I’m glad to see you enjoying the last few days of summer, I hope that the colder weather won’t deter you from the Thames too much. It’s always a pleasure watching your videos.

A beautiful start to your video with St Paul’s Cathedral behind you. I love how you use your environment to enhance your videos as it really gives an air of class. You found some lovely artefacts today. I love pins & that pin was a real whopper. I love your excitement & enthusiasm for your finds. You are great to watch. As always, the video was too short 😂 Thank you for sharing.

That is a piece of Roman Tesserae (the Victorian versions are not cube sized but are flatter).
I was lucky enough to find a piece earlier today too 😊

It was probably a clay marble that you left behind. The earliest type of marble there is.

Hello - I always enjoy your videos. I know when you found the large pin you made mention it was probably a dress pin - do you have any idea where it would have been used on a dress? It seems so thick like it would put a hole in the fabric so I was just curious - or maybe it looked thicker in the video than it is in real life. I think the Tudor period is the most interesting but very cool to find Roman as well! Thank you.

Very dissapointing if you found lead and left it in the river . Every little bit removed helps.

Could the small clay marble be a pie weight? 'Twas my my first thought. Cursory searches indicate *possible* origins as early as the 14th century. Very cursory search.

I’m pretty sure the coin is an Israeli ‘10 Agarot’ or in Aussie terms 10 cents, likely from 1950s onwards.

insking us look at a bead for 5 minutes, maybe you should look for the item right next to it

It's an Israeli coin, not a Jewish coin. The Jewish people and religion do not issue our own currency ;P
