Geared more towards a new person getting in to EDC or looking to get in to EDC. It is possible with not much money to get the essentials and have decently made items. You can build from all of this overtime.
I used to be addicted to those little Kershaw assisted knives like 10-15 years ago. I still think they’re cool to play with 😊
Yeah, I have a bunch of those. They’re pretty well-built. That’s why I say things. When these companies make steel knives they’re going backwards.
It's only my second Kershaw, it is absolutely worth the price tag, USA made, 14c & aluminum. It's got an awesome thumbstud opening action. Even considering the assist. It really thwacks out, if your just worried about getting it out and opening it quick this works well. I'm not use to assisted knives at all. I think I have 1 maybe 😂

Walmart has a few things . I tried their Kodiak flashlight , $20 , magnetic recharge , replaceable battery , 1000L . It defintely doesn’t suck , easy to operate , 3 modes and hold for 1000 blast

Thanks for sharing bud! I don’t care for assisted either but the Kershaw blur is a great knife I have a couple I Have the one in S30v as well it was my first knife with a more premium steel. Also I’ve never tried but they say you can deassist the blur and make it manual
It really is well made with good materials, I really don't mind the assisted... At least just having a couple. I think this is my second assisted knife , the other is another Kershaw, the leek. I like how it thwacks out of there

😂 I hate going in there. I may go in there once a year on average usually around Christmas. I only went that time cause I was still getting paid and needed to kill time 😂

Mine has some decent stuff. You could easily get a good multi tool, and a good knife. Flashlight might be questionable but this one for 10$ isn't bad at all

I've heard a lot of you knife guys saying you don't like or outright hate assisted opening knives I disagree I really like them so educate me why do you guys not like assisted blades??
It's not that I dislike them per SE, I just don't prefer them. I really love the opening action, but I like the ability to have the blade close on its own. I would say most people just follow as sheep, assisted knives certainly have their place. I no a lot of people don't like them, I'm not one of them, I like all knives but I do have my preferences
