I love Whal products. I have been grooming for a life time. The clippers and metal combs are great. They do a great job and make grooming much faster and easier. Best to all !
what a good dog - it's nice she is completely trusting while you groom her
I’m happy you said you leave them on the charger. I just got my Bravura and the instructions seemed to say don’t do that. It confused me because I wondered how you would know how much charge they had left. I’m going to do what you do - leave them on the charger. I have an older Mini Poodle and Shihtzu and a young Coton. So after watching you, I will use the Bravura in future instead of my heavy Oster corded. Thanks.
I'm so excited. I just ordered mine. Awesome Review
Hope you enjoy it!
Thank you for the information….great help 👏😊
Thank you for the video, the price seems went up a lot on these clippers.
She’s so cute, and such a good girl 😍
When using the guards for the body do you use the blade at 15?
Hi would a zero be ok for my 13 weeks miniature poodle puppy.I don’t need her to look fancy just clean & tidy.So I’m watching all your videos for a basic cut,as I have just bought the wahl km10 🙂xx
I use the same clipper on my standard poodle....works well, no problems.
Do you use them for the whole body? I got the Arco for all the shaved areas and am loving those, but have been hesitant to do her whole body with those (I also have a standard poodle) as I don't think the Arco was meant for that much work unless I'm mistaken. It seems like the Bravura is a step up and can handle it though.
@@jeric0777 yes. I am not a trained groomer. I trim his face / feet with 30. I use the wahl combs for body and do initial trim on legs. Finish up with scissors on tail and topknot.
@@joyaxe6704 Good to know. Thanks! 👍
Bonjour de Paris , j’aimerais savoir où je peux trouver vos bouteilles de dilution ? Mais beaucoup.
Thank you. Little dog was so sweet. I had a Wahl cordless and I loved it. But I dropped it and it busted into pieces 😔 I wish they had a wrist strap for it.
😮 that's too bad you dropped it. I have dropped clippers and blades plenty of times and they stop working 😓
Great job, thank you for your video. Can you please say what size of comb attachments are you used fo legs and body in millimeters?
Hi, for the body I used 16mm and for the legs I used 19mm
Thank you so much for this helpful video!! I have just purchased these combs for my Bravura after watching you as i have a toy poodle at home. May i ask which is the best blade setting for the bravura clipper attachment combs? Should i set the blade to the 30?
Hi, I find the 30 setting is best when using the comb attachments, however it will work with the other settings.
o great found this channel thx
I bought two of these clippers. I really like them and that they are cordless. I am able to alternate them and they charge very quickly.
What other clippers do you use?
Hi, I use the Wahl KM10 Cordless and Corded. I love Wahl clippers.
This is my favorite Clipper amzn.to/2Sx9UhN
great explanantion..why would we want to use a comb attachment if there are 5 levels on the blade? can you explain this please?
Hi, sorry for the delay. The comb attachment will leave the coat longer then the blade. Hope this helps
She is the cutest little toy poodle! Such a good little girl. Do you have any videos where we can you blending the neck?
Hi, here is my Poodle Playlist that may help you Poodle Grooming: ua-cam.com/play/PL8Nc4tU-pEvL-oLpjeUDlYHyqioWWJ_dL.html
I bought these clippers and groomed my dog twice, and now they wont cut at all, they just pull on the hair, any suggestions on what the problem could be? Thanks
Same problem, seems to be first cut puppy hair is slot straighter easier to cut. Then hair gets very curly and fine and my clippers won't go through
Thank you for the review, i am worried that the blade would get to hot. Do you need to change it often if you do a cat or a standard poodle (face and feet)?
I find that this blade does not get hot like other blades. I can shave my poodles face, feet and tail base all at once without it getting hot. It may depend on how fast you are. Keep checking the blade by putting in on your hand, if its too hot then let it cool for a few minutes and brush the dog, or do nails while waiting but in general it rarely gets hot.
@@LoveofGrooming Thank you :)
Thank you for this! My current pair can’t handle my poodles fur
Hope you didn't buy these, they don't cut my poodles hair unless it's matted and the hair can be pulled to cut. It doesn't cut through his hair if it's not clumpy
I use Bravura on most of my dogs. Do you find that some of the settings get worn out faster then others? With me it's #10 and #30. Also, which setting do you prefer under the attachment? Thank you.
Hi, yes I do notice that the 10, 15 and 30 get duller then the 40.
I use either the 30 or 40 under the combs.
Thank you for the demo. I am trying to learn to groom my shihtzu. I bought wahl chromado. It too has 5 settings. Unfortunately, it does not come with instructions. I have arthritic hands. It is a quiet clipper. My dog gets fidgity with noise. Thank you again for your directions.
@@LoveofGrooming I guess the #9 is the largest on the 5 in 1 which I guess would be almost the same as a #10 in a regular big clipper. I don’t use scissors much. I am a bit impatient for scissors!
Hello! Would you mind to post a link the the set of combs you have? Thanks!
Hi, here is a link to the set of combs that were used in this video amzn.to/3Lj6vKJ
Thank you for the video. I had to send my bravura back. The sound and vibration was too much for my little toy poodle. I do have a question on the guard combs. I have been avoiding using them on back portion of his legs. His tendons are so small that I fear them catching in the guard comb teeth. Is this a real possibility or am I over worrying about it? Thank you so very much!
Hi, its possible to catch the tendon, however if you use the right angle you could avoid it. I go over the side of the tendon avoiding going straight over. Also you could use very light pressure in the tendon area, however going over the sides is safer. You could also use the scissors in that area.
@@LoveofGrooming Thank you for the tip. I never thought of going sideways :-)
Hello i have watched your review and wondered if this is still as good as you say before i buy it.. your feedback would be much appreciated.. many thanks :)
Hi, yes. I use it everyday in my salon. I love it!
Oui tres belle
When you say a 30 or a 40 what do you mean. I have a Wahl with an adjustable blade but the measurements are 0.7 mm to 3.0 mm.
The ).7 is close to a 40 blade and the 3.o is close to a 7 blade. Adjustable blades seem to be clip a bit closer then the regular blades. 40 is the shortest and 7f is longer then a 40. Hope this helps
@@LoveofGrooming Thank you so much.
She is so sweet. What scissors do you suggest for what you are doing here?
Hi, here is a link to the scissors that I use on a daily basis amzn.to/3D5rcFY Hope this helps
Is this dog going to be growing out her top knot and ears
Yes the topknot and ears are growing out.
Very loud clipper
I hated this clipper....
