowledgeable for my future of me getting some of these boxwood in my garden thanks guys.
Thanks for sharing, your videos are always interesting and inspiring. X
You are amazing!! PLEASE show us when you prune your Hydrangeas. I need to do ours that we planted last year. I need some advice if you're not done yours yet.🤞☺
Great information ! Thanks 💕
Thank you. Love the video. I have a lot of boxwood shrubs that I have to trim also. I wish I could use a hedge trimmer but my hands are too small and the trimmers are too heavy for me. I have to use hedge sheers. It's a good workout!
LOVE IT💞💞💞💞 Also I see that the root cellar is FINALLY GONE!!!! Cant wait to see that video 🙃🙃🙃🙃
Just what I was looking for. Thanks and love your gardens.
In this pruning case less is more. Excellent job and inspiration!
I love your videos💞💞💞💞😊😊😊😊
Great video. 👍🏻 Finding videos on trimming boxwoods. Using clothes is a good idea. I am stealing it. 🙏
Love your videos. They are so inspiring. Please don't ever stop! Oh and love your name too! 😀
I'm glad I just found your videos since I'm looking for new bushes. I like your inkberries
You did a nice job trimming the box woods as cones.
Your videos have provided me with so much useful information! Thank you! BTW, love the cordless trimmers.
I could watch this all day!!
U r my inspiration...I admire ur work u r just superb....👍
Boxwoods are so great. I got rid of a bunch of small pine tree looking things and replaced with boxwoods looks clean and classy.
I always look forward to your videos... you never disappoint.
Best videos ever, by Lauren ^^ 🤩🌱☀️
It’s Laura
@@Jack-oc2xq oh, sorry 😅
Great video! I’m going to train my velvet boxwoods this fall and this was really helpful! Thank you!
Wow, they all look so nice afterwards! Also, I noticed the root cellar is gone! I can't wait to see the video and your plans for that area.
Great advice!!! Ready to tackle mine for the first time!!🤞💗
No more frost, lucky you, we’ve got over two more months here! You did a great job on pruning Laura.
Hi Laura. When do you fertilize your boxwoods and what do you use?
I’ve always heard that you need to get down in the center and take out some growth to let air in there? Maybe that’s just here in the south? Loved watching this - going to get out and do mine - have lots in a small courtyard - helpful to see the drop cloths...with the “stay at home” order this year, a good time to clean up the garden! All best wishes
thank you for this video and tips, new house has some boxwoods that need shaping and I wasn't sure how to start, most vids just trim up existing shapes so I appreciate you talking about training them and that it's a long process
Great job on the music, Aaron!!!
Enjoyed watching this! Lots of energy, it was a pleasure watching your video. my boxwoods had previous owners and they look typical boxy shape but definitely over grown. They need help and so do I in how to cut them back.
My husband and I are watching you trim these and are cracking up at MY lack of trimming ability despite me being a dog groomer for 23 YEARS! Maybe if I can ask my boxwoods to wiggle around and jump and I might get a better result.
Lol! Cute reply!
I would advise having protective glasses
Oh my, you do a fantastic job, they’re great
This was awsome thanks a lot, I am growing some plants to make cone topiary and this was very helpful as you said patients with the smaller ones
I love the macaroon look. Actually if I found a pot like that it would inspire me to have my first boxwood
I LOVED IT!!
I cut a Christmas tree skirt shaped piece of tough fabric to put around bushes to catch clippings when I trim. Works great. This is for plants in the ground.
10$ a plant!!! Great deal, who doesn't love a great find? Gardening on a budget! Any tips for propagating from a cutting? Haven't had much luck with that. But I keep trying.
Ask your friend to cut their plants.
Here in the south my favorite hedge is Gardenia and Azeala best evergreens unfortunately they cant take full sun but in wooded areas they really shine.
Great tutorial !! Thank you !
Great video. I’m waiting for Hydrangea Pruning.
Also I’m use to the hard plastic tarp. Where did you get the fabric cloth?
