Manaweblife joined the amazing weekend crowd at SS2 durian stalls to find out what is actually happening. This video is clear and evident that despite inflationary concerns, rising chicken and egg prices durian lovers are diehard fans! Musang King, D13, D4, XO, you name it they have it at unbelievable prices now. Some prefer to eat them fresh on the spot but many now buy by the boxes to take the whole fruit home. They even allow you to ‘see’ what is inside before you buy the fruit. Some varieties by weight is even cheaper than chicken. For true durian lovers this is the best time to fill up the tummy before the prices go up. It’s a durian windfall!
