I’m a big fan of tank grips and fit eazi grips to all my bikes. They really help when breaking and at the track. I’ve just fitted clear ones to mine so you can still see the rs on the tank.
Would you share the service manual? Im trying to upgrade parts myself but I dont have the info on where all the screws are and the dealer wont sell me one :(
Thank you for taking us with you through the first service. What about the warranty of the bike? Here in europe the bikes are coming with a 4 year warranty. But to keep it I need a prove (of the dealer) that the needed services as per manual / service plan were done. Is this different in the States or is the warranty not that important for you? Or will they give you like a (digital) stamp when you bring the bike back because of resetting the service light? Best wishes from Germany
It’s not required for warranty in the US. We have right to repair laws which protect our rights to perform our own service. I usually save my receipts and keep records.
Oh Germany.. One day ill visit! Yea i guess it is different like Chet said, we can repair our own stuff. It also helps to know your dealer! All the guys there are super cool and know i take care of my stuff :)
Hi Connor, love your videos. I’m brand new to the triumph world. Just got my 24 street triple R. I really like your mirrors. What are you using? Were they easy to install? Are those stock bar ends? I have the evotech on mine but I really like your mirrors
Hey there! glad you enjoy the videos! The mirrors i have are FENRIR arrow mirrors. i think the link is in the description. The bar ends are from Brogue broguemotorcycles.com/products/triumph-bar-end-finishers and mirrors www.amazon.com/FENRIR-Aluminum-Motorcycle-Handlebar-Universal/dp/B08PP55WV7/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1B17LNOHKHG4Y&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.jdQlm4xrgsyCh5RrKgdqa6wEeWB8-mFOGQ3TiUPs5-S20dGgq7y168sJ3uZKpBAi_Rl0DxsJGVLdEMdULJ7Swb0vB1qUNNDe2-i2Mx_5WkXpLGpkQfFrr0y89KXuJtC4CdR4phatP9DRuEkzkHTfVtE8ZqwCueh_g5j_RqCDU7pPCTnCQEZLe_QfJm9xz341l_pkQbekfXbazb3DQ2zpeiIHp25DSMgtBdFhtRHxbNlvuZ8KA8SlNKZfbiaUpSlm3FaCBIZZfq6mQrJ2wgvAjOvwjD4Gi1KGteTp6pvhbU4.2O_HHNmYN91MGXJIdv5S9SlUVsUvp7JKBZKwoowOho0&dib_tag=se&keywords=fenrir+arrow+mirrors&qid=1729351218&sprefix=fenrir+arrow+mirror%2Caps%2C156&sr=8-1
OMG! Where did you find this magnificent SC Project please ? I bought a Street Triple RS (2023) too but impossible to find an exhaust for this model. Thanks!
Love all the Triumph content Bro. I have a 24 Striple in yellow. Been using your vids for ideas. Ordered the bar mount quadlock but now I see you have the stem mount. Which one is better? I'm thinking the pro might be because it's magnetized?
Is it true what they say? The ‘24 triple has a “run in” map or break in map that gets updated after the first oil service? I think that’s ridiculous and hope it’s not true but I’m coming up on doing my service and scheduled a oil service reset for my first service. Someone in the fb page said he took his ‘24 back to the dealer to get the new map updated and it had more power after. Anyways great video and thanks
Theres no differenzz after my first oil change at the dealeship, and fuck i paid ca$400, 250 for labourr, adjust chain. I thought they will do re map, but no, so nxtime ill do mine. I have 2024 R white
Hi! Good video! I've the same bike, in cosmic yellow, and now I bought the windscreen, the problem is that to installing it, I've to remove the small plastic piece in front of the TFT, but I can't find the way to do it, I tried removing the headlight but I didn't find how to do it. Are you thinking in buy it too? or do you know how to remove this piece?
I've only ever had Japanese bike's. Are these bike's reliable? Also are they expensive maintenance? No oil change wise but other stuff like, you have to get codes erased only by dealer or other stuff?
As of right now they seem to be reliable! There is a software called TuneECU that allows you to clear codes, however I dont think it's currently working on the 2024s. Soon tho I assume
My first service light came up on my 24’street triple r at only 279 miles, should i change the oil and filter myself or should i send it to the dealer? This is pre-break in, so any thoughts?
I did it myself! However there isnt an app to turn the service light off :/ so you need to take it to the dealer.. For now, i would just say do the dealer tbh.
You’d think… i still had to pay but they did a nut and bolt check and made sure the bike was still golden after 600 miles. Some dealers are cool with it, others are a little more tight about it. So I’d say it’s dealer dependent :/
@@rwdconnor can you get around the dealer after buying new or is it set in the ECU and only the dealer can reset? there are things you can buy to clear error codes yourself !
@@MotorcyclerideCyprus Well, TuneECU was used on previous generations bikes and that could easily reset the service light. However, these bikes being EURO5 and using different connectors, I don't think it's been updated to work yet. Im sure there will be a work around sooner or later :)

Hey buddy, any luck with the manual?

The oil service interval is 6k (not 10k) for the Trident and Street Triple. Some Triumphs (Rocket 3, Tiger 1200, etc) are 10k.
Just checked my little owners manual book and it does say 10k miles :)
A coworker got the tiger 660 sport (same engine as the trident) and yeah same thing 10k miles
Have a few triumphs and it’s 6k mile / 10k km if nothings changed. But nothing bad will happens if you change earlier
@@Pinkman875 rwdconnor was correct, it's 10k on the Trident, which surprised me. My bad.

I want to know how you reset the service counter for maintenance
The only way I know of currently is to go to the dealer :/ TuneECU I dont think works yet. Could be wrong

Yea i have the Pro Stem mount now with the vibration damper and i love it! Sits nice and low, doesnt obstruct the view :)
The stem mount is better because it’s lower and doesn’t obstruct the clamps.

11:40 - Can you use TuneECU to reset the maint light on the '24 model?
Not yet :/
As far as we are in May, why it is 2024?
Just weird American things haha.

Hey! No i personally do not like the look of the windscreen tbh. So im sorry i couldnt be a help :/
How did you get bottom plastic cover from the bottom man?

Do you perceive a slight vibration or noise when in neutral? When you press the clutch it comes off
It's just your clutch plates rattling, most if not all Street Triples do it.
My first service light came up on my 24’street triple r at only 279 miles, should i change the oil and filter myself or should i send it to the dealer? This is pre-break in, so any thoughts?

So 2024 takes 3.2 liters of oil yes? Couldn’t find it in the manual.
It is 3.0L if you change the oil filter
Shouldn't the oil be power1 ultimate? And not the entry level power1
Im not sure! THis is just what the dealer gave me
Why does the bike maintenance countdown equal 700 miles, not 600?
im confused haha. It shows service at 600 miles and im at 602 so it shows "-2" miles till service haha
so because you did the servicing yourself are they happy to just get rid of the servicing light for free? sounds questionable to say the least!
You’d think… i still had to pay but they did a nut and bolt check and made sure the bike was still golden after 600 miles.
