I’m good with both but I do want to use the Bob more just to get that realistic feel
Wong, i am a TKD trainer, funnily you are my teacher, i learn a lot from you, in fact as i am writing this av just given my students a minute rest. 👊👊👊
Both are amazing, I train on both of them
Your style is majestic i had to rewatch to hear wtf you said WOW
Nice kicks! I train Muay Thai but I always appreciate seeing varied methodologies.
100% PURE HONEY BADGER SPIDER MONKEY ACTION!!!!! One of the most impressive workout videos I've seen, you've earned a subscriber!!!!
Good video. I have a Bob xl with arms jacket and an old wavemaster. I found myself doing my self defense and precision training on Bob and reps on wavemaster, too. I like your home drills videos, they give my 9 year old son( red belt in TKD) and I ( purple belt) lots of ideas. Keep them coming. Thank you!
I have both of these in my home gym in addition to the TKD Wavemaster and a bunch of punching bags.
Both are great but i think the BOB is really underrated. It helps me work on closing the distance while striking with realistic combos.
Plus you can put arms on him to make it more challenging. Both are great though🥊✌🏻
I agree with you. Bob is better for technical aspects like landing the head kick etc. And the wavemaster is better for cardio.
I can't kick above my waist anymore so I'm getting the Century. Great video, my former masters Jhoon Rhee and Steve Powell would be proud!
This was super helpful especially with quarantine and me needing to train
Thanks for at really good product review. Your endurance is through the roof!!
They are both even good.
Its the stability
Thank you for taking the time to demonstrate both of these heavy bags. I really appreciate it.
50 kicks? 100? 200?
Rick Harrison voice - "best I can do is 2"
You sold me on the Century WaveMaster bag!
Hello! I am an instructor of Taekwondo in Korea. Nevertheless, I have a lot to learn while watching your video👍.
I will learn many things from now on. Thank you.
I'm Chuck Norris's hybrid clone and I also learned a lot from your video.

I am the reincarnation of Bruce Lee and l learned nothing from these videos.
thumbs up due to your techniques. Outstanding.
Bonjour Alex, très bons exercices que tu présentes, Merci à toi !
If you think modern BobXL hurts when you go barefoot you wanna try old Bob (the black one with the spring) REALLY hurts! As for your review: you need both!
Still can't decide which I like but excellent video. Got everything I needed to figure out which one I will get. Thank you! Impressive skills too ;) God Bless
Offt, I need a lie down after just watching you move! So fast, that was awesome 👌
At home I use my Bob for more technical, and I use my century bags for more power usually
Wow you are a Great kicker... Inspirational..
Just picked up a bob xl yesterday and can’t wait to use it today!! ❤
You go girl!
I came to watch the review, then stayed to watch her train. So cool.
100% I am crazy impressed by her kicking- also I want to get a bag to start working on what she was doing. Looks sooooo hard and fun
Thank you for this very helpful video. I'm definitely going to purchase both of these eventually, but now I know that I need to begin with the WaveMaster XXL as I need to work more on my endurance versus sparring as I just began my path to become a Martial Artist.
BTW, your demonstration was very impressive in terms of power, technique and endurance! I'm truly inspired to become a Martial Artist when I witness individuals with the skills you've mastered.
I honestly think Bob is better for pre teens and adults but the Century is good for all ages, but bob gives you a more realistic view and is in my opinion better.
I'm breathless... 👀👏🏿
That’s impressive workout, makes me wonder how you motivate yourself over the years to keep on going?
Thanks very much for your Work!
Really great video, Alex! Excellently and coherently explained and informative. Thank you for your time making this. BOB for me, for targeting.
Wow! YOU are a beast! Thank you for this review and just..wow!
Damn girl! Get it
Very informative!! Great technique and great analysis!
outstanding review from a professional
great review of the differences in the two bags. Thanks !
Damn she's good!
Wow! Such a great comparison!! Thanks!! That was a killer display of kicks!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great kicks!
I used to have a xxl wavemaster and a regular bob dummy that doesn't have the lower torso, and I sold them.
I currently have a hanging punching bag, but I miss having the xxl wavemaster and the bob dummy, but I might get them one day in the future, and I'll actually get the extra large bob dummy instead of the regular bob dummy.
Great review, thank you for the information!
This was a great comparison video. Good information.
Wanted to get the Bob but now I want both. HAHA! Thanks for the video and being awesome! You are inspiring! :DK
I saw this bird and thought,"she aint hurting anyone" then i saw her crescent kick Bob in the head....
"Yes Sensei!"
Bowing in my bedroom.
The reverse turn kicks were pretty meaty as well. May be named different depending on art form.
Some fast kicks you have. I'm interested in a bag like this exactly for that. High repetition, upping the cardio & no powerhouse kicks or punches. Thanks!
Most of those kicks are a waste of time and energy, the very high side kicks she did would have had the power of a stopped clock.
I am the love child of Chuck Norris and Jackie Chan, so know what I'm talking about.
🗣️ I HAVE SPOKEN !!!
Those XXL free standing Century break easy !!
But definitely a great review 👏
Thank you !!
BEAST!
You are a great Taekwondo Coach I practice all your moves
Lot's of love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳☺️☺️☺️☺️#Anishatkd
Awesome all around.
This video is just what I wanted to know!!
The question is which is more durable for hard punches?
I will by Bob because he looks realistic. And my son has the same opinion. He is in k1 and wing chun kung fu. Tnx for review 👍.
Your kicks look great!
would advise against wearing a ring on your finger unless it´s some really flexible material like rubber. You might damage the finger or could cause a puncture or tear in the bag if the ring is metal.
Thank you Alex for information it was very useful 😀🥋
Wow look at that belt. Could you have embroidered more on the belt?
Lol TKD always makes me laugh
Love the kicking!
You are awesome!!!
Great review!
tanks for the video
Nice kicks
4:15 Ok I'd first like to say that all muggings are bad all the time. That being said, if by any misfortune you ever get mugged one day, I sure hope someone will be there to film that genious mugger take 28 kicks to the face, in 4 seconds flat XD You are Impressive Milady ;)
Your Wavemaster is actually the 2XL Pro version. The XXL ist the older version with a larger base which only consists of two instead of three parts
I am between these two so your the one choosing for me
Thank you for this video!
Thank you
Great video. Very informative. Do you utilize hanging heavy and/or Muay Thai bags any?
I prefer both
Dang... this gal is a dragon slayer!! I wouldn't want to come up against her in a battle!!! Awesome skills!!!
damn u r a beast ! hardwork
Wavemaster for the win.
Can’t wait to get a bob
I prefer the BOB XL 🥋🥊
damn u be kickin it indeed
Depending where you can get a combo Bob and wave master.down fall 1 base for both just letting some know
Which is better 4 Muay Thai?
Wavemaster looks excellent because it is large and cushioning, but it seems like you can not throw all kinds of kicks like you can in bob .....!!! ? Thank you..
Me: Watches Alex' head kicks and speed drills. Throws dobok in river and takes up needle-point.
Lately I had this question: which is better? You solved it with this video clip. Thank you.
Hope all have those. bob and wave is both better it depends on a fighter ☹❤🇵🇭
Looks great now from a mma point you need to practice your boxing do you do grappling?
Do you ever work on power, or do you only care about doing fast light kicks?
Ima just buy both bruh
Wavemaster with a title boxing strike Foe for me
Her feet game is awesome
Nice
Really going to work on that thing... wooden dummy thoughts?
You’re incredibly fast. Where can I get the century wave master ?
Which one is better to begin boxing?
I used both
Hey Alex. I'm overweight (almost 300 lbs) and I looooove taekwondo. However I find it difficult to kick and balance. I tend to focus on technique more than just kicking. What would you recommend I do? I just find it hard to kick.
Going to tell you, because have had the same experience. The weight is affecting your flexibility and balance. Don't know your specifics, but I assure you that losing some of it will help you a bunch. It will also help over the long term on joints and other pain you may end up experiencing.
Although I can't speak from personal experience, I can offer some advice.
1 thing is adding in some yoga, it will help with mobility and balance. Some other things I suggest, doing some basic footwork drills, like bouncing and sliding in a fighting stance forward and back. Having a good base with your fighting stance and good body posture is a start and will eventually help with your kicking. I think if you stay consistent with these things it could help, sometimes you have to start with your base, which is mobility, your fighting stance, and body posture before, during, and after you kick. I hope this helps some!
Lose 200lbs and marvel at the flexibility this will give you, like being able to touch your toes.
prefers BOB XL to practice targeted techniques and targeted attacks.
BOB is great for woking on accuracy and striking while closing the distance
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Have u try bob with arms and legs as well or what
I've worked out on traditional heavy bags ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxp9-sf95nqfjey-uyzxUzQ7m9MXRPK1BE a spherical stuffed "wrecking ball" bag, and now this thing. What I like about it is that it has the heft to stay largely in place so I'm not chasing it around. It's tall enough to allow for headshots and body shots, but it's short enough to give an uppercut somewhere to land. I'm very happy so far. Filling it was a bit of a cluster. For top-offs, I've learned that you can screw the supplied nozzle onto any basic plastic water bottle. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it a week.
