My dad bought me a version of the milk trick back in the 50s in Miami from a place that sold magic tricks. That and many others give me a lot of entertainment when I was young.
Thanks for uploading! Been searching for this vid forever. Great memories entertaining my family and friends at school with these tricks when i was in 3rd grade!
I saw him back in February at Gold country casino in Oroville. He was great along with other performers. I got to do a meet and greet with him and the others. I even got a signature from him and a photo opp. I even got his and others signatures and his ladies assistants to sign their names on a poster I bought. The trip was totally worth it.
As rudimentary and simplistic (and probably obsolete) as these tricks might be, they are a brilliant insight into how magic, and the thought processes behind it, works.
The most important thing about knowing a little about magic is that you realize how easy it is to fool people, including yourself. Hence, you become skeptical and less gullible.

i didn't care for the rollercoaster escape one. to this day rewatching it the moment he leaps outta the way it looked fake. like an edit or green screen. i don't believe it was, but it never looked right. plus i don't think he needed to do "risky" escapes for viewership. his magic is too good and too clean to do those types of acts, imo.
The sound is way out of sync with the video, but still good information. Lance is a true professional. One of the best of all time, back when magic was not performed via video edits (I'm talking to you, Dynamo!)
I just watched, for the first time, his debut on The Tonight Show. So smooth and enchanting.
I remember this video from years ago. I forgot how much I liked magic when I was a kid. Thanks
omg I have that set, God I loved watching this and practicing with Lance

I got the magic set with this VHS tape included for Christmas one year as a kid. Lance Burton was my favorite magician. I was so happy!
Saw him 3 times in Vegas! A true artist. Everything is beautiful and very engaging

Thank you so much Ted for this amazing video of Lance! Thanks a lot!
I have this VHS somewhere...so many great times back then!
How and where did you find it?! Was it a mail order thing?
Just simply wonderful.

Cool thanks
That might be the best kids magic set ever.Think about it very good tricks with cheap props.
My ex wife was a master magician. She divorced me, and made all my money disappear.
Now that is definitely funny

Some of the ones were ones I knew. I was hoping for a trick that didn’t require a kit.
I like seeing Lance Burton. He only did two television specials, and he should’ve done more to take the place of David Kotkin who stopped doing those.

Its only a basic trick and you can buy those stuff in any street
This is a kids video sold with a basic kit after his Vegas show you nerd.
Lance on speed run on this one 😁
The audio is out of sync
😂🤣😂🤣😂 dont you dare share this or make people pay to watch it while you present it to them!! 🤣😂🤣😂
Was that actually a magic set, a lot better than many avaliable today, super cheesy video though 😂👍
i was at lance's show where he walked out and quit during the show...never to perform again
WHY?! What happened?! And when?!
@@alexkx8599 It never happened.
@@MrBongers That's what I suspected. I feel like there would have been some information about it and haven't found it. Thank you.
