San Bernardino Zoo is set in Southern California and is inspired by some of the finest zoos & architects around the world from Singapore to San Diego. It is the sequel to Tekton Zoo and will be my main zoo for the next few months (joking, this will take years!)

For the food court, you could also have exhibits for animals you haven’t done yet such as the Boa Constrictor, Anaconda and invertebrates to make it more appealing and would make people want to go there more

I like how at the start you showed us the starting construction of the dome with the cranes and stuff, nice touch. The habitat is really cool, keep up the amazing work

I genuinely don't know! I'll see what I feel like building once Amazonia is done. Maybe the Australian area as that is the other side of the entrance?

While i´m sitting here with my coffee and watch this video, i can only sit and shake my head and trying to get it around how fantastic, awesome, beautiful this build is!!!! This is some of the best building so far! MAN!! I think i have to see it a couple of times because this is beauuuuuutiful! And the cat´s looks SO amazing in there!
And the way you show your respect for the guests through your buildings are just WOW man!!

Man the green netting looks absolutely amazing! I'm really enjoying seeing some super naturalistic habitats from you after binging Tekton but it's also wonderful how you still manage to combine it with some stellar architectural builds like this one

This big cat aviary is epic! I would have loved to scout out the habitat from the viewing areas, just to catch a glimpse of these lovely animals in such a cool environment!

I forgot a cinematic of the food thing through the viewing windows so I'll try and remember to put one in the next episode

It was nice to hear Yorkshire Wildlife Park mentioned, my local zoo. I think there's a lot more inspiration people could take from that park, the Lion and Polar Bear exhibits in particular are unlike anything I've personally seen before, and both absolutely massive.

If you put a small ramp on the feeding platform the jaguars should be able to eat from it, it wont be as seamlessly floating but at least they can eat from it
Thanks for the tip, I'd rather keep the look of it perfect though, they have plenty of other food options. I forgot to put it in the cinematics as well! I'll try and get a shot for the next episode
The German Zoo (Krefeld) you mentioned, used to be the Zoo where my family used to take me as a child. So many good memories ^^

The Jax Zoo has the underwater viewing gallery in their Tiger exhibit which is my favorite because they have 3 exhibits that connect to each other via a sky bride the goes over the pathways where guests walk so you can see them there too. All their exhibits have cool little nooks and crannies for their animals to use

In my local zoo (The ellen trout zoo in lufkin texas) has a jaguar exhibit which has a large aztec temple as a center piece which the jaguars can bask on and be seen by many people.

I feel like amazonia would look really nice if it was inside a building completely enclosed and made into a sort of indoor part of the zoo but like always great vid!

@@ZSHplays Concrete is a very versatile material, it can be modernistic or shaped and detailed to suit any themed build. Good choice!

Thanks! I don't currently have plans for another habitat although there is room to squeeze one in in future, 1 more building episode and then we will tour the finished area!

I live minutes from Stone Zoo.. I was so shocked when you mentioned it since it isn't that big of a zoo.

Fun fact: while Jaguars and Leopards look similar they actually have many physical and behavioral differences. Being much heavier than Leopards, Jaguars are much less prone to climbing. They are also the largest land predator in South and Central America and therefore don't need to stash food on trees to keep away from others. Jaguars are also the most aquatic species of big cat, with some populations feeding almost exclusively on aquatic fauna like caiman, frogs, fish, waterfowl and river dwelling mammals.

Already a minute in and I love the video. Quick question when making the first part of the habitat with the mesh it seems you were able to instantly rotate the pillars to the certain mesh bits and I was wondering how you did that.
It's just Position Snap I think, it moves them to the same angle as the piece you hover them over, then I just hit X and move them into place.

Could you post your entrance on the workshop? It looks really cool and I would really like to get inspired from it in game!
Sadly not. Paths don't save so it would only be useful if you spent hours putting 2 floors of pathing in and the joins. Plus, as I made the front wall out of reward statues you would only be able to load the blueprint if you have bought every DLC and completed the first 10 levels of the career mode!
And now for the big question. Did you know how much this Habitat cost 😏

Love the series, But I feel like some gameplay would be great being a big RP guy. It gets kinda tiring watching building and building constantly, the cinematics are cool, but just overall, managing your zoo and showing us more in-depth stuff instead of just building would be great since it is franchise mode
Maybe like episode intervals, like special episodes where we just see you managing the zoo and not just building every time; keep up the great work tho.

do you have some plans for the zoo, what animals will you have
I’ve planned the whole zoo, the coloured boxes you can see in the background are the various areas. The exact animals is a surprise but I plan to have all the big hitters
Just a suggestion could you do a Borneo jungle zone with orangoutangs proboscis monkeys clouded leopards and salt water crocodiles
One of the areas I've already planned is going to be very similar to this!
How do you get the cinematic shots of the animals?
I mainly use the explore cam

Question . how do you make a animal habitat without a barrier and a reptile habitat with a a exhibit and the other exhibit animals ?
You can use null barriers to do the first one, just use a dry moat or water to keep the animals in. I’m not sure what you mean by the second one?
@@ZSHplays I think they meant your large exhibits, in that case, they're just 2 seperate exhibits made to look like 1 big exhibit

Tigers don’t live in the Amazon so no. Just the Jaguar.
