This song is so underrated by the community. Kemama was, too! I tend to find that British people like both songs more than continental Europeans do. I think both songs have an Afro-British flavour that we just love, but maybe some of Europe doesn't understand. Benny is a fantastic live performer as shown by his Vidbir performance last year, so I hope he really sells the song live and surprises people!
Hi K S! Kemama was *SO* underrated and Benny received a lot of harsh comments from the Eurovision community! His Vidbir performance last year impressed me too - it took the song to a different level and I'm hoping he can bring the same energy this year 🤩
@K S Does Kemama sound a little Jamaican, or am I imagining? I liked the revamped version too, the one that had guitars added. They reminded me of Malian guitarists, or West African more generally.
I started liking this song only after seeing your reaction 😃 When I first heard it, I thought it was boring and I didn't like all of that "OMG". (I wish he pronounced it more like it's in the title 😁) His 2020 song was better in my opinion but I like this one too and I think you're right, he might become a more globally recognized popstar.
Hi Sari! 😃 Thank you and I'm loving the support on my channel. I agree - Kemama was better (before the revamp), however, this isn't too bad! Catchy and a lot of fun.
@@EurovisionFeels I'm super glad I found your channel, I hope it grows fast as you deserve it. I enjoy your analysis and deep knowledge of ESC history and your beautiful singing. I seem to forget most of the songs from earlier years really fast, so it's great that you often refer to earlier entries and bring up details from there.

*What's your favourite CZ entry ever? Mine is Martina - My Turn!* 🇨🇿
I didn't like any Czech entries until Benny Cristo, but Martina was the nicest before 2020.
Martina was underrated 😢
Martina and Gabriela were both excellent
@@dawidperry1606 I Stand was sung beautifully by Gabriela G 🌸
