You want easy, watch Maddux footage, he never wasted motion. I think holding the knee up takes away from some of the velocity and surprise factor. But he looks extremely comfortable delivering throw after throw
I don't know a lot about Japanese baseball, do the pitchers get hurt more/less/the same as pitchers here? I notice a lot of the pitchers can still throw upper 90s and some even in the 100s while not being very big guys. They don't have crazy looking mechanics either. The throwing motion of the Japanese pitchers just looks different than the pitchers in the United States.
Japan infamously doesn't care nearly as much about pitch counts and preserving arms for pitchers when they're young and developing (ace pitchers will throw pretty insane pitch counts in their nationwide HS tourney). Daisuke became famous as a teenager for throwing 400 pitches in 2 days there. So I'm sure they have plenty of injuries there too lol
The way they pitch just looks so clean to me

Japanese style amplifies the mechanics of pitching.

There are fewer injuries in Japanese baseball but not by a huge margin, I think I remember it being around 4% fewer.
