I bought one off Ebay recently because the mods really interested me. Unfortunately I got what was clearly a display unit from the burn in on screen. Bought a supposed brand new OEM replacement screen, I guess I'll find out. Many of the listings for these replacements that claim to be new are also from display units with burn in.
Is it really necessary to remove the plastic bezel with the screen?
Your not using the cellphone glue for the screen?

I threw away my bezel. Can i still install my new screen/ digitizer without it??
You can but it won't fit properly and will leave a gap.
