i’m here because i’ve been using high top skates for a year now and i’m switching over to vnla skates with no break and usually i do a whole hawk circle to stop and i wanna stop without doing that.. but this did help a lot😁
I'd say you should already be a good enough skater to switch directions effortlessly before you attempt to skate backwards on skates that don't have toe stops. So basically, just switch to skating forwards and proceed to stop.
Hi Andrew. That's an understandable concern. It does cause wear on the wheels, but it's a good way for skaters to stop if they don't have toe stops. Also, keeping your ankles tight while dragging is important. Thanks for watching the tutorial!
