I moved down here from the panhandle (Santa Rosa Beach, Florida) and we absolutely love it down here. We especially love the snowbirds as they are the most friendly people in Florida.

Venic has changed tremendously its quite sleepy town feel is disappearing. People are tearing down the old and building mcmansions. The downtown area is bustling. I visit the area but choose to live elsewhere. Hurricane Ian came quite close after this video.
My husband and I are looking to move to either Venice of North port we came out in August to view all the areas around there we were hoping to find a house under 400k but that seems almost impossible
