That bentley interior design person is one smooth dude man. Damn he was talking like he came straight off of a James Bond set. Nice in depth of the Mulsanne btw TFL!
This guy talks like he's from real high-class background. His voice too is something extraordinary. He looks like he's spent a lot of time mastering how to behave like a upper class businessman. He's not too pushy or too excited. He makes you feel like he isn't really there but he's leading you to where you want to be.
Absolutely beautiful and an amazing car. It's extremely hard to incorporate that extent of detail and still maintain the strict safety standards. For someone who can afford one, I believe they would be satisfied.
The body language and facial expression of the British designer say, "you insufferable Yankee oaf, how much longer must I put up with your buffoonery?"
+wwbdwwbd I'm British and I didn't get that at all, I think you're picking up on something that simply isn't there, maybe you're just not familiar with his/our accent and mannerisms?
Came for the car, stayed for the interview. Honestly that was great lol, both the interviewer and the interior designer. Keep it up guys, top notch stuff.
that interviewer asks a question and then plays around with other things while the bentley guy tries hard to answer the question. so annoying, like a kid
They say don't copy, but if you do, copy from the best. Well I see most functions from the Mercedes Maybach there. But what I can say is, that Mulsanne looks exquisite.
I like the way he's yakking away about the grill and front design and all you see is the American guys large torso. Nice car. I'll have two, thank you.
YES!!! This facelift looks really good and now Bentley's flagship looks like a very nice beautiful car!! Pre-Faced lifted mulsanne looked terribly hideous.
ok, here's how to shoot an interview. 1) if your interviewer's words are going to be in the final cut, mic him up. 2) frame the interviewer out. there is no point having his shoulder obscuring the car. 3) have the interviewee face the interviewer rather than off to the side with his body. 4) put the interviewer right next to the camera so the eyeline of the interviewee is closer to the viewer. 5) bring the camera back so we can actually see the damn car. frame the car right of frame, interviewee left. 6) cutaway wise you should have wide shots at the top of the feature so we can see the car as a whole, not just loads of closeups of lights. 2 minutes in and i still don't know what the car actually looks like
shooting the interior don't just wave the camera around like a barcode scanner or a wet wipe. actually compose a shot, hold it, then find something else.
Magnificent! They slapped the piss out of the other car company's cheap rear seat screen configurations! Widen that deformed headlight placement though!
Still way too many buttons visible on the lower dash, they should be covered up with a panel if not in use. Just leave the digital displays visible. It kind of goes against this designers philosophy of 'only visible when you need it' IMO. Those folding tables in the back though are my favourite interior detail of this car - exquisite! The stone veneering is an interesting and unique touch too. I don't like the new external front-end styling mind, too wide and chiseled, I thought the previous design was much prettier in that department. In fact up until Bentley redesigned the Mulsanne's front-end I thought it was easily the most elegant looking limo on the road.
@2:25 "TOO SAUDI ARABIA".....did you hear him say that?...what was the purpose of saying that?....HE RUINED IT....the old geezer should have just kept his mouth closed and allowed the designer talk....keep those classless UNINTELLIGENT comments under wraps...
The front is so much nicer. Frankly every time I saw a Bentley front grill I thought of chain link fencing. This is spot -on Stunning. An ash tray ?........ how vulgar lol......
Really hate the high sills - I think the floor should be level with the top of the sills in a car like this (such as they used to be in the older Bentley / RR cars) . And the pedals are really like they came from an Audi, and probably did. Again, such a car should have floor mounted pedals like they used to be. But it is a nice car. Just the "niceness" is rather on the surface only.
A 2017 Roll Royce Phantom EWB is rather an "After 5" Luxury Motor Car to be Chauffeur Driven However a 2017 Bentley Mulsanne EWB is an Every Day, All Hours, Luxury Motor Car, to be either Chauffeur Driven, or Self Driven However at my age, I no longer have a driver licence, so my chauffeur has all the fun. London, England, 2016
+Champagne Finest Bro, these cars are built more for the guys who RUN businesses, not having a good job. Find something you love, make a business out of it and work as hard as your body and mind will allow....then work harder. before you know it you can have all the Mulsannes you want (:
Thankfully they have put back on a proper Bentley looking grille. The previous "new" Bentley grilles were totally unrecognisable and had no "stand out in a crowd" value and would pass almost un-noticed. Poor show Bentley, some drivers are choosing to buy older models with the "waterfall" grille over the new ones.
Roman, I hope you gave some heat to the guy who cut your interview like that. You probably did not have someone outside telling them to f%?»$ off for a second... Still, you did a nice interview. Next time, ask to lock the doors. :-)
That bentley interior design person is one smooth dude man. Damn he was talking like he came straight off of a James Bond set. Nice in depth of the Mulsanne btw TFL!

+Matt i like him
I totally I agree
+Matt
He more than likely has a good public school education and is from upper middle class stock.
+Matt No! you are wrong! he is an ordinary Englishman from the North of England.
+Jacque Noir He's from Kirkby in Liverpool :)
I am fortunate to drive a bespoke EWB on a daily basis, absolutely stunning machine!
Absolutely beautiful and an amazing car. It's extremely hard to incorporate that extent of detail and still maintain the strict safety standards. For someone who can afford one, I believe they would be satisfied.
Like the french guy trolling and opening the door
+ImperiaL ZelhiA 聖人 Pardon? lol
But the guy inside does not understand him
The Bentley guy seemed like a cool dude.
+utubeballbag
Certainly. And as the British say; "every inch a gentleman".
+DolleHengst indubitably
I was just thinking that. And his voice made me sleepy.
+utubeballbag Probably worked as Q's assistant on 007 cars. Looks and sounds the part too.
+DolleHengst I've got something 9 inches you can apply that to ;]
The body language and facial expression of the British designer say, "you insufferable Yankee oaf, how much longer must I put up with your buffoonery?"
dang!!!!
exactly. FLC guy could not say the name. No Fuchs given.
+wwbdwwbd I'm British and I didn't get that at all, I think you're picking up on something that simply isn't there, maybe you're just not familiar with his/our accent and mannerisms?
+cobberbrimo they watch too many movies ignore them
+wwbdwwbd And also, get a decent cameraman and editor. Unwatchabale!
What an excellent person to interview for this segment!
Came for the car, stayed for the interview. Honestly that was great lol, both the interviewer and the interior designer.
Keep it up guys, top notch stuff.
The grill looks alot identical to the rolls royce phantom & ghost but it fits the look of the mulsanne.
+Marion Davis it definitely does, but it is still distinct from the Rolls Royce cars
what an amazing car.. nicest car in the world? maybe it is
That was an awkward interview , I like the part where that guy opened the door , and said > WHAT ARE YOU 2 QUEERS DOING BACK THERE .
Omg, the backlights are so dope
Thanks to the designer for sharing all those insights.
Look maaaaa, its shmee 20 years from now. lol
xD
Weird, they look alike.
+No Way You mean still talking a lot and not saying much of what we don't already know?
Fuck, that's truem
not funny at all
Bentley is truly impressive build quality and craftsmanship...
Its amazing the back of the car in such a busy atmosphere its like its own greenroom blocks out the noise and distractions
The English guy looks and speaks so polished and is perfect representation of the car. Love the stone veneer and 330 mph speedo!
+SUPERBOOM777 What is it then ?and what is a face palm ?
+SUPERBOOM777 sorry kilo-meters! in America we use mph .good work facepalmer!!
I like the stone veneer too looks very nice and unique
i think i like all cars brands starts with letter B, they producing good cars.. i.e bentley, buggati, bmw, buick, etc
This is the type of car I would love to own, above all else, if money was not the issue. A true gentleman's motor carriage!
that interviewer asks a question and then plays around with other things while the bentley guy tries hard to answer the question. so annoying, like a kid
Exactly what I thought when he was playing with the ashbin
neihomai8 ! You are absolutely right!
Mulsanne is the most stylish car in the world
I have a Honda accord, and for a fraction of the price, I can sign stuff on the dash.
+TdotSoul And yet somehow... its not really the same. That's like saying "If I crashed into a tree, I too could have a wooden dash!!!"
+Rogue Qall I think you're going to need to elaborate on that one.
They say don't copy, but if you do, copy from the best. Well I see most functions from the Mercedes Maybach there. But what I can say is, that Mulsanne looks exquisite.
beautiful car nicely built good job Bentley
I don't get why car reviewers insist on putting their face in front of the very car they are talking about, it's god awful annoying.
I've ordered a Mulsanne for weekend use, with granite and Italian marble interior for trips to the Trafford Centre.
God, I feel like such a filthy peasant just watching this video.
😂😂
Yesssssss.... quite...
Spook Stomper
Absolutely breathtaking!!!
Absolutely beautiful car, very well done.
You are the interior designer. Let's talk about the exterior design
I like the way he's yakking away about the grill and front design and all you see is the American guys large torso.
Nice car. I'll have two, thank you.
Wow can't wait to see how quickly these will depreciate!
I feel this car is way underrated.. It has way more to offer than a Rolls
How luxury should sound. An upper class British accent.
+McAssassin98 He has a Northern English accent and does not sound posh! plus it is not possible to have an British accent!
Jacque Noir Mate i live in the UK. And yes you can, i was referring to the stereotypical British accent that everyone perceives.
***** There are 3 countries in Britain! you can not sound English Scottish and Welsh! Ergo there is no such thing as a British accent!
Jacque Noir STFU mate you're chatting shit
***** If you were not an immigrant you would know about the history of Britain!
قوه وجميل وفخامة سؤالى ايهما افضل بنتلى مولسان ماجيتك او مولسان سييد ممكن الرد
Beautiful like no other
Good Interview
YES!!! This facelift looks really good and now Bentley's flagship looks like a very nice beautiful car!! Pre-Faced lifted mulsanne looked terribly hideous.
I like the styling! ...adds a few years to the timeliness of our Maybachs (which, we feared, would quickly become dated).
Really shows what great cars bentley makes along with mercedes maybach and rolls
ok, here's how to shoot an interview. 2 minutes in and i still don't know what the car actually looks like
great interview!!
.... I'm sorry I have to go clean up... I've seen to have messed my trousers.... This car is too beautiful!!!
Kudos to you guys for nabbing a designer from Bentley at Geneva. Great vid.
Good video. Can anyone tell me the audio in the title? Thanks
Roman, I didn't like how you kept fidgeting in this video like you were on a sugar rush. I felt bad for the guy you were interviewing.
Wonderful Machine
Why not electrically deploy the rear tables instead of fumbling for hidden buttons? Mr Sielaff?
"I want to be able to sign a signature in a car"." This explains everything about the car.
Bentley came better this time, the new rolls phantom next year will have to be a jaw dropper with the tech.
shooting the interior don't just wave the camera around like a barcode scanner or a wet wipe. actually compose a shot, hold it, then find something else.
nice to be a chief designer and so young.
what an extraordinary car. wow. the ultimate luxury.
That stone veneer looks awesome
Magnificent! They slapped the piss out of the other car company's cheap rear seat screen configurations! Widen that deformed headlight placement though!
Beautiful car!

I really like the stone veneering too, never seen that
Man...amazing car.
Great interview including the cheeky French man.
I like it and the flying spur
Brett is the quintessential English cool gent 😎
anyone knows what camera is used in the video? the quality is just incredible
it's a Sony, we saw glimpses of it through the rear view mirror
Grew up liking Rolls Royces but this car looks pretty nice
I still like the Rolls more but this car is absolutely stunning.
@2:25 "TOO SAUDI ARABIA".....did you hear him say that?...what was the purpose of saying that?....HE RUINED IT....the old geezer should have just kept his mouth closed and allowed the designer talk....keep those classless UNINTELLIGENT comments under wraps...
I know lol idk why he would say something like that
+SenorObama.....A leader of idiots is what he is.
Oh no, what a peasant, filthy American slob who can't even afford a BASIC Bentley Mulsanne, so disgusting
Fast lane guys, have you guys reviewed Tesla? Did I miss that video?
A delightful car and a dogger's delight!
Excellent Car
"Let me see if I can get this to work" Not reassuring for a 400 000$ car haha
A true gentleman machine
Rolls-Royce just called.... they said they want their Phantom design back.
Rolls and Bentley used to belong to the same company
The front is so much nicer. Frankly every time I saw a Bentley front grill I thought of chain link fencing. This is spot -on Stunning. An ash tray ?........ how vulgar lol......
Seriously... who would smoke in a car like that? I can't imagine intentionally destroying such a fine piece of work.
Someone with money and a fine cigar.
+Bobby0345 but no.... Just no!
Really hate the high sills - I think the floor should be level with the top of the sills in a car like this (such as they used to be in the older Bentley / RR cars) . This is where your American accent becomes heavy and funny.
So why should I buy the Mulsanne extended and not the RR Phantom or the Maybach?
My honest opinion is Money, the Maybach is about 200 grand US the Rolls is 500, this will be in the middle of the two
Chinese are looking and trying to reproduce for half price ( copy ), and introduce "emulated" car of their own.
Tru lmao noting every detail so they can go back and get to work reproducing it
the upside down reverse speedometer and tach, why is that so cool to me
A 2017 Roll Royce Phantom EWB is rather an

London, England, 2016
I need this car in my life and God will answer my prayer
+Champagne Finest No, the bank will if you put enough money in it or have enough income and credit.
zlistcelebrity God will bless me with job that I can be able to afford this car so YES!
+Champagne Finest Bro, these cars are built more for the guys who RUN businesses, not having a good job. Find something you love, make a business out of it and work as hard as your body and mind will allow....then work harder. before you know it you can have all the Mulsannes you want (:
as owner of volkswagen audi group it would be nice to have an active roll and say with all of my car brands.
Look at the Grill!!!!!! Damn Mulsanne...
Cant stand seat color choice;;; should be same color as dark stone veneer
That British dudes accent makes him sound like a super villain
amazing
Oh, Jeeves, please restock my humidor back here with twenty Montecristo #2s for the jaunt to Marrakech! Pip, pip!!
you can hold open bottles in cars now?
Looks better than the S-class Maybach edition. The S is too small a car to compete in this category.
this is not true
in ur opinion maybe...
+Paul Stefan The Mercedes Maybach is simply an extended S class with a better an improved interior. This is the true luxury car, along with RR.
+Ridash yet I'd still much rather have the Mercedes Maybach. I guess what you call fake luxury beats the "real" luxury
John Petito You will never have a chance to choose.
+Ridash that is what u think
i would take this over RR Phantom. between this and ghost its a tough 1. Ghost/Mulsanne>Phantom
I like this car it drives good.
Greatest one👍👍👍👍👍
xv vs renegade vs cx-3 vs hr-v vs juke off road?
Thankfully they have put back on a proper Bentley looking grille.

Poor show Bentley, some drivers are choosing to buy older models with the "waterfall" grille over the new ones.
That is what a Bentley should be
price is great for that amount of detailing.
Roman ruins every interview....but it stands out in this one particularly
Roman, I hope you gave some heat to the guy who cut your interview like that. You probably did not have someone outside telling them to f%?»$ off for a second... Still, you did a nice interview. Next time, ask to lock the doors. :-)
Thinking of selling my Maybach for this beauty.
Forgot to put a mic on yourself ? Basic error on audio.
lol @ the guy opening the door mid interview. You know he needs the money.
Bentley guy for president 2016
thank U
True about the screens
