It's because it's a small country and yet all the neighboring countries have migrated to it. Eg. From Rwanda, Burundi, Congo/Zaire, somalia, Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea etc.
Very beautiful video 😍. I visited the Craft market and got some nice artifacts to take as gifts. The food at Meza & Salt and Cj's and Pardis was so awesome 😋 The markets are full of a variety of things for everyone. People are kind and gentle, but keep an eye on your mobile phone and laptop. Otherwise a very pleasant place in terms of weather and holiday resorts!
Col. Gaddafi National Mosque is massive and very beautiful. Luckily a helpful lady explained me everything about it in detail. The small shops outside sell perfumes, artifacts, prayer mats and local garments for tourists.
What about Idi Amin's palace? Maybe it's been turned into a museum or something, is there a tour to go see everything related to his regime? That would be very interesting!
Good job Grace. I see you are enjoying your time in Uganda. Thanks for taking us along on your trip. But no. No where in Africa give that Lagos vibe o.
One other thing about Kampala Rd is that it divides Uptown Kampala from Downtown. You'll find more people, business and traffic in Downtown Kampala than in Uptown.
