Why bother with a survey. Just get a tape measure and start surveying yourself. You defeat the off grid convey if you hire people to do something for you.
Hi Richard First thanks so much for watching! I love that you stopped by! Your timing couldnt have been more perfect! I just posted a video showing why I hired someone after measuring and surveying myself. Also my concept is that I will do what I can do myself with training for my off-grid location. But at some points (ie insulation etc) I hire professionals so that it gets done right. Check out my surveying video here and thanks again for your comments! ua-cam.com/video/Ik21R5__yio/v-deo.html
PROPERTY BOUNDARIES In your video dated Dec 30, 2020, you said your property was described as 528 feet by 300 feet by the real estate agent, which is 158,400 square feet. You could find only one of the four, metal, corner markers. When you measured the properties with a surveyors tape, and it was about 470 feet on the Frontage along the private road instead of the expected 528 feet, which was at least 30 feet encroachment on your neighbor's property. You hired the surveyor who did the original survey of your property to survey it again, and he put a tall, steel pole marker at all four corners. Then you said: "It turns out that I own 50 feet of the private road in Front of my property, and my property does not go an additional 50 feet of Length from the road. It seems that your property Frontage along the road and your property Length perpendicular to the road are confused. The road is probably not 50 feet wide, so you seem to be saying that the Frontage of your property is 50 feet instead of 528 feet. And the Length of your property is not clear, maybe it is still 300 feet. The following questions and information may be of some help in sorting out your property matters to protect your interests. Wishing you the best. QUESTION 1. What are the surveyed Frontage and Length of your property, and how many square feet is this? QUESTION 2. I have also had one visit since (a couple of months ago) from the County to examine what I am doing here. She was pretty friendly as I presented all of my county paper work and said See you next year! For further questions re: camping on your own land, guidelines from Cochise County etc you are welcome to contact me at my email address: Boomerbudget@gmail.com

PROPERTY BOUNDARIES
In your video dated Dec 30, 2020, you said your property was described as 528 feet by 300 feet by the real estate agent, which is 158,400 square feet.
QUESTION 2. The Cochise County Clerk has a legal survey Plat Map of your property in their records, as well as a legal Property Deed for your property in their official records. Do you have a copy of your official Plat Map and Property Deed? Have you filed your newly surveyed Property Deed and a copy of the new survey Plat Map boundaries with the Cochise County Clerk?
QUESTION 3. Does your next-of-kin or beneficiaries of your estate know about your new property?

Search for Recorded Documents
Recording Requirements:
-- Any document which modifies a previously recorded document must state the recording date, and docket and page or sequence number of the document being modified.
-- Documents evidencing a transfer of title of real property must be accompanied by an "Affidavit of Property Value," as set forth in ARS 11-1133.
This was a rough estimate. Thankfully things are documented by the county and I dont have to figure out the specific mathematics.
