Two Easy Bookmarks for Valentine’s Day with LuvUMost and San Rocco Border

- I recently uploaded images from my sketchbook that showed my practice for the pattern LuvUMost by Rachael Schwartz CZT. A few people asked if I had a video for it, so I decided to go ahead and show that pattern plus another one called San Rocco Border from Marguerite Samama, CZT. These look complicated, but they’re not. The LuvUMost step out is available on the Tangle Patterns website, but the other is only in the Tangle All Around group in Facebook.
Pattern used in this video:
LuvUMost by Rachael Schwartz CZT
San Rocco Border by Marguerite Samama, CZT
Supplies Used in the video:
Zendala, 3.5" Zentangle tile, a sketchbook, or any paper
Black Micron 01 pen or PN (or your choice of pens and colors)
Graphite pencil
Blending stump
Optional: Colored pens or pencils
If you’re interested in adding background color to your tiles, please see the videos in this playlist:

Thank you! I love your teaching style, and the quiet when you're concentrating is not only fine, it's a lovely sliver of peace in our noisy world. ❤ Never apologize! Watching you work even quietly is both entertaining and inspiring.
Thank you so much for your comment. I do worry sometimes that I've become too quiet and viewers are expecting me to give guidance the whole time (like other videos that I watch). When I concentrate (that's the zen), then I forget and I'm happy to know it's fine. 🥰😘❤❤
That's' exactly what I do...watch it all the way thru', not even speeding it up cause I don't want to miss a word you are saying! LOL....I LOVE both of these so much, the second one is a bit intimidating for me, cause my hand is not steady like yours, I am working on it every day and I will get there!! I am going to do both of these and I appreciate so much how well you teach, showing each step so carefully and calmly!!! I get so excited when you post a new video, altho' I go back and do older ones of yours in between!!! Thanks for taking the time to share, to inspire and encourage me! Happy Valentines day to you! Hugs!
Thank you so much, Anita. Your comments always make me smile. I’ve been practicing for years so just take your time and enjoy each pattern. You’re doing great! 🥰❤️
You are second best to the original zentangle. I love this
Thank you so much! ☺️ ❤️
Inspired by you... AGAIN! Thank you!
You are so welcome! 🥰❤️ Thank you! 😊
You do such a great job. It takes me forever to do what you do. Thanks for the videos
It has taken me many years of practice, so try not to compare. Just enjoy what you can do, one line at a time. 😘❤️
Great tip about laying down some graphite then picking some up with the blending stump. I like that a bit better than my tip of taking the stump to the tip of a pencil and picking up a bit of graphite that way. I want to make this heart bookmark.
Thank you, Marilyn. I'm glad it was a helpful tip and I hope you enjoy making the bookmark. 🥰❤
Very Beautiful Barbara 💞💞 Happy Valentine's Day.

Hi Barbara thank you for your great videos I know there are links but being an older newbie and loving all of this can you recommend and books that have the zentangle patterns. I did start to make some drawings but this is taken time, help would be appreciated thank you and happy valentine's day x
Hi Janice. Thank you and you're welcome! My first book was "One Zentangle a Day" by Beckah Krahula. It's a great way to start learning Zentangle. Most of the books on my shelf are older ones with the classic tiles in black and white and the older patterns that I really love. Another one that you might like is called "The Great Zentangle Book" by Beate Winkler. And the last one I would recommend for you is "Zentangle Primer 1" by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas (the founders of Zentangle). It has all of the basic information that you need and it was required reading for me to become a Certified Zentangle Teacher. I have lots of other books on my shelf if you need more, but these will be an excellent start. I hope you have a lot of fun! 🥰❤ You can also email me anytime if you have questions. notperfectzen@gmail.com
