I thought that I'll fix my sleep schedule but after hearing about the match timings I think that will not be the case
😂
@nunnumemer Indeed it was
Really excited for candidates.. and given that you are travelling to Canada, it will be a treat for us Indian fans. Bummed with the timings though 🙃
Dear Sagar. You are contributing excellently in the growth of chess, in the whole world, especially, in our country Bharat. Marvelous. You are the first Indian, who is doing this kind of work. You are creative and passionate about your work. Keep it up. All the best.
Good preview. Thanks Sagar and CB-I. The timing sucks if you are in India, but it is what it is. :)
Welcome to Canada (soon), Sagar. Big fan of your channel. Hoping to run into you at the event 😃
Sagar! Can you please do a meet and greet??!! I would be attending the event here in Toronto!
Hi Sagar, love your content, especially all those behind the scenes. Please do as much of those as you can. And show us some sights and sounds of Toronto
All the best to all our players and Sagar Bhai as well. Stay safe ❤
Always remember Sagar Bhai we all are here with you and the players 👍🏼
Pragg's going to Rock it........
Hello Sagar, i'm just an amateur chess player, but i love this game. I usually enjoy your channel. Thank you for this summary...Maybe, Pragg could be the winner: let's say Pragg and Firouzja. Young chess grandmaster are so impressive today...Among the women, i guess the chinese players should have the best chances. Surely, it will be a great event. Greetings from Italy
Really exciting.. Hope Indians will perform well.. & im wholeheartedly supporting, wishing & praying for Vidit to do his best❤
Thanks Sagar bhai for providing us very nice inputs about candidates tmt , Hope to see you with your interesting commentary at 3rd April ❤🎉

Thanks man thanks for educating about this major event!❤️
Of course, we will be awaken whole night ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am really excited about this event. Will be following your coverage, if available. I recently started following live chess events and discovered that they are much fun. And this is one of the major events in the chess calender. The candidates. And ofcourse having three Indians is also one of the major attractions. My only complaint or grievance is that there will be no Nodirbek in the tournament. I really wanted to see him battling others, including Pragg and Gukesh.
Gukesh and Pragg are very exciting to watch! I expect them to take surprising wins but overall to finish in the bottom half due to lack of candidates experience. Fabi, Nepo, and Hikaru are the top 3. Alireza/Vidit/Prag preforming in the middle. And Gukesh and Abasov near the bottom.
Please do a prediction video
I would love to see The St. Louis Chess Club host an American vs India Tournament, a serious tournament, but maybe more about building camaraderie between the two groups of players. Maybe have a double round robin with 6 top American guys playing two games each against the top 6 Indian guys. Same for the ladies. Lots of great talent and good people on both sides.
The women’s tournament would be totally one sided. The Men’s tournament would be very competitive.
EXCIIIITTTTEEEDDDD!!!!!!!!!
excited for cob too
Was really excited for the event, but unfortunately timing is not at all suitable.
It’s sad to see they still didn’t add increment before move 41
My Prediction:
D Gukesh and Goryachakina are winning
Although Caruana in open section looks strongest as of now
Congratulations. 🎉 Your prediction came true.
@@user-cg7wu5go7u Thank you.
My future prediction: D Gukesh may become next World Chess Champion.
Also, he maybe the next chess GOAT after magnus...
Sagar, But is there a no-draw rule before move-40?
sagar how about interviewing the indian candidates and see how prepared they are and find out about how they feel about the candidates
Pragg and Vaishali are not "the first ever siblings" (5:30) to play in the Candidates Tournaments. Less than two years ago, the sisters Anna and Mariya Muzychuk both played in the 2022 Women's Candidates Tournament.
he meant brother and sister
Timings of the tournament are discussed at 09:03. The match starts from 12 am IST.
Tan and hikaru r my picks❤❤
Its real proud watching after India's Win by Gukesh.D 🙏♥️🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
What an Absurd Time Schedule,I wanted to Follow Every Game but it seems Impossible Now!
Pragg played like a champion today
We want video of best games of candidates if possible
i was waiting for this
So pity that there is no Nodirbek Abdusattorov
True
I mean selection was fair
So pity there is no anish, Wesley, radja, aronian, fischer, anand, kasparov, paul morphy, tal, magnus etc.
😂@@user-lw7cw8rp2s
He should have qualified then. He lost that's why he didn't qualified had he won grand Swiss or world cup he would have qualified
We will win🎉
Fans of vidhit ❤
I feel like Fabi is at his top potential but I cannot deny about the Indian GMS
2 Indian GMs are very young. At the very least, this will be their first of many more. The experience alone is an achievement.
Magnus isn't playing or is he retired
D gukesh aur pragg , best wishes for our Indian chess players
Rooting for Fabi and Vaishali
I want vidit to win, but undoubtedly fabi and hikaru are favourites for sure
More chance to win:
Caruana/neppo in men
Tingie/Gorichikna/Humpy in women
Why Magnus is not there? Can anyone explain
This time atleast one of Indian should get world title ❤
Not for the mens. An AMERICAN is getting the title. Fabi or Naka will win it!
Pragg has the best shot ❤️
Fan meetups?
It's time one Indian player takes this coveted place of V Anand.
Caruana maybe the favorite but the 3 Indians wil create some upsets. Noorul from Montreal
there is big problem in timing, no worries
PLSS can someone reply, when is blitz and rapid championship?and will magnus play in it?
Bro it just happened in Decemeber. Magnus won both world rapid and blitz. It will happen again this year in december. It is usually the last major fide event of every year.
i think pragg/fabi would win it
Spot on, on the possible outcomes. This might be Furouzja’s time, given the way he got in and the experience he had gained from the previous cycle. Pragg and Gukesh may need one more cycle to progress.
Only Pragg has some chance out of 3 Indian candidates, Hikaru and Nepo has best chances among all
No carlsen?
Where is magnus carlsen,,,
Who are here after Gukesh winning FIDE 2024 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Sagar to you which Indian is strongest in the Candidate?
Pragg is strongest ig
But you never know. Totally depends on prep they do.
I propose : Next event the champion should participate in the Candidate Tournament and the top 2 would fight for the championship ... That's more interesting for next FIDE World Championship ... 👍
lets gooooooooooooo🔥🔥🔥🔥
Important question: Will you be streaming the Candidates or going to Toronto to cover it?
8:43-9:05
I rooting for Hikaru 🍍🇺🇲
10 points is 70k Euros and not 35k Euros.
3 from India... Wow
5 from India.
Open:pragg and gukesh
Women's: legendry player koneru humpy and Vaishali
In open vidit as well
@@Rio_arc maybe but he is not In good form compare to other Indians 🇮🇳🇮🇳but will hope one Indian can win candidate
First to the egg 🎉🎉🎉
I have a feeling vidit will show magic
Just a spark will happen
Having a different time control for the women's candidates doesn't make any sense, they should complain about this and refuse to play before it gets fixed.
Alireza❤❤
After 14 rounds
1-Fabi
2-Pragg
3-Hikaru
4-Nepo
5-Alireza
6-Gukesh
7-Vidit
8-Nijat
The only guy who will crumble under pressure is Vidit. Lot of hopes from Gukesh and Pragg.
I really miss Abdusattarov. I think Caruana and Goryachkina will win
charring for vd
alenendra in women section
fabi in open section
Mind says Hikaru Heart says Vidit
mind says Fabi but heart says Hikaru
My prediction
Open: Caruana
Women: Humpy
Agar magnus bhai hote to mazahi aajataa
Thx Sagar. No Nordibek!
I bet hikaru will win this
Do we have any GM or IM from Punjab ? Or Sikh community?
Just one more thing. Regarding visa. We should also start behaving less friendly. I know that sounds a bit negative. But there is no point in acting friendly towards people who take your friendlyness for foolishness.
Looking at the khalistani situation there I feel like Canada is as bad as Pakistan. That's why little concerned about our people's safety...
Gukesh will win
Nta must be banned for harassing me😢
Why is there no Magnus Carlsen in the candidates!!!! Can anyone explain me???
How are we calling Firouzja experienced when he was playing titled tuesday all night during the last candidates? Its the wrong kind and bad experience you don't want to have. 🤣
Unstable and unpredictable , not serious candidate is Firouzja. The only one who can lose vs Abasov, Lol
where is magnus
He decided not to play
Becoz if he played others will quit😂
Oslo, Norway ig
@@plimmmplimmmplimmm oslo is where vidit's gf martha lives...
@@linuxbasic3399 no offence but I couldn't care less
Vidit will win candidates
20days tournament it’s too long
We are missing the best male players, not very interesting this year
@sagar please kindly don’t ask for your prediction and giveaway which u never do in reality before the candidates . Please just enjoy chess and not fool the common people around .
All the giveaways have happened. We spend serious time on this.
Thankyou for your reply. It seems my reason might not be that good so I guess my bad luck. Still I like your commentary and how u make games more entertaining.👍
What's this Sagar? Simply ignoring the fact that there are 3 Indians in Open & by all means we must encourage them or at least feel motivated enough to support & cheer them. Coming from you from such platform discourages audience in general & chess players in particular. It's not acceptable at all. Don't even stream then if you've slightest of doubt in our chess superstars!
I'm from future and win by gukesh
