Last season didn't really grip me but this ones been solid so far, Justin always knows how to do a B plot. Chris was so right about the wall being one of the most compelling things in Solar Opposites lol
"Marta" is meant to be a representation of Morty's doubt towards Rick. Now that "she's" out of the picture, it signifies that from now on, Morty's gonna be more trusting to his grandpa onwards. Unless they break continuity!
Doesn't episode kinda remind you of Auto Assimilation(Unity episode)from season 2,where a hivemind was operating as multiple living things, similar to morty except he's multiple characters split
true true, the "hivemind" theme is a bit on the nose but I couldn't help but feel like this one was easier to digest? Especially the talk Marta-morty had with President-morty about how he doesn't want to trust Rick, resenting him for his unfeelings ways. Unlike Unity we know Morty to such an extent where we can really feel where he's coming from watching this literal 'inner turmoil' play out, as much I frickin loved that Unity episode. This might've topped it for me, though that stadium full of redheads scene was golden lol
Kind of. Though in this case, it's not really a hive mind. Every individual morty inhabitated person could think for themselves. That's why Rick had such a challenge getting every "morty" on board. Had this been Unity, every single one would've fallen in line the second this shit happened.
Anyone else gonna call out the fact that we saw the current fam settled in the universe where everyone killed eachothers' clones, an episode which showed us how un-important our rick and morty are, in an infinite multiverse, filled with an inifinite number of rick and morty clones - none of it matters. this ep2 did a similar thing - showing Morty in multiple bodies, each unique, with their own tasks, like mortys throughout the multiverse too XD
The Morty that trusts Rick is all in Morty and the hold outs are still in the game. I would love to see a full sentient Morty who has zero trust in Rick manifest somehow
(A plot) centered around Morty's simulated existential crisis with religious themes and the (B plot) was focused on those who model their entire lives on popular culture vs those who just "wing it".
Came for the Rick and Morty reaction, was surprised with Suraj explaining ubuntu. Yes that's literally it, I am because you are. A very humanist message that we still TRYto live by here in South Africa
15:00 - Really engaging and well produced. The parts of Morty that were conflicted went to war; what purpose did was he willing to live for? Marta grew to be the caretaker and queen of a world where he can be at peace. Really fun conversation to hear.
"I hate everybody" is what's on the sign I the censored version of Die Hard 3 and all the versions on TV etc. Its actually quite hard to find a release now with the original sign
One thing that technically didn't make sense to me is keeping the game running, didn't they say 1 month is like 1 second in the game. I mean 50 years passed in game while Summer was doing die hard. Marta was like 50 when they got out, so in a few hours in reality she would have died in game, right? Please, correct me if I'm wrong.
@@irok1 Yes, but the alien said that the game is still going so an old lady can live a full life. My point was that that would have happened in a few hours in reality so if they shut it down after a day she would have live a full life in the game, so why put it in storage? Unless other people stayed as well and repopulate the game?
So was the monster that ate alien Hans the creature that followed them in the openings of most of the seasons? Also the nod to Indiana Jones at the end with the warehouse was nice
if ur talking about peter dinklage doing the ghost voice in destiny its a robot its supposed to be pretty monotone and destiny 2 had a rough start but its a pretty good game just not new player friendly at all.
Did he let them live out their own lives... Or did he leave behind all the bits of Morty that made up the larger part of him who has been questioning Rick and thinking for himself the last few seasons?
Marta had one condition to get everyone to get on and leave the game. I think that was for her to get to stay. So every piece of Morty that will blindly follow is released while that one little piece that wants his own life is gone
I just had the BEST thought/theory for what they're gonna do with Rick Prime (Evil Rick) and his Backstory... Okay, hear me out... WHAT IF... he pulled a Dark Strange and basically imploded his original reality until he was all that was left, and then a Watcher like character showed him Portal tech and the truth of infinite realities and such. Then he went on to create the finite curve thingy, uniting all Rick's he was able to convince to take the same path as him essentially. Lol, late nights, airtight? 😆
Everybodys talkin about evil Morty, why? No hint, that he would ever appear again. The producers made it very clear that he is gone forever. It's not that complicated. Streamers are ALWAYS wrong with their theories.
just watching with you guys make me realize rick just spend 50 game years to take humankind a interstellar civilization. Because building for 5 billion people transport ship army with 14 years old kids. Imagine with real adults with leader of Rick. I wonder what if we saw true good rick like uses all potential to improve earth
I'm very fond of the concept of everyone is the same. I truly believe that we're just different versions of ourselves and ..and we're all on different "levels" spiritually of life.
I like the video because not everybody understood that concept on a deeper level. Other channels laugh and look past it and don't look any further but it's genius messages like this people need to at least bring to attention and acknowledge on a deeper conscious level. The normies are great at doing so. So I shall help push this UA-cam algorithm. Suraj the homie for sure
Ok, wtf, where the hell is Rana. Is she only doing Anime reactions on here now or what? Idk, this show hasn’t felt the same in the last year or so, idk 🤷🏼♂️
The philosophy of Monism states that all existence, matter or mind, is or comes from one unitary whole. A more extreme or Lovecraftian view would be that all existence is one thought of Azatoth the Blind Idiot God, and that waking It up from Its dream would destroy us all.
There’s 5 Die Hards, the 1st and 3rd ones are good, the Unrated version of the 4th one is also pretty good, the 2nd one has some cool moments but yeah is kinda forgettable, and don’t even bother with the 5th one. Just pretend (like the rest of the fandom) that the series ended with the 4th one.
idk if this has been said, but I feel like Marta was the "Mortyest Morty" part of Morty. Maybe another Morty comes and steals it. Evil Morty returns?!?!
Summer is totally right. Expecting people to have consumed every famous piece of media from before they were born is ridiculous. You do you Navi (also it's overrated)
Yeah, it gets annoying since people usually reference movies that while good, you have to go find, then watch after super hype makes you more strict on your rating plus all the good parts have been memed to the point you kinda know the movie already.
I always say yeah people who are nostalgic hate it but this is why we get remakes...its so people every two decades can get their own version of the thing you liked as a kid, and no one cares if you think it will never be as good as the original...sooner or later they remake it again and it will be good enough...or you wont be around to complain.
On the other hand, I hate it when people are so proud of not watching a popular series or movie franchise just for the sake of it. In the end, they're just missing out on epic greatness!
Dinklage doing the bad guys voice caught me so off guard
I kept thinking it was Paul Scheer doing a really deep voice
I was shocked when I saw his name appear at the end
He does the dvd commentary on Pickle Rick as well and it's so random. But apparently he's a big fan of the show
I was just coming to say this and you beat me to it. Dinklage's voice is so unique.
Last season didn't really grip me but this ones been solid so far, Justin always knows how to do a B plot. Chris was so right about the wall being one of the most compelling things in Solar Opposites lol
The Wall is the greatest thing in SOlar Opposites, could literally be it's own show
I think Rick might have saved Morty from Prime Rick here, literally.
Save game.
Obedient Morty becomes a sleight of hand gimmick.
Ngl I spent half the episode trying to figure out who voiced the Hans Gruber before realising it was Dinklage.
Sorry to hear about Chris. Hopefully you guys can find a medium to channel his ghost for the next episode.
"Marta" is meant to be a representation of Morty's doubt towards Rick. Now that "she's" out of the picture, it signifies that from now on, Morty's gonna be more trusting to his grandpa onwards. Unless they break continuity!
Well I assume Rick will continue to give Morty reasons to not trust him, and eventually he'll have to relearn to not trust him implicitly.
it make sense to do that duo to last season events and morty being a rebel
Doesn't episode kinda remind you of Auto Assimilation(Unity episode)from season 2,where a hivemind was operating as multiple living things, similar to morty except he's multiple characters split

The Morty that trusts Rick is all in Morty and the hold outs are still in the game. I would love to see a full sentient Morty who has zero trust in Rick manifest somehow
That's basically "evil" Morty
That's literally just evil morty
evil morty and i have a feeling evil morty had a similar experience by leaving his good side some where literally and he's not just evil
Kinda sounds like how toxic Rick and toxic Morty escaped the spa and came after their “healthy” counterparts.
(A plot) centered around Morty's simulated existential crisis with religious themes and the (B plot) was focused on those who model their entire lives on popular culture vs those who just "wing it".
It took me a second before I recognized Peter Dinklage's ' voice as the "Hans Gruber", guy.

3:02 Navi and Spidey now needs to do a irl simulation of die hard with the rest of the Normies using nerfs guns.
"oh that makes so much sense" before rick finishes explaining why everyone is morty...
i’m so happy that suraj was in this reaction to see the die hard references
Die Hard was also Alan Rickman's first film appearance
Okay, you guys have already caught up on all the other major franchises so now it's time for Navi to get to know Die Hard, hopefully this Christmas!

He had 92% but it went wrong and they lost a lot more and replaced some with children which are not really original Morty.
Its not the whole civilization, just Martha.

Time for the Normies react to Die Hard... Christmas 2022
UA-cam always recommends films when I watch stuff and for this reaction it recommended Die Hard with a Vengeance 😂😂
Gotta love Rick pulling a 10th Doctor and 'saved' Marta like the Doctor saved River.
