I’m going to purchase a tama club jam mini kit, then purchase Roland side mount triggers and use as an a2e kit w/ mesh heads and a hybrid kit w/ the Mylar drum heads. I have both strike module and strike multipad. The sound possibilities are endless with electronics thrown in
Got an idea: Make the Cajon out of quarter sawn spruce! Maybe have a frame, and attach spruce panels on the sides! Sort of the opposite of a guitar, which has one spruce sound board on the front, where you play the strings... You could have 3 spruce panels and one hardwood panel to play on! Thanks for the inspiration! IMHO

Thank you so much. Just using little amount of tissue paper and masking tape under the drumheads with proper tuning on the lug screws.
