@dylanbam1635 Yeah, we're a country that had to rely on arms to defend our land many times in our history we have guns and know how to use them unlike you.
After we got so arthritic that even a 20 gauge left us unable to sleep for a few nights after a couple rounds of clays; I picked up a Mossberg 410 AND a MEC 600jr mark V reloader in 410. Compared to current price it has paid itself off. Compared to 2018 prices I'm a couple boxes away and should be paid off for equipment and materials by mid October 2023.

Fine shotguns! Yes, you can spend an amount to equal the cost of a new vehicle, but the results are pretty hard to differentiate. Pride of ownership is relative!
First shotgun I ever fired was my great grandfather's .22/410 over/under. I loved that gun. Just something special about it. One of millions of good times spent with my grandfather. Haven't ever had the money to justify it since but I want a .410 like I want air to breathe. Just seeing you dump that box of shells had the scent of those old paper shells and gunpowder in my head in an instant. That there is a shotgun you don't see much anymore. Thanks for helping keep it alive.

Nice shotgun, and nice video! I started reloading brass 410. Got sick of little to no 410 ammo at the stores and brass shells can be reloaded a lot more times than plastic. Plus I always got squirrel loads on hand.
For the price if you want to go with a smaller bore than a 12ga go 20ga, it all comes down to ammo availability, performance, and cost. I’m 2023 20ga > .410 and hell the harder hitting 12ga is usually the cheapest anyways. If you want to hunt small game I recommend smaller shot for a 20 or 12ga or an air rifle.
