This is fantastic. I love that you can clearly see the player, I feel like a lot of other timelapses are disingenuous because everything is built as if it were a 3D printer
Im not sure if this is what youre getting at, but building like a 3d printer is 100% not cheating. They just have a mod that shows a plan they made in creative. Its not giving them cheats or anything, its just showing them how to build it
I love how you're focusing more on keeping it simply with well thought out block placements rather than adding a lot of empty detailing. It takes guts to stay true to a simpler style, that way you can't hide anything! Keep up the great work
This video and build captures that child-like, peaceful creativity that motivates people to play Minecraft. It's exactly the type of castle we all dreamt of making when we first picked up this game (only way better than most of us ever manage to build lol)
i really love this style of building! its not overly ornate or complex like so many builds nowadays. it embraces the blocky, simple style of minecraft rather than fight it, and looks fantastic!
The title is what got me because I live 30 minutes away from a small town called Castle Valley (Utah). Unfortunately there aren’t any castles there but they have beautiful red rocks towering over the landscape.
I am a Japanese, and I really liked this video. The atmosphere of this castle ruins is what I always wanted to achieve in my builds, but you made it look very easy. I would be glad if you could make a tutorial or just a rough blueprint of this castle. Even some general tips when making something like this would help. I subscribed for your amazing work, thank you from Japan.
Honestly big respect for actually making an interior! Most Timelapse’s I’ve seen just never bother adding an interior which kinda ruins the point of a build in the first place
Amazing build, i love the simplicity of it. No overdone detailing or extreme blockpallet. It feels like a long forgotten castle with dozens of stories. I can imagine the feeling of someone stumbling upon it while exploring the world. Got me inspired to build something like that as well!
This looks so amazing and I really enjoy these masterful gradients. I love watching you build on combination with the calming music in the background. The block pallet ist rather simple, but it keeps the build together so well. Love it.
Really wonderful build! Some things you did here left me feeling really inspired for the castle ruins I'm planning on building on my survival server. Thanks for sharing!
This gives me ruins of an ancient warrior house family where the last son is trying to live up to his families name by visiting the ancestral home vibes
I love the half ruin look, you’ve done a really good job at making it feel lived but recently abandoned. For me it was reminiscent of Harrenhal from Game of Thrones, where the castle is in ruins but is still strategically important and holds a lot of lands and in the story is used as barracks for the army that currently holds it
A really nice build! I would love to see some shots of the interior with the rethinking voxels shader to be honest. I love the idea of the arches going into the valley :)
Wonderful ambience and style especially the internal decorations, your camera work, asides from one or two wall clips is really impressive especially the opening fly in, getting the timing and positioning right for all of this must have been really annoying but the end result is amazing.
In all honesty, my first thought was that this is not a particularly impressive looking build. Given the time you built it in, by hand, and clicking through the video a bit more, I changed my mind though. Great job! It stays true to Minecraft's design, gave me a bit of nostalgia to the early days of the game even.
Honestly wouldn’t mind a tutorial of this, tried to replicate it in my world (but failed hilariously). I love your building style, it’s simple but classy 😎
Looks amazing! You should try world edit its a massive time saver. And another tipp for the replay mod; you can turn off the player name in the render settings.
only gripe is that last floating pillar on the row of archways going away from the castle, from a structural standpoint it would not be able to do that and just looks a bit out of place (ik its minecraft and it's just meant to look cool)
So nice. How'd you plan out making sure you had enough room on the inside for what you needed? Like making sure you had you symmetric stairs and tile, or a large enough library?
@@kohnhead Oh okay I said it wrong. I was saying you must be very experienced at creative building because building these things in about 6 hours not even using worldedit means you didn't hesitate in designing at all. Great job. Honestly want to learn from you.

@@ostdog9385 yeah but id rather watch a timelapse of the actual creation of the building, rather than someone following a schematic
Me lembro o Hotel Transylvania
@@milkevgamingI get ya. But they did still make the schematic. But I do understand the appeal
😢those people just steal maps, delete layer by layer while recording, then reverse the entire thing. Content farms basically

What would they hide? More blocks?

I like that we can see the builder backtrack a few times where it looks like they changed their mind about how they were building something.
I'm glad you all appreciate that haha
What a beautiful castle. Glad i got recommended this. This timelapse made me sad in a way that I'll never get to live somewhere so cozy.
Hahaha thanks! New video coming tomorrow!

One of the best Minecraft castles I've ever scene. The architecture and interior is amazing. 🤯
not only does the build look amazing, the atmosphere and music in the video are absolutely beautiful

First timer viewer here. Fantastic work, it reminds me of a modern Dracula’s castle. Beautiful building and great ideas as well. Thank you!

underrated channel. This build is beautiful
Thank you! It's just the beginning!

Dude thats an awesome build...the whole feel of it is so cool
Haha thank you, thank you
Damn I didn't build anything for a few months now, but this is super inspirational man. Thanks!
You just added a new suscriber to ur list. Had a great and peaceful time watching this video.

Masterful Weathering
Love the style of the building. Simple but gorgeous.
The Castle looks so great!
looks awesome! could you make a scematic for that? i would love to have a castle like that in my survival world!
Very impressive! The bridge was my favorite part
The thumbnail reminds me of Shadow of the colossus, that would be an awesome minecraft build

Haha I appreciate that, thank you!
Beautiful! But it makes me sad to see the bridge being destroyed, make a video where you restore it!
Impressive build for six hours.
Beautiful video and build!
Nice, feels very Shadow of the Colossus.
Looks very nice and clean
Really like the water stains on the walls
Reminds me of Lost Bastille
uhhh! it also reminds me of the shrine of worship from shadow of the colossus. especially the bridge! looks great! :)

Can you build a temple with end stones and a blue roof?
Cool and original 💎

Very cool!
Hey, do you mind sharing the blocks that you used in your gradient?
I believe it was tuff, mossy cobble, cobble, andesite, stone, light gray concrete powder
@@kohnheadgreat, thanks! You’ve inspired me to go back to building, I love your content. My gradients never turn out great lol
haha, I'm glad I can be an inspiration! I've just recently gotten back into building too. You got thisss!@@mompernl
Thats too clean
Shadown of the colossus vibe
This reminds me of Nier Automata so much 😍😍😍😍
Shit I want an action rpg game with the minecraft aesthetic so bad
Would be sick
Потрясающая работа, и отличная подача материала!👍👍👍
А какие тут используются шейдеры?
Important question: where did that huge broken bridge lead to?
impressive!
Very neat
bro made a castle but somehow forgot to make the throne room
Bro took a minute out of his day to comment some useless shit like this
can you make this available for download?

I just wing it lol
@@kohnhead that's talent then. Or your subconscious knows roughly how big buildings should be, 6 vs 9 blocks and such.
@@amandaslough125 haha, I draw the exterior and apply the scale. The rest is off the top of my head. Thanks for the comment! Hope ya stick around!
how did you find the seed?
Where is world download link ❤❤❤😅😅😅
Very, very cool. What are the light grey blocks at the top of the structures? Bottom is stone, then andesite, then..?
Looks like light grey concrete. Maaaaybe wool, but probably concrete.
What is the seed please?
Hermoso... 🥺
What is that seed?
It looks very similar to the game Colossus
You should include a timelapse from your facecam.
Thumbnail kinda of reminds me of Highgarden from GOT
Amazing ! What is the seed for this world? 🎉

Is this available for download? @Kohnhead
Not yet! Theres some more I'd like to do in the area first. There will be one in the future

6 hours to build block by block? How many hours did you dedicate to minecraft building?
Recorded for about 6.5 hours. None of it was built off camera

Thank you! There will be many builds on this one world, so once I get to a checkpoint of sorts, I will most likely do a world download.
Tutorial pls bro.
Seed ?
impressive, btw can i have the shader's name?
Thank you, thank you. Shaders are the Complementary Shaders
