There are quite a few chess channels out there these days, and I’ve watched many of them. This channel is one of my favorites. The thorough analysis of the key positions throughout a rapid-fire compilation of similar games is an extremely educational format. Love it.
This is incredible content. Tal is actually my favorite player, I admire his attacking style and aggressiveness. Also been trying to study the Benoni, great content.
i learned a lot from your magnus italian game analysis, and i had a 4-0 standing using italian .thanks a lot. Im looking forward for more contents like this, keep growing, love from Philippines!
I enjoy your Phrasing of whats happening on the Board quite a lot. The style of channles like agadmator can become to dry. I really like this. Also Tal in the bennoni is a gem in and of itself.
Actually, I've seen some of his crazy sacrificial won games analyzed on newer engines say Stockfish 16+ and they were brilliant moves and 100% accuracy but on older engines they were inaccuracies. Also, games where the engine eval bar took 20+ seconds to update and drastically swing to his favor only after his move was made. That means the engine was completely blind to what was about to transpire and saw it only 1-2 moves out. And don't forget how Tal famously solved "Plaskett's puzzle" in 1980s when it took the 2020s engines with calculation depths of 50+ moves to solve it. Tal saw games completely different from calculating players. He was an intuitive/instinctive player. You can also find a Tal game analysis against Kasparov where Kasparov was completely shook by Tal's queen sacrifice and got check-mated by a pawn despite having a more accurate game than Tal. The only thing that matters is the final outcome.
In my car my speakers pic up plosives from your microphone. It isn't a big deal I just want to let you know. You can delete this comment when you see it and address it if you want or not. Still great vid.
Hey Sammy - I'm really digging your channel. I own a chess apparel company and interested in adding a UA-cam chess channel to our lineup. If you see this, respond to this comment and send me contact info.
The moves are so clever! It's on another level altogether.

Great series, good idea, thanks.
Your selection of the matches as well as your commentary on them is instructive and entertaining. Keep up the good work SammyChess
Your content is nothing short of genius. You have become my favorite chess channel. I particularly like your phrase "back to the game"!

Tal such a wizard! The way he gets the most in every exchange, and is completely unafraid of his pieces being loose 🤌
at 8:29 white need to give up the rook, because after Kg1 NO Nd1 but Nh3++ and come a smothered mate (sorry)
Yup saw this too and was like no way he missed that
Tal was the most creative player who ever exist.
Bobby
Keep it up ❤️
love ur explanations thank you. Simple Clear Easy to adapt/learn.
You are really good at teaching chess..
Yes! I play the benoni! As a beginner, I love this.
I love your channel
Bro played the opening exactly the same everytime( with the exception of the B8 knight. This really shows his middle game prowess
Great work, I like how U choose one opening and share common plans and ideas for white and black, another plus for choosing the Magician's games ;)
Thank you! He’s one of my favourites!
@21:14 qh6 is not checkmate rh3 defends, right?
The problem is that users don't push forward or eat the first pond most games.
At 7:30 why not bishop takes the pawn?
Because white then looses pawn at e4
I imagine that the computers don't like a lot of Tal's sacrifices.
You'd be surprised by some of them. But you're definitely right. The thing is the way to punish some of them is not easy to find

Tal was GOD
Do u think Tal can beat Magnus Carlsen?
Tal loves messy games. When you wrestle with a pig, you both get dirty. Only the pig likes it.😅
*Promo sm*
If you didn't use so many unnecessary adjectives this would be the best chess channel
I thought it was pronounced gurgen eedzay
