@danascookbook Yes, great idea! ❤️ But actually I know more people who just watch, or mainly watch UA-cam! Love this introduction to your channel, have watched it 5 times now!💕☺️
I bet the falafels were absolutely delicious! I always enjoy trying them at different restaurants, each one seasons them differently, which is part of their wonder!!
Love your recipes Dana❤Question: love a detailed video on how to present falafels at the table ie which salads, dips, breads etc go best to create a falafel feast for family & guests xxx
Thank you 😊 watch my previous video , Mezze it gives you an idea of one way also the end of this video . I would use pita bread but also on a plate with semple of every side salade ( Mezze) 🥙🧆
Hi Dana, I absolutely LOVE falafel, and your cooking channel. I was hoping you could send the recipe to me please? I had a very hard time seeing it on the screen while viewing this episode. Thank you & be well! 😊
Hi Lisa. Thank you for watching 😊 the recipe is in the description that is the ingredients. If you follow my video it’ll be just fine hearing or enough . Don’t forget to put the chickpeas into water a night before. Then you just mixe them with some pita bread or bread , fresh coriander and garlic. You spicy them , add a little water and fry them for a few minutes and it’s done ✅
@@danascookbook the mung beans (green in colour) are treated the same as the chick peas and basically you put your own condiments etc in. As I remember they used olive oil, lemon juice, cardamom (ground) , mix it up and fry. I'm sure there were more ingredients similar to those you used but I honestly cannot remember. It was more than 25 years ago. Lol
Dana l am looking forward to your new video. My name is Thomas and l study Japanese and have been 12 times. LUCKY Tom going there to do his master's degree. Please plan to visit him as it's the most amazing place on earth. Is he doing his degree in Japanese? This is so exciting. I am a lot older than Tom. Haha
Thank you how nice of you 😊yes I’m definitely planning going there , he studies in English and Japanese. It’s his second and last year. The first one he did on zoom as Japan was closed because of covid. I’m looking forward for that trip 🎉
You must find an excellent Israeli restaurant and enjoy the falafels in a pita with chopped salad stuffed into it and humus and tahini bout into the sides and top of the falafel 👍🇮🇱
Arabic food is the best. Italian food is good but Arabic food is great and you must google Arabic food in other words Middle Eastern cuisine. Give credit and stop stealing our food and labeling it Israeli. Yes many Jewish Arabs moved to Israel and became Israeli citizens but it’s not right to steal the identity or origins of the cuisine.
@@danascookbook not great either. I think just white will be clearer. Love your falafel recipe…. For gluten free, I’d just leave the pita out! Yum! Toda raba! ❤
Are you sharing the recipes? I can never keep up. Please at the end of the video put the ingredients and the amount. If it’s “to taste”-just say that. If at the end you could use white background with plain print it would be easier to read. I want to make this! It looks SO GOOD!
@@jmk1962 ok got you. Although in this video I do give the quantities I just don’t say it correctly 😅soup spoon is tablespoon… also as my mum use to tell it’s all in the eye lol
I love chickpeas, however, i don't like to eat fried foods because of how it affects cholesterol and burning fat makes it a dangerous fat. Is there anyway to bake them?
Hi dana, do you remember when your son sent you a pic of him dying in the bar? I'm the bartender that got him drunk. He told me about your channel and it's super cooI! I'm definitely going to try your cooking!

Hi, from the Panhandle of Florida! Please show us how to use cardamon!! I usually buy packaged falafel mix and I want to try your recipe, but I am cardamon clueless!! Help how do you use it?
Do you mean in food or how to prefer them? This are seeds so I put them in a coffee grander or a mixer and I add them to the mix. Or you can buy them as a spice it looks like black pepper

Hi Dana, you said you added yeast to your falafel dough, but when you opened that little sachet it looked more like baking powder. Maybe you made a translation error.
Hi! Yes it's the same I said chemical yeast which is backing powder (I added it in writing and in the description) In France we have chemical yeast (levure chimique) and boulanger yeas, the chemical is the white powder:)
@@TheSecretChateau thank you for watching 😊 well , no discussion about the yeast , as it’s a matter of language. So much passing traffic through the kitchen while you're trying to record. Not even an apology from Philip who seems to always be seeking out wine 🍷 the one thing he's not allergic to. Keep going Dana 💪
