What are Vector Graphics?

A quick explanation of what vector graphics are, how they work and literally all you need to know about them in 90 seconds.
Vector graphics are usually in EPS, SVG, PDF or AI file format, while raster graphics are usually JPG, PNG or BMP for example
Vector graphics are infinitely scalable, which makes them very useful for any graphic design work, such as logo design, web graphics, etc.
While on the other hand, raster images are not infinitely scalable and lose their quality and become blurry images when you scale them up.

Vector graphics are not dependant on any particular operating system (Windows/Mac). The most popular software they are created in is Adobe Illustrator, Corel, Sketch, etc. Some of the most popular extensions for vectors are AI, EPS or SVG

Photography doesn't work like that. Photography captures real life using light, whereas vectors are just a math equation for computer generated graphics, which you cannot apply to the real world.
