Good Luck to gen 2! I debuted tonight and only my boyfriend and one person who commented on my Twitter showed up and neither barely talked. I kept it positive and confident throughout my stream, but I'm honestly really bummed out about not having people to talk to about stuff while streaming. I'm going to stay positive and keep at it, just wanted to vent for a second.
A few questions for you Rin, though I don't know if you'll see this. 1. Would it be fine to do a simple game, like Henry Stickman, for your first few streams? 2. Is it easy for an indie vtuber to Collab with a corporate one? 3. What would be an example of unimportant details? I may have more later on, but if you could answer the ones I have now, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time!
I'd say yes for the first one, for the second one it's a bit more complicated to Collab with Corporate Vtubers than Indies as the Corp will likely want to check you over first before allowing you to Collab with their Talents, whereas with a Indie Vtuber you just need to convince the Vtuber themselves. The details you want to focus on should be integral to what your content is, show off your personality, and want your content will be. Keep it short and succinct, this is an introduction, Give your name, some fun facts about yourself, and introduce the content you will make. The small details like in-depth Lore or the nitty-gritty details of your model, can wait until later.
I’m kinda curious. I can ramble for several minutes about (almost) anything. Does that kind of thing translate well to streaming (and/or videos)? I figured with the PowerPoints you do you might be more familiar with the concept lol
As long as it's not monotonous and you are also able to ask questions and engage with viewers answers (if they are interacting with the conversation) then yeah, talking points are fun in all kinds of streams. If you aren't looking for interaction in real time, then videos and shorts are just as good!
Hi i wanted to know i saving up for the gear of being a vtuber but the audition I'm confused do i need to send them a vid of me doing stuff or a vod of a stream? Im a little confused
One more question is how will it go like to explain would it go like this you submit a resume or something like that and send a 1 minute cut or longer or what to make it basic how would it go down when it comes for the resume? Step by step pls

Rin has doxxed herself as someone who actually cares about others... shocking and controversial development.
Having now watched and (slightly) digested the debuts...I am so, so sorry Rin.
Wait what happened?

VID not VOD you're sending your best work not your whole work (have VODs available to prove you do in fact stream though)
Oh ok
