Terraria 1.4.4 added "No Traps" seed and lied ─ Let's make the pain even worse...

- Terraria 1.4.4 added bunch of seeds, including the Zenith seed. The dreadful Zenith seed ─ Recommended for ages 99 and up and down. If you aren't prepared with the pain, maybe you should try out the easier setting: Like the No Traps seed. The seed creates very safe and trap-less world, 100% true. That's not really fun, right? So let's just multiply the difficulty of finding traps with this texture pack... for some reason.

When I first told my friend about the no traps seed, he actually thought there was going to be no traps.
Then he booted up the world, and let me tell you:
He was both surprised and scared.
I found 11 dart traps in one small portion of a cave the first time I entered this seed. I ended up collecting 26 of them, heading to a regular world, and building a giant stack of 27 dart traps (I had the extra one before entering the No Traps seed). I also found a pressure plate on top of a dart trap. This pressure plate drops a regular boulder AND a bouncy boulder. e
no traps and getfixedboi are the only seeds with heart boulder if im remembering right
Or bouncy boulders pretty sure. The boulder stacks also got in getfixedboi, I think they just toned it down a little so that the poor bastards who try it don't go insane until it's too late to turn back. Also underground house chests have a chance to be rigged with poison or explosives in both seeds

heart boulders exist in celebrationmk10 too. tho it seems they only exist in boulder drop traps in the seed

just simply hold a dart trap or a pressure plate with you and you'll see all the wires that lead to the traps

I have always been inclined to harvest traps and use them in arenas, so, this seed is a gold mine for me. I'm mostly seeing it as part of the zenith seed atm tho, lets just say it's pre hardmode and i have an arena which has a set of six rapidfire dart guns firing 15 shots over 3 1/4 seconds. Eater of worlds doesn't like my arena, it makes him cry. I've also found 5 heart statues :|

@@bobstr6224 Oh, it is. I have a video up here showing me killing skeletron, not using traps, but using rails instead. Zenith seed, really bad armor and so on, no buffs, yet still he dies. Try searching, "terraria 1.4.4 How to cheese skeletron" (I'm not a youtuber, video isnt great, but it does illustrate the idea.) I do moonlord in a similar way on classic, but i've never fought master mode moonlord before. The zenith seed is in fact my first master mode playthrough, and, currently... I am terraforming hell.
@@nyscersul42 oh dude if you havent seen it yet mechdusa is a doozy, once you kill the destroyer part the boss gets way easier but you need to clear a MASSIVE chunk of the world to make it work. Hey at least the rod of discords a 1 in 50 instead of 500 on this seed! Genuinely got it on like my fifth elemental ☠️
@@consumerofbepsi5254 I havent done it yet, but, i do have an arena prepared. It has .... a lot of space. I think it's 250 blocks tall by maybe 375 wide, and it's big enough to make the eater of worlds look small. I am not in a rush to finish hard mode, however, as it's been a long time since i enjoyed a terraria playthrough so much, i've decided to basically take over the entire world with building first, including an extensive rail network of consolidated naturally spawned rails, and massive long safe zones where monster spawns are limited enabling me to traverse anywhere i need safely, despite it being the zenith seed. I am currently terraforming my own slice of hell so when i come to fight the wall of flesh his little caster minions will all drop down out of my spawn range, making the fight easy. I am gonna collect everything from prehardmode first, cos it's fun. I have for example, all minions, all magic weapons including the zapinator and the majority of ranged/melee as well. So, i'm probably not gonna do the wall of flesh for a while.
@@nyscersul42 oh you're gonna want it longer. Maybe around 1500 blocks. The destroyer takes up a comically large amount of room. Also get the rod of discord if you haven't since the destroyer sort of gets dragged behind the head of prime, making it hard to get on top of it and shred it with a dart rifle or other piercing weapon.
I found a No Traps seed where I was exploring the underground and found the Guide standing there. I realized it was because of a King Statue.
In my recent Everything Seed new playthrough, I got this combo of a red-pressure plate + Pigron statue + Wraith statue. My weapon is still a copper shortsword. IT WAS A LOT OF FUN.

@@asra-5180 I wouldn't say that Terraria is a particularly buggy game. Especially if you consider that most bugs are related to new items/mechanics that have been added recently.

Me and my friends actually got trolled in this seed, we had like 500-1k deaths in average, and it's mostly deaths by boulders
