The piece of pipe stem you found before the pipe around 20:00 didn't go with the pipe? It looked like it could have been the other half of the stem for that pipe. That big chunky buckle is very interesting. Such an odd pattern. Any plans to take it to your FLO?
I don't want to put a downer on your finds but musket balls were made of lead and the encrusted balls you are finding are clearly made of iron to be so corroded. As you are finding lots of industrial iron in the same area it makes more sense to me that these are more likely to be ball bearings from industrial machinery. I'm not a mudlarker though, so I could be way off the mark here.
I don't know why I always wait until the end for you to show us your cleaned artifacts from the Thames foreshore. Why do you never do that, show us rinsed if not cleaned items you find ?

I thought the same about that pipe stem. The angled break on one end looked like it would fit perfectly with the main piece.
Were those the American gray squirrels someone unwisely introduced to the UK, and now they are out competing the native red squirrels?
Can you use a magnet to pick up the small metal pieces that are difficult to get with fingers?
