Watching this while waiting for Accession Council to proclaim Charles III King. God Save The King.
@Jack Fantom Believing "Presidents" serve "the people" (when they actually serve political elites/donors)...THAT's sheep. Monarch has no need for such support, only the support of their people directly, THAT is more democratic.
@Jack Fantom so are u
@Jack Fantom OK Mr lack of Respect
God save the 14 million having to choose between food and heat because God knows the king won’t do anything to intervene with parliament and help
@@theeperson3764 Written out of ignorance.
Very possibly the greatest king Britain ever had. There's a reason Queen Elizabeth turned out the way she did.
What a strange judgment. He was a very wimpy person.
@@ransomcoates546 were you there in 1936 to know that yeah?
No he was a mumbling buffoon. If he was actually in charge Britain would be hailing Hitler
@@ransomcoates546 I mean... He was the spare sibling and never meant to be King, and he had a speech impediment, so I imagine he was shy.
They are the greatest monarchs of modern Britain!
One of our greatest kings we have ever had
I don't mean any disrespect, but how was he?
Now Woody.EXE can be Wales’s greatest kings since George IV.
@@seansmith445He had done many wonderful things for the UK. During WW2, when the Germans came to bomb London, the king with the Royal Family chose to remain in the city and never left to give moral boost for the British people. Just like his daughter Queen Elizabeth II, he also brought many wonderful inspirations for the people during hard times.
George was a shy person but he overcame that and made the people of Great Britain have faith in the royal family especially during ww2
3:00 Such Confidence the Garter King of Arms bore on his face. He might be thinking how great he nailed his job.
And doing it twice in just a year at that.
@@simplyme833 To us, it's a job that has minimal workload and lots of holiday. But to him, there was only one take for the job, and it would be a national and lifetime shame if he screwed it up.
And 70 years after the Death of his Grandfather we now have a new King in H.M King Charles 3rd some 362 Year's after the last King Charles 2nd who died in 1685 and four years later we had the Glorious Revolution and the freedom we have got today
I don't remember watching this on TV
I love the queen ❤️🥺 and god save the king
From italy
@Richard Schiffman god didn't save him though...
Thank you Nicola
Just three years later, the sound of a different type of gun would have been heard all over London.
Rest in Peace Queen 👑 Elizabeth II God save the King 👑 Go HUG someone today IF they're been vaccinated! King 👑 George VI is my favorite King 👑 because he and I have something in common! We both STUTTER! Blessings and Hugs 💖💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕!
They missed out Emperor of India
India gain its independence and George VI dropped that title, ELISABETH II didn’t use it because was already a republic.
@@ahmedladan6967 George VI proclamation was done in Dec 1936 when India was still under the British Raj. He gave up the title in 1948.
My observation was why didn't they say Emperor of India when it was done in case of Edward VIII, George V and Edward VII?
god save the king
@Jack Fantom God Save The King
@Jack Fantom so are u
I don't think there will ever be a king Albert Queen Victoria loved him so dearly and I don't think anyone wants to eclipse Prince Albert. If you noticed he took the name george As did his grandfather who was also named Albert.
I think him being a spare meant he will try by all possible means to be better than his brother .His brother had the privileges had nothing to prove .Still hard to know ,somehow l feel he was behind the Edward 8 coup .
I love the decision of Edward VIII!
Was that Churchill very early in the video?
Yes it was
It was during the wilderness years so Churchill wasn't in Govt or even an MP in 1936 but he was a member of the Privy Council(who's members formed part of the accession council), that's why he is there, so is Anthony Eden (man seen with the military cross decoration) and Clement Atlee (behind Churchill and smoking with top hat on) if you look closely.
HARDCORE
Elizabeth II died
Sheesh 😬
Only lawful 😂 I think all those prior killed Kings would have something to say about that
Stuarts have entered the chat.
