Really enjoyed the video from beginning to end! Great pointers for the water-and life too! Seeing this for the first time on UA-cam after 25 years have passed by and was just as good as when I was a youngster watching on tv! God bless you’ll. Really needed to hear that scripture at that very moment. Thanks!
At 70 and a Fly Fishing enthusiast I still thrill to fun of a big Bluegill on a 4 weight Fly Rod I've caught many Bass, Trout, Salmon, Pike, and Muskie, but I enjoyed them no more then finding a spawning bed of Bluegills! What fun!
Looking at trying to do a UA-cam thing whit my future son in-law. If there is any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I've watched you for years and have fished for years. We both love the sport and want to try it. To try and help spread the sport and share the love and fun for it and the outdoors. Thank you for the years of fun and learning. Thank you for what ever you toss are way. Keep up the good work!!
I find the date thing to be incorrect. Where I live the first bluegill spawn is May 10-15. No matter what the water temperature is. No matter what the weather does. If the weather is stable with a warm front setting in at this time. They will bed shallow a full moon will make it more concentrated. If the lake is unusually cold or a cold front comes in the fish will back out, scatter and spawn in deeper water. There is always a second spawn somewhere around the first week in June but it is rarely as good as the first spawn.
I use a $17 micro series by Shakespeare and a $30 500 series Pflueger. Nice little combo great for Panfish/Trout. Less than $50 for my ultra light set up. That 500 series Pflueger can hold 110yds of 10lb braid. It's pretty awesome. I can't see dropping the kind of money on a rod/reel for panfishing these guys are dropping.
Hey, I'm from Huron, South Dakota, and I just want to thank you so much one delivering the gospel at the end of your fishing shows because when people and eternity without Jesus, it is a huge loss. Thank God that you care about sinners. Keep the faith.
THANKS FOR TALKING ABOUT CATCH AND RELEASE over harvest is over harvest lets leave the kids to come that aren't attached to an electronic devise more than whats out there now. I've fished all my life and practiced catch and release 44 years now we're suppose to care about the quarry we pursue not just talk it (not a fan of tournament fishing to much tech. equip.to be doing a weigh in ritual killing lots of fish and relocating territorial fish)
Hunters and anglers alike are realizing finally that keeping or harvesting the largest of the species is a bad thing. It changed the group structure of genetics of a species to be smaller and weaker which is the opposite of what we ultimately want. I've said this for years to my family and friends since I was a kid but nobody listened until the last couple of years realizing its best to take out the weakest or smallest ones to remove their "bad" genetics from the gene pool.
These fish spawn like crazy, there's hundreds or thousands to take the place of any decent sized fish. Basic biology of population dynamics. Healthy habitat is more important than harvest size.
I don't even keep bluegill until they are 9" or bigger. If I filet them any smaller there is nothing left. So the more lbs the better.. And bluegill is the best tasting fish that God made.
I should have read the comments. I don't blame the fisherman, they just want to make a buck, save your time watching this though...…….little info on actual techniques, tips, LARGE on which $250 rod to buy and $2000 trolling motor etc etc
Great info guys..but you have the money and resources to buy all this expensive "stuff"..boats, electronics, rods, reels etc etc etc.. Me and my friends dont have that kind of money that the wealthy Linder Clan and your wealthy friends have..so thanks anyways...oh and, God bless u too. Get back down to the normal everyday people, and maybe we'll watch your videos again. 😨🎣
I LOVE that the older gentleman provided a verse from scripture. God bless yall from texas!!!

You guys lost me when the one called the other one "jare-bear".
They are Canadian bud. It’s a weird.
Remember to bring home the average sized fish and throw back the impressive oversized ones. Your kids will thank you.
Great flick! 🔥🔥🔥clear footage!👍underwater!
A little panfishing, then ending with scripture. Awesome stuff. God bless you and yours!
I fish a lot of lakes in Wisconsin an the size of the pan fish just are not the same as like 13 year's ago I believe also 25 a day is to many
Teach a man to fish, first, put a 100 grand, into it, but will say it's great to know fishing and the word of God is the best life!
I believe in catch and fry.
Whenever I get stumped by bass or stripers, I go get a ultra light and get some pan fish. Always fun
All you need is lots and lots of money.
Love The videos guys . And Love the gospel at the end. U guy's are great!!
Small motor hes says, last i checked a 90 horse boat engine is pretty big.
This video would have been 10 minutes without all the advertising! Crap!

Glad you can afford to pan fish, what bank you fishing from
Good vid.
I love how he puts "panfish" and "monster" in the same sentence. :-) It's all relative.
St.Croix is not cheap bro,not even ice rods.
"I'm not sure Jer Bear, it's a crop dog?"
I just thought it sounded like he was talking to a five year old.
My thoughts exactly...
Lmao " inexpensive rod and reel"
gregoir maybe for them they are! The st croix panfish rod retail is $120 dollars 😂

Hell I use a $17 Walmart special out of my $1600 crestliner boat.
I’m a StCroix snob... The first step is admitting you have a problem 😅

Thanks for the not stop add. Didn’t learn shit except to fish your brand of rod and line.....
Where do you pick those spinners up? Never fished those before.
anywhere, Johnson bettle spin and you can change the soft plastic. Tiny flasher jigs work great too but a little different
lukkyluciano Cool. Thanks. Keep up the good work.
I got mine at Wal-Mart
A little information a whole lot of advertising :(
Show and tell fishing, quit selling!
People gotta make a living
Why did you delete that bluegill on top water show?
Ok i look on st croix site and find no 11’ rod what is the model number please?
did you look at the "panfish series" ?
Possibly the Wild River series.

How many people have a boat and don't know how to fish?

Amen. Well said. We have to protect the resources as outdoorsmen.

Like more than half of this is advertisements.
🥸
Man can we let religions out of fishing for fuck sake.
I'm here for info not to buy shit.
If I catch those fish they will be eaten 😂

Absolutely nowhere in this video does it say you can only fish for bluegills if you have this equipment...SMH
