That moment the Beast Titan starts talking: easily one of the most terrifying, chill-inducing moments in all of anime imo. My heart froze and I just stopped breathing when I first saw that scene. What. A. Way. to introduce an antagonist.
I agree but to me personally, the most chill-inducing moment will always be when the female titan appeared. That creepy piano when Armin was looking at her was sublime.
I like how random it is that most people didn't believe it was the Beast Titan that said "Wait", or they just miss that.

How do you think when he is being compared to Mikasa? Who do you think is superior soldier using ODM gear and tearing titans? Btw he is facing a new unidentified titan alone. So I guess that took him by surprise.
What happened to Miche could have happened even to Levi on that Situation aswell. Miche was was caught off guard

btw, when they say 12 hours earlier, the squad missed the Annie fight, the Annie reveal and the Titans in the wall, they are completely in the dark because if you remember the scouts was called for questioning after the failed expedition and the scouts were told to give back eren in wall Sina, that’s why a select few scouts were with eren Erwin and levin in wall Sina. So right now the other squad are in questioning that’s why they don’t have any armour with them and they are far away from Erwin and eren. And if u remember when Annie was getting revealed this squad of Sasha Reiner and all weren’t with them in the room so they don’t know that Annie was the female titan! So while eren Erwin and Levi have just fought Annie in wall Sina. The other squad are going through their own problems where wall Maria has been breached and Titans are coming. This is currently what you have to know. At first I didn’t pick up these stuffs until I rewatched and I understood it properly. Love your reactions by the way!

Just in case you don’t know, the Doc’s name is Grisha. It was said last season by the commandant (Keith Sadies) when he found out Eren had faulty gear
i reckon they already know the commander saying about grisha to himself but i dont think they remember the name maybe ange wrote it down but forgets to use it

For me it was when the titan in "Ilse's Notebook" ova episode spoke nearly 4 years prior

That "Eren ie ga" joke from him is top tier
the scouts were in casual clothes cause they were inside wall rose and didn't need to be geared up. the rest of the squad were in armour though cause they were sus of the whole annie thing and wanted to be careful. when the titans came from the south they said "wall rose has been breached".

I must say, Miche's death is really one of the saddest, unfortunate, and disturbing deaths. Just like Marco, he died with no one seeing what happened, except now we the audience HAVE witnessed what happened WHEN it happened. But aside from that, he is the second strongest soldier AND we see him become so pitiful in the face of death.
I still have so many mixed feelings about this scene until today, as you can tell.

Season 1 was the buckle up phase where you strapped yourself in and waited for the ride to start; Season 2 is where the climb begins.

Oh yes, I absolutely love how beautifully WIT Studio animated this season. Some of the shots even had special focus on, adding extra details to increase its quality. Like these for example 5:51 , 11:58 , 12:27 , it looks gorgeous

You two are now legit in my top 3 reactors on youtube, and I watched a looooooooot of reactors.
The funny banter, the clever remarks, the theorizing, the inside jokes, the emotions, the attention to details. You two's chemistry really seals the deal. And the accent is the cherry on the top for me personally.
I really hope you can consider watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood next, or adjacent.
Miche actually appeared in Levi's OVA, he is the one who grabbed levi's head and put it on the floor.
And he smelled Eren and smelled out Titans in season 1
He’s also the one who caught Levi. Sure, Erwin was there too, but he was right in choosing Miche to directly try to take on Levi. Without him, Levi probably would’ve been able to get away.

I dont know if you've been reading the information being shown during the intermissions since the first episode but if you havent I suggest you do because they give some nice insight into some things. If you already do that and just cut it out of the youtube vid then please ignore this :) great reaction as always and loving all the theories you're coming up with.
Guys, love the theories, just a heads up, make sure to note which ones are theories and which are established facts in the show. It's happened to a lot of reactors before, where they get conviced that their theory is cannon (because it's a slow burning mystery of a show, there would be a lot of time passing between mystery and reveal) that when a reveal happens and it contradicts what they thought happened (misremembered or theorized events) they get wrapped up on it. Hope this doesn't detract you from theorizing though, because we love it. Hope to see more from you, guys.
I agree. Good advice. I’ve seen reactors convinced of something the show never clarified and it can sometimes lead them away from properly comprehending what they’re seeing on screen.

Regarding the episode being 26 or 2x1, it's technically both. It's the 26th episode overall *and* the first episode of the second season.
Since you're binging the entire show when most of it is already out, individual seasons matter less then if you were genuinely waiting those 4 years lol.
Imo, saying an episode from a specific season makes it easier to identify (ie, 'season 2 episode 1' is better than 'episode 26') but I wouldn't stress too much. You could probably tag it as episode 26 if you wanted, but you do you.

8:25 She is not a new character, she appeared on the second part of the first season, in the forest of the giant threes. She appears on the scenes of the perimeter of the forest, near Sasha, Christa, Connie, Jean and the others.
She's also shown to be part of the group that was in the know about the whole plan (alongside Levi, Hange, Miche) which means she's been part of the Scouts for more than 5 years - and she's still alive, so she's a badass.
Ngl this is the episode that scares me the most. RIP Miche. That's the worst way to go. Hits harder because its one of the experienced seniors.
And just gonna add. Why is it Dr Jaeger? 😂 He knew about the ODM gear and the sword usage. The commander, Keith is his friend.

16:15. The Colossal Titan kicked the hole in the wall, you see him lifting his leg up to kick it. It’s a lot clearer in the manga that he’s actually kicking.
they not usually go for the horses, they never go for animals. thats why he was so surprised.
Attack on Titan episode is counted starting from the first episode. So, the first episode of Season 2 is Episode 26, The first episode of Season 3 is Episode 38, and so on

@@CarlieAndAnge Tbh it's very risky to do so. Some (not all) show information that they'll be mentioning or showing visually within the episode itself. Not gonna lie there was one in season 3 part 1 that kind of spoiled a bit of the plot. So I recommend if it appears "too confusing" it's probably something they'll show later on in the episode, so I'd just ignore it and not finish reading.

And yes, some new questions and theories will pop up! 😅 About the long flashback, it's happening around the same time as the scouts attempted to capture the Female titan, when Eren is fighting against Annie within the city. It explains why they were not present at the end of season 1.
