Not just gilding your lily-I truly think you're cementing your place in chess history as one of the game's best storytellers. Your ability to present the game in a way that is both compelling and easy to understand for laymen is pretty remarkable. And I'm always excited for more Tal!
I agree with this guy! You really have become the sort of Bob Ross of chess - calming, friendly, and informative. Always glad to see a new video in the timeline!
To answer the question at the end; yes I’d love to see more games between these two as they are both really strong interesting players. I really liked how you didn’t reveal who won until the end as it made it more suspenseful and exciting to watch. Besides that I think I’d like to see a video covering the scotch opening maybe? Great video as always!
One of the rare chess gems in which you cheer for both players. Absolutely astounding attack by Rashid and tenacious defense from Tal! Greatly depicted and narrated by our favorite ASMR artist. This is the closest feeling of experiencing the atmosphere of that time. What a time to be alive. Thank you ASMR Chess !
@@donsimons9810 Hi Don! Let's have a lesson in social etiquette. When I say I've never been more excited in my life, I obviously am being hyperbolic. I've been excited in my life about a lot of things! What I'm doing here is telling a content creator who's videos I enjoy that I'm excited about a specific video he posted and showing support, because I'd like him to know that his work is appreciated. Hope that helps!
I really enjoyed not knowing. Your Tal videos are by far my favorite. I even enjoy the walk in the park video because it demonstrates an interesting story about him. Honestly, all of your videos are fun to watch/listen to. Overall I prefer videos when you examine a game. And in this case, I was of course rooting for Tal! But it created a little (relaxing) drama not knowing if he would win!
Love the historical matchups and games by legends; they are my absolute fav because I get to see/mostly hear fantastic moves, but also the educational and historical side of it like it’s a Time Machine of sorts. Some other interesting players with some interesting backgrounds and fantastic games also would be players like Sultan Khan, Emil Joseph Deimer, Louis Paulsen, Thomas Wilson Barnes, Carl Schlechter and Harry Nelson Pillsbury to name a few. Def would love to see those in the future. Either way, keep up the amazing work you do, you are the real mvp and goat brotha!
Hey, been a long time viewer and although you wouldn’t believe me if you saw me play chess, i really enjoy your content, my favorite videos you make are the ones like these telling interesting stories about historical chess moments and such since you excel at storytelling, I hope you make more of this type of content much love!
Starting a petition to have chess rules explained like we're five years old because a 5-year-old doesn't know how to play chess... Also would be a good video to teach myself how to play chess
That twist was wholesome. Please do every match like this. And telling the annotations is also great because I am trying to improve my annotation knowledge. Thank you for your effort.🎉
I love you Tal videos! I’ve never heard about him until I saw one of your old videos more than a year ago. Nowadays I even I have some love for him and your channel of course! Keep rocking it!
Hey I love your vids and have been watching for a while. You helped get me serious about chess! I think that these styles of videos are my personal favorite even though they don’t perform as well as the opening and trap videos. I miss the digital board in the corner of the screen to help or the higher camera angle
New vid YAY! Was just about to go to sleep. Do you post these deliberately in the evenings? That would be kinda smart, but I guess it only works for one part of the world
Makes me really happy seeing I'm not the only one so hyped about this game & matches, it's... Idk how to explain this game, chess is more than a sport, some say art, i say a form of self expression. Thanks for the beautiful games you've provided us so far
ASMRCHESS, can you please tell me where can i buy your old chess set? the wooden one. I like that tournament style! but i couldn't find the exacly same pieces you have
Personally I wouldn't rank Tal among the 5 best players ever, however he is definitely my favorite. And to know even Tal had someone to whom he'd lose frequently is scary. I hope UA-cam is treating you better. Here to feed the algorithm with some interaction. Keep up the good work!
Hey I don't think UA-cam has DM's but would love to ask your advice on starting my own YT ASMR channel... I've already started learning the backend analytics, did a camera test, and know Shorts are best for growing new subs and Thumbnail/Title are most impt for views/CTR but any advice is appreciated!
Thanks for that! Really nice to get support for the almighty algorithm and I really appreciate that you even took time out to post a "post-watch comment" :) thank you!
Hey ASMR Chess! Love your content my man, keep up the good work. I think it would be very interesting to see some content of AI Chess intelligence, maybe of some stockfish vs. alphazero type content. I personally also really enjoy the lessons, and maybe you could do some videos giving tactics, tips, tricks, or openings for each level of elo. Again, just some ideas do with them as you would like. These videos help me so much at night 😇😆💤😴
I’m happy you like it :) I am planning to do something on Stockfish v AlphaZero. I’ve also made a video about the history of computer chess - you can watch it here ua-cam.com/video/OgklFsme7o4/v-deo.htmlsi=46Zg_twrXi9cBGll
It's really fun not knowing who's going to win! I like both formats though (i.e., I'm also good knowing upfront who wins), so either is good with me. 😊
Please keep making videos I know it can be tough but just know it always gets better brother just because you can’t see the light on the other side of the tunnel doesn’t mean it’s not there ❤

oh. well thanks for the lesson there, clearly healthy person (backs away slowly)
I like how formal this video is. It's a nice switch up from the previous ones. (I still do very much like the previous ones, not saying I don't lol)
i agree. Not personally a fan of baby talk
I'm not sure if you take game suggestions, but the Aronian-Shirov game in the 2006 Tal Memorial is amazing! A Zugzwang for the ages!
Great suggestion!
I really like the background context you give at the beginning of your videos. It sets the mood and winds me down. Keep it up!
Thanks

I've put this on to go to sleep three nights in a row and I still don't know who won

I’ll put it on the list :)
@@ASMRChess tysm! Keep up the great work
Oh hell yeah, another Tal video!
Asmr chess tal videos are the best content on yt
One of your best videos.
Every time I make a bad chess sacrifice I cope by telling myself that it’s what tal would do.
Not that he would make a bad sacrifice, but that he would make a sacrifice that looks bad buts actually good.
I do the same 😅
More of these two players! A follow up of Tal winning this matchup for comparison would be great!
I quite liked how u didnt tell us who won the game, adds an element of curiosity.
I guess it's bedtime, a new HSMR video is in my feed!
thank you for another great video
Yay! Another great Tal video. :D
