Thank you so much for the beautiful, easy to follow videos! My sister's (S) daughter-in-law (K) lost one of her three turtles after 12 years of care and is heartbroken. I crocheted a much smaller turtle as my very first amigurumi. My sister loved it and asked that I crochet a turtle for K as a memory for her. I decided to search for a pattern that was more realistic in design for her turtle and I stumbled across this series of videos by pure luck. While this is a sea turtle, I used the pattern for the shell portions, head and tail. The legs didn't work for the turtle I needed, so I found another pattern for a dinosaur and adjusted the arm pattern to make the four legs and while they are a bit bigger than I was thinking, they ended up working out perfectly! I'm pleased to say that K's turtle is finally finished, measures 15" from nose to tail tip, and is ready to be shipped to her new home! I would attach a picture of her, but I don't see an option to do so through this app. Thank you again for all your wonderful work!
This is the most perfect turtle pattern! I have sonoma ans sea foam and am very excited to make this. Yay to the Instagram algorithm for showing this, thank you so much!!
I have not watch all the videos but even though looks like a lot of work or tedious it really is beautiful and so far the one that captures really close the look of a sea turtle . Really good work. I might try it in a future
So I did follow the tutorial and it is the most beautiful turtle I have made. I received so many complements even though I made it with different colors. Thanks for these tutorials 🥰👍🏽🙏🏽
yes! I sometimes cut my yarn too soon. It so frustrating! I usually do it when I'm making multiples of the same thing. Id be working from memory because I'm so sure I remember every single row. so I don't double check the pattern and end up forgetting the last row.
the turtle is beautiful but your directions is very confusing since you are giving repeat in same row. you should really give direction for full row without repeat. it's hard to follow.
This is truly the cutest turtle I’ve seen! 😍
Thank you so much!!
❤❤❤You are the best! I have so much fun following you making this! Thank you! ❤❤❤
