- A&Z #956 - Randy Santel "Atlas" vs The "Mountain" Undefeated Smash Burger Challenge hosted by Carolina Jax in Jacksonville, Florida. Katina and I decided to kick off our 2021 food challenge touring in Florida, and our February Florida Tour turned into a February & March Florida Tour!! I attempted lots of food challenges all over the state of Florida. For food challenge #39, I traveled to Jacksonville, Florida so I could take on the undefeated "Mountain" Burger Challenge hosted by Carolina Jax which is known for serving some of the best smash burgers in all of Jacksonville. A people people had tried the challenge previously, with no winners. I had a 40 minute time limit to finish a 6x6 "Mountain Man" Smash Burger stacked and layered with cheese, bacon, healthy onions & peppers, and sauces. It came with a big tray of "Mountain" Fries topped with cheese, juicy pulled pork, and lots more sauces. For the cherry on top, I got to enjoy a Diet Cheerwine soda. I was trying to win my $75 smash burger meal free plus a sweet t-shirt & hat and the #1 spot on the Carolina Jax Wall of Fame. Thanks to everyone with Carolina Jax for the amazing food, drinks, and hospitality!! Thanks also to the great people who came up that evening to watch and meet Katina and I!! We appreciate everyone in Jacksonville, FL and around Florida who watches videos and supports our efforts!!

Carolina Jax's 7lb Undefeated "Mountain" Smash Burger Challenge in Jacksonville, Florida ($75):
- Learn more about the history of Carolina Jax: carolinajax.co...
- Carolina Jax started as a food truck and now has a Jacksonville brick and mortar restaurant.
- For this challenge, there is a 40 minute time limit to finish around 7lbs of their deliciousness.
- The "Mountain Man" Burger has six 7oz beef smash burgers stacked and layered with toppings.
- There is 1lb of Sharp Cheddar Jack Cheese, 1lb of bacon, peppers, onions, and some sauces.
- Carolina Jax has a great Cajun Ranch and it's smothered on both the burger and the fries.
- There is a big tray of "Mountain" Fries loaded with pulled pork, cheese, and multiple sauces.
- The challenge includes a regular or diet Cheerwine soda based out of Salisbury, North Carolina.
- Winners receive the $75 smash burger meal free, a sweet t-shirt & hat, and Wall of Fame.

With all the craziness in the world. Randy, katina, and Joel Hansen make me the most happy out of all the other videos I watch daily.
@@clixyxd7426 i prefer the content of their characters vs what they look like on the outside. I’m pretty sure Randy isn’t the same age as Joel😀. As you age, you have less DHEA, so you no longer block hormones to stop storing fat. Katina looks very muscular, so I think both are burning off as many calories they take, but age is also a factor.
@@clixyxd7426 you sound like someone who's hangry and on a perpetual diet.
Randy and katina are entertaining their followers, health and nutrition is up to them, also it's a personal journey for everyone.
And yes, age does matter. Middle age spread is called that for a reason. Of course there's going to be some who break the mold, you might even be one of them but the majority of us do contend with age related weight gain, muscle loss, bone density loss and less energy or desire to diet.

I don't live there anymore, but man I'm proud of my home Florida for keeping businesses open and letting people make free decisions about what risks they are ok with taking. It really saved many of my friends businesses.

With the risk of having to give it away for free to winners (and a shirt), they need to charge significantly more than the regular price for six burgers and x-large fries.

Just a hint, for Randy always pulling his shirt down after raising his arms up, they sell shirts that are XL or double XL but also extra long for the torso at most stores, even stores like WalMart. You gotta ask sometimes but I wear a Large size but extra long length and it has really solved this issue for me.
