Noise cancellation doesn't block or absorb sound. It is actually the process of adding more sound in a specific waveform that offsets (effectively cancelling) the background sound. So it's not reducing sound, but adding sound that results in the two signals combing to cancel perceived sound.

Maybe I just got unlucky but I had nothing but problems with my powerbeats pro. I bought them when they came out in 2019 and use them till today. They allways have problems with connecting and my right earbud loses connectivity after 5 minutes of usage all the time. Just google for powerbeats pro loosing connectivity. I would strongly advice against buying them. If this problem wouldn't exist they would be the perfect earbud: Sound is very good, fit is great, they stay in ear, long battery live, but the connectivity is a constant struggle making it a horrible experience.

I actually got extremely lucky my father found these at a thrift store for a few dollars 💵 and bought them then gave them to me for free I’m impressed with the sound quality it’s incredible nice and somewhat loud finally a good pair of Bluetooth earbuds that stays in my ears

They need a new one to come out these are still the best wireless earbuds to this day. I love the round ring to make sure they stay on, especially if you like to run, box, or anything else. All the other earbuds on the market that are “HIGH-END” DO NOT stay in. I like to box time to time all other earbuds fall off every time without fail. Sony’s, jbl’s, airpods (you look goofy too), Bose (especially those ones), but beats wireless (only this model) works like a charm.

Same here, I’ve owned 2 pairs of these. I agree with all the use cases you mentioned, they need to upgrade these headphones with better battery, mic and bluetooth connectivity, while keeping the exact same form factor which the main reason I own these. All other more expensive headphones just keep falling out of my ear.

I bought these a few years ago and eventually broke them. Moved on to the fit pros and broke those too. I’ve had soundcore headphones for a year and they started to go but was at Walmart last night and found a pair of these on clearance for $99. They are white (not my first choice)
But man I almost forgot how good they are!!

Had mine for three months. Left bud started leaking battery acid. Apple says it’s not covered under warranty and want $250 to repair. I paid $150 for them new.
There was a class action lawsuit about these. Gonna look into that but it looks like it might be for 2022 or before.
    For the exact same problem.

I have them for about almost 3 years and the right headset always dies about 20 minutes. It’s very annoying when you’re in the gym. These are by far the only headsets to fit properly in my ear, but the right side dies too quickly for me to enjoy

    • @jaigo6901
      @jaigo6901 Місяць тому

Same, except mine is the left one that dies after 30 mins 😢

    •  Місяць тому

Similar for me. I bought them like 2 years ago and suddenly like 6 months ago the battery started acting super weird. Right earphone is usually ok. But the left earphone always shows battery only from 50-100% (basically it dies at 50% and not at 0%, so it lasts only like 30-60 minutes). I cleaned the case, the earphones, updated the app, everything. Fair to say that I have Android phone. Also, maybe like 2-3 months ago, also charging the case/box is so unpredictable. Sometimes it charges, sometimes not (again, I changed cabels, cleaned everything etc.). And actually if you google, there are many people complaining about very similar issue (in similar timeline) as me on reddit. So, I guess it is actually quite common. Now I am looking for new earphones. Like 250USD to have good earphones only for 2 years is not good enough for me.

I'm actually lookkng for something that blocks out the most sound possible being that I work in an industrial setting that is pretty dang loud. Normal ear buds suck b/c they constantly slip out and don't hold a seal so noise always leaks in partially deafening me :( so I wonder if these work well for that?

I don't care how great the quality of earbuds are, if they don't stay in your ear, they suck. These stay in your ear. I just can't seam to keep the other (any of them) earbuds from falling out. I ride my bike in traffic with these on, and unless I'm listening to something far too loud, I can hear traffic coming up behind me. These behave much like airpods when used with my iPhone/iPad. I listen to podcasts, pop, and classical for the most part, & while I'm no audiophile, I am impressed with the quality of the sound. I own two pairs of these, & the ones I got 2+ years ago, still hold a charge for about the same time as they did new.

Mine I just bought used once and they pause and skip through songs and podcasts.. I think it’s because the button is too sensitive on the left side.. I work in a freezer so I have a hoodie and beanie on. I think the hood and hat press or sometimes hold the button.. it’s really annoying. My old pair doesn’t do that..

Linked to a Samsung S22 Ultra - No bass, very crisp - right ear plug turns off within an hour, if reinserted into the case and removed, the ear plug will work for an additional 30 minutes before both ear plugs turn off.the playing app. Very disappointing and frustrating!

DO NOT BUY. I’m a mechanic. I use these all day every day.
While they do not fall out they do not stay in place. I’m not just talking about during head banging. When I twist my head upside down to look under the dash of a car and they will move and I have to readjust. If you try to mold the over ear piece of match you ear it will hurt after an hour or two.
I am no audiophile but I have friends who have told me these suck for music. I said idc I just want something to stay in place.
I am on my second pair to have this same issue again as well. My left ear bud refuses to charge anymore. It is not a contact issue because I have thoroughly cleaned the contacts and ensured even pressure is being applied. Now I have to work the day with only one head phone.
Battery life is good at first. One month in though and they will not last the whole work day. I am currently looking for something better. I will not be buying a third pair and I highly advise anyone else from buying any at all. Save your money.
These headphones are just not worth the price they work okay but the price isn’t an okay price.

    Not such a great review.
    1. if you use outside, you can just rest the bud outside rather than securely plugged in, like an open ear headphone. He hasn't really thought this through very well
    2. the comparison of sound just appears like from copying other videos, no real comparison of a specific song or type of instrument that doesnt sound as well on this particular headphone

Honestly like most things owned by apple they are overpriced. They don't have all the features that something like samsungs buds have, no passthrough, no cancellation. Even the case lacks wireless charging and uses the typical thunderbolt BS (which is pointless on a device that only uses it for charging) The only thing they have going for them is the ear hook.

  • @NavyGuero83

I have had a pair of these for 4 years before Beats sold these to apple, I loved them. They still work and charge to 100% but the right one dies after 20 min. I decided to get a new pair and I have now returned twice (on 3rd pair in two weeks) the new ones due to not charging to 100%. I will give the 3rd ones 1 last chance but after reading online, apple made them cheaper. They are known for doing planned obsolescence. fkn capitalism!
