I'm not a big fan of apes or primates and don't think I've EVER built for them in PZ, but you may have just changed my mind 😅 That shot of the gorilla in the forest was beautiful, and the viewing areas you've set up are so interesting and fun to watch. Did not mind the longer video in the slightest, 15-20min is the sweet spot I think!

I really love the way you blend structures into the terrain. It makes it look realistic and purposeful. Like many others I prefer longer videos, I like hearing where you got your inspiration from and the thoughts behind each design.

Nice build oso I rlly like how all ur normal videos are like 15 to 20 min since its quite easy to sit through and watch rather than enduring an average 30 min plus average pz video. So thank u for ur great videos. (Oso love how this zoo is becoming an empire lol)

Amazing video! This habitat reminds me of Taronga's current Gorilla habitat: open space with a few plants and a lot of climbing with their indoor shelter inside of a small, artificial mountain. although, the viewing isn't glass and is just a bamboo fence under a hatched roof looking over a moat.
It sucks that we will never get mountain gorillas in the game. However, even in real life no zoo will ever will be able to house mountain gorillas. Nowadays, all gorillas from zoos come from other zoos, and back when gorillas were being captured for captivity, all mountain gorillas caught, died on their journey back to zoos. So they stuck with capturing Western Lowland Gorillas, and they're the only species you will ever find in zoos
I've not see Taronga's! Ironic considering I used so much of their Australian area for inspo!

I love longer videos where you really go into your process, its fun to see your thoughts as you build. Do you ever sketch things out on paper first to get an idea? I've found that's the best way for me to get started, otherwise it's hard to picture when you're looking at a blank map.
I sketch most habitats out first actually, it definitely helps. Next episode is all about the process so I think you'll enjoy it!

Beautiful!!!!! My only questionable gripe is that Gorillas tend to prefer privacy and get annoyed seeing people stare at them (direct source from San Diego Zoo, actually). But I think this habitat is fairly even enough in those natural views being kindof not too obtrusive for the gorillas. I could be wrong. It's just something to consider.
Thanks! I've heard that actually, there are two spaces, 1 just outside the shelter and 1 near the door of the shelter where they can't be seen - it would be better to have more but I didn't want the habitat to be any bigger.

You should take a look at some of the enclosures at Edinburgh zoo I love the chimpanzee at the zoo it’s an indoor out door inclosure. Loving the series keep it up man

Idk if you do requests for like zoos but I would really like to see you do something from Zoo Knoxville I think it be really cool to see any animal from the zoo and a similar enclosure from the zoo for them

@@ZSHplays not really they do have a website but a lot of there animals there aren’t in the game but you could substitute them for something else I will look tho
The gibbon or really any of the monkey enclosures are some suggestions they have really cool climbing areas
hi, this is probably my favourite zoo. I'm so glad that you mentioned San Diego because I'm going there in April and I am doing to Polar bear and friends experience. Do you know if it is worth it?
