I personally like to talk with my voice hole and breathe with my air holes
Lol!
That sounds like a Rick and morty episode
And listen with my hear hole
Jesus Christ loves you
Same
I had the same issue. I tried 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen at the Apple store and the 2nd Gen fits my ears perfectly. Also, not sure if it was because I didn’t have much time with them but I preferred when spatial audio was off. Glad to find out I don’t need to spend the extra money for these features.
@Duggy Garfield yes you need to ask
@@Kyeorii I’m guessing he asked if he had to ask to try them on
For me the 3rd gens fit best. 2nd gens fit fine but the pros are terrible.
@@Pg-ch5nb I hope that’s me. Pros were horrible. Painful and fell out sitting still. Do the 3’s stay in when changing levels? Stairs, slow jog, walking on uneven ground? Thanks.
And there's the more fun review to be seen, yet another pair of in ear thingies not meant for my weird ears! Thanks Sara for keeping it real and honest.
Seems little odd she is doing a review about a product type she doesn’t want to use in her ears 😂
Sara always bringing the quirky vibes and I love it.
This is the kind of microphone test that I want!!!!!! Thank you for this!
Been here for her energy
I just bought them. I love the 3rd gen better than all of them. But that’s just my opinion. I took a bath three times so far and while listening to them, they stayed secured in my ears. Silicon tips effect my sensitive ears so the 3rd Generation was perfecto 🥰. Also funny when you said “Noise Hole” 😂😂😂
I just got the new AirPods 3rd gen coming from the 1st/2nd gen and while the fit is slightly larger, for me they still sit in my ears fairly comfortably. The only issue I’ve notice is that stem brushes up against my earring. But I love, LOVE, the sound improvements, oh my GOSH‼️‼️ listening to music with stereo sound is 🤯🤯 and the dynamic head tracking when watching movies is just *chefs kiss* and they feel better than AirPods Pro to me, I don’t like the in ear type of earbuds. These are a nice upgrade
100% agree
@@Pg-ch5nb yep
Interesting, I have larger (medium sized) ears and the AirPods 3rd gen fit me really well! Much better than the 1st and second gen. I also love my AirPods pro, they fit very well with the medium tips. I compared the sound to the 3's with the pros, and I don't know if it's because my pros are old and well used, but the 3's sound much better than the pros! I like the 3s for sitting at my desk in my busy household because I can hear everything that's going on without having to use transparency mode (which I am not a fan of). Love the magsafe too! It can stay in a vertical position.
my pros starting sounding worse for wear and after replacing the tips it helped get the audio back to what i loved about my pros
O
I think the biggest factor for fitting AirPods is your ear shape. Ear shaped vary extremely widely. The hole is wider or narrower, more or less ridges, ridge depth, etc.
Definitely I love the 2nd gen. They are comfy and a lot of times I forget that they are in and stays in my ears for hours even when not using it. I can’t keep airpod pro longer. After 2 hours I feel heavy and I feel relieved when I take them off. Hope Apple goes back to 2nd gen style. I don’t care about the stem.
Those peach airpod cases look so nice!!!
I love the 2nd generation AirPods. Can't beat the cheaper price and they feel/sound great!
the gen 3s sounds so much better though
Price point between the Airpods Pro and AirPods 3rd Gen is not that much difference though but I guess it all depends on the person's ear preference too. Very nice review Sara!
I bet that the reason they “cut off the world more” is that it is more essential, without ANC, to be able to fully appreciate the Spatial Audio experience. And I LOVE spatial audio in music, so if that might be their justification, it’d be worth it in my opinion. But I use both Pro (carry around with me everywhere) and Max (intentional listening).
I've never actually seen a person talk themselves out of something so passionately...
Airpods are just so practical. I thought I would rarely use them but I use them all the time
Underrated account. Super good video. But yeah I had the 2s. Loved em. Got the 3s last week. Returned em yesterday cause no matter what they wouldn’t fit. Sucked cause the quality, battery and features were really nice. But fit is most important. Got a new pair of 2s tho. So we vibing. Love the dental floss case more as well. Love the design and fit. Love the sound. 2nd gen everytime.
I’m with you on the second gen AirPods! I still even use my first gen even tho battery life only lasts 10 minutes now. Like you said, “maybe the best thing about it is that the second gen will be cheaper now” 😁 Very interested to see how the 3rd gen sound.
Hopefully the 2’s don’t get discontinued 😭
The 3s sound worse IMO. Theirs more midbass in the 3s but nothing below 70-80 hz. Then the high frequencies are a lot louder so the sound is less balanced. I disagree with her saying the bass is “muddy” on the 2nd gen. To me, the bass is muddy and hollow sounding on the 3rd gen. I prefer the 2nd gen and would buy those again when mine break. Neither sound that great though.
I love my AirPods 3rd Gen. I have bigger ears, so they fit perfectly. The sound is excellent, and since I have a very nice pair of Sony headphones with noise cancellation, I don’t need the Pro model. I may be the wrong person to rate these since I went from EarPods to the AirPods 3 gen in a single jump without trying the other ones. Thanks for your review!
Sara, can you please ALWAYS include a PIP showing your funny reactions whenever you’re doing airpod mic tests? Sincerely, your fans ;)
Thanks for focusing a lot on fit. The AirPods 2 always fell out of my left ear, so I bought the AirPods Pro. They fit well but still gave me discomfort due to the silicone tips. Just bought the 3’s because of your review.
How you finding them now
Love the way my 3rd Gen fit my ears. My 2nd Gen Airpods fell out at the gym more often than I liked to remember.
Let’s run with noise hole from now on! Love it!
I’m keeping my pro’s I actually like having noise control and transparency mode and the best is spatial audio I love them to much
Thanks for your honesty! This was helpful.
I would have loved to see the AirPods 3rd gen with the AirPods Pro form factor but with the tap controls of the 1st gens
Bought first pair of AirPods a few weeks ago - 3rd generation - so far so good, right pod fell out when I removed my face masks when I was outdoors - glad that I noticed and was quick to pick it up - someone walking past and almost stepped on it - decided to get one of those rope holder cable Thingy - waiting for it to arrive before using my AirPods outdoors again
Meanwhile, I’m using Shorkz - it’s great - different from AirPods but suits me well for outdoors
Just got mine yesterday n I love them. Sound so good
Agree with the shape and hold of the new airpods in your ear. I had no issues with my airpods 2 but now with the airpods 3, I find them constantly falling out even with something as simple as bending over to grab something. It’s very frustrating and I’m sure they’ll break soon one they hit the floor enough times…
Everyone saying that they’re always falling out, but for me AirPods 3rd are so comfortable and they don’t fall out
I’m also having that issue. I’m not sure if it’s because I have small ears. But, I agree it’s very frustrating.
Loving my Airpods 3rd Gen so far!
So glad I found someone with small ears reviewing these!! I’m sticking to 2nd gen.
It took me a couple of days to feel comfortable with them. I had to twist them around until they fit in my ear properly and now they're good. I almost returned them on the first day
same
I had to return them as the right one felt like it’s falling off. A feeling i never had with 2 gen ones. Do you have small ears or big ones?
@@junger613 normal size ears I'd say. I still use my 2nd gen ones and they do feel more comfortable than the 3
Ahhh…yes. I’m not the only one w the 3rd Gen not fitting my ears. Just bought them today and I had to give them to my husband and back to my 2nd Gen. But overall, 3rd Gen sound AMAZING!! Highly recommend if you have no issues with other EarPods.
The right ear pod feels a little uncomfortable & requires a little adjustment. The left fits perfectly. I agree Gen 2 are the most comfortable, but the 3s sound pretty good! The Pros are ok for me until it gets warm & then they slip out of my ears. I also don't really like the silicone tip in my ear... pro tip, in noise-canceling mode w/o the tips on actually deliver pretty good sound.
Thanks for the review! Unfortunately my “ear holes” don’t accept the Gen 3’s well either. I knew pretty immediately that they were not likely to work out well for me. When I first put them in, they not only felt “different”, they felt like they weren’t going to stay put very well in my ears. I also preferred the tap controls of the earlier versions as opposed to having to squeeze the stem. I’m often wearing gloves with my earbuds in and it would be a major pain to have to take my glove off in order to be able to feel the right part of the stem to squeeze…without knocking the earbud out of my ear. Not convenient for me. Tried the Beats Studio Buds too. Even with the smallest silicone tip, they wouldn’t stay put very well. But I did like the controls better. I’d accept “press” controls over squeeze any day. Guess I’ll have to try the Beats Fit Pro for a little more $$. If those don’t work out, I’ll probably just have to get AirPods Gen 2. I’ve had 2 sets of the originals and after about a year and a half they just stopped functioning correctly as far as Siri commands and dictation. I think they’re either built to fail or can be triggered to eventually fail through phone updates. Is it just me? Am I tripping?
Nuff said from now on I'll call speaker NOISE HOLE !
ok
Lol
you ear is your noise hole.
You have one of the most enjoyable personalities out of any reviewer. I love your videos. I had the 2nd gen and recently got the 3rd gen. The 3rd gen definitely sound better to my ears. I have larger “ear holes” so they fit me perfectly. I think the comparison is pretty easy at this point:
If you have smaller ears, get the 2nd gen. They sound good and they’re very comfortable.
If you have medium to larger ears, get the 3rd gen. They sound a little better and they’re also very comfortable.
I’ve had my airpods 2 for about a year and I don’t think I will upgrade. She’s so funny and on point I hit like after 30s! Thanks for a great vid.
Definitely getting a subscriber. Love your vibe
So true at first I was uncomfortable with the fit on my ear but now it doesn't feel like that. It's my fourth day with them. Great review by the way.
Really? It’s the second day and I feel okayish but day 1 was bad
I really love your reviews
Never have i been able to find a youtuber who reacts to tech the same way i do
Loved your review, Sara! I have tiny ears too and since I'm a new in this "apple world" product, I'll go with your advise and buy 2nd gen instead of the 3er gen!! Let's see how it goes! Thxs!!
Hi Sara, Just found your channel, Really like the way you review things. Will be watching now Cheers
Sara- have you thought about doing phone cases for merch? I would 100% rock the black one.
Campaigning for your Mom 5 years later? Your dedication is inspiring!
I’ll do anything to get her in office
Hi Sara, just looking at cases for my AirPods and the peachy pods popped up. Just wondering if MagSafe charging is affected by the case? Thanks Gemma xx
Can’t wait for the next version of the Airpod Pros.
I wish they had a ear hole measurement tool that I could print out and check if they're compatible with my ears.
Dude. Just return them if they don't fit
@@captainthruster9484 how do I do that
@@inoxcid5234 idk if ur serious or not, but just look at the return policy from where U got them from then go from there..
Great video! Fun and informative. Regarding fit… no two sets of ears are alike. Different shaped ears! I have small ears too, but the 3’s fit perfectly and the 2’s did not. So… try them out for fit.
first one of her videos over seen and i love her
Im trying to decide between AirPods 3rd gen and the pros. My only issue is that any earbud that has the design that the pro has always falls out of my ear so I’m nervous about that. The little rubber part just constantly falls right out no matter what earbuds I’ve tried. Now I’m not sure about the 3rd gen either tho 😅
When I first got mine, I heard the same “glitchy” feedback while I was listening to a song but after a little while it stopped and it has never happened again
I have the gen 2s and they fit really nice, slightly lose, and falls off when i jump arround. But when i’m walking or running they feel like falling off but they dont. Im looking forward to these airpods 3, they might fit my ears better
I also have small “ear holes” and was worried about the fit of the 3rd gen AirPods in my ears, but can confirm that I’ve gotten used to it and it feels weird going back to the 2nd gen!
Ya I almost returned them but now I’m used to them
Same thing happened to me when I first switched from earbuds to airpods and it felt super weird the first week, than I just got used to it.
How did you get used to them? I feel like my ears must be so tiny. It literally hurts to keep them in too long 😞 I’ve only had them for a few days. I can’t lay down with them in. I basically have to sit up constantly. Oh and I can’t talk with them in, because they sorta half fall out when I do 😬
@@devilsfluffynoodle224 in the 3 rd gen or the first and second one?
@@gto4609 the third gen. 😕
Great review, thank you! I love your hair colour, it looks beautiful on you..Do you know what brand & colour is?
Hey Sara, thanks for your video. I have very small ears (maybe smaller than yours :)) so I'm still not sure what to get. I read that the Pro ones are the least comfortable. What do you think? Thanks for your help :)
Super helpful review! I’ve been wanting to know how these fit in female ears
I love the gen 2 and I love you too Sara x
The disadvantages of using silicon tips if your ear becomes wet or oily it will pop out from your ear easily because if silicon having some oil particles it becomes slippery.
For me the 2nd gen is much exactly fits in my both ear even i heavily shake my head it will not drop 😬
I was thinking about getting the air pod 3rd gen, I currently have the 1st gen air pods and I’m going to stick with these until the 2nd get air pod pros come out.
If i didnt need the pro's noise cancelling, i would buy for the more comfortable fit
Thank you so much I have small ears too and you just saved me with that honest review!
THAT was the first real voice quality test I have ever seen. All others just record directly on their phones over bluetooth which is not what you hear on the side.
I liked the sound, but had the same problem with them as most other earbuds. I have different sized ear canals so on these the left one was too loose and would fall out and the right was so tight it caused irritation. But they do sound good. Might have to try a pair of the new Beats with the interchangeable silicon tips and the wing.
Another thing to add is AirPods 3 obviously go into your ear a little Bit more and have a bigger head creating a bigger seal so they have less audio leak on high levels compared to the gen 2s but that’s not even an issue to begin with because since they go more into the ear you will be using less volume compared to the gen 2s
amazon in my country is selling the pro for 179 and the 3rd gen for the same. which one should i get?
Did you also did a review about the pro? I have also small ears, have now the 2nd genertion
“Shake test” 😂💀💀 you’re hilarious
tbh i always used the corded airpods before when i used to study and i used to lose the corded ones all the time, so i was reluctant to get the air pods. But since i've gotten mine, they're hands down my favorite apple product period AAA+, Phone goes next A- and lastly ipad is a C+ (nothing really special about ipads). Lastly, Airpods since Gen 2 have been water and sweat resistant, i've literally dropped my airpods into the pool and taken them into the sauna after a workout almost daily, they're very sturdy and personally i think the sound they provide is very much quality.
1st ones for me i do love them , always been Samsung but now all apple phone watch and AirPods,, great tech
I ordered the AirPods Pro too yesterday...The right AirPod had the same clicking noise on ANC mode...tried the reset..still same issue...will firmware fix it or should I exchange??
Thanks for sharing! I found myself not using my AirPods 2nd gen very often cause they constantly fall out of me ears. After seeing your review definitely think the 3rd gen will be a better fit!
I love you Sara dietschy ❤️
I was afraid to go to the 3rd gen because of the size to my ears as well and i do have on the second gen on ALL day and it so comfortable. I also thought about the pros but would it be as comfortable to have in in your ears all day as the second gen’s?
I think they updated the Pro case with MagSafe too now.
I am on the fence with buying these. I have had my second gen for almost three years. The battery life... is it better?
Great comparison vid Sara! This is what I was looking for as I could not decide between 3rd Gen and Pro. : )
EDIT: NOICE! 😂
bro so what did u decide? i am in same dilemma lol
I’ve shopped around. I have regular gen 2. Love them. I can hear so I’m aware of my surroundings, they fit great unless I’m jumping or like doing physically intense activities. Pro: fell out with all tips on the couch sitting still. I’m going to try 3’s, but I think the chubbiness might make them not fit my EAR HOLES. 😂.
I enjoy the sound of my airpod 2 and airpod 3 and airpod pro and the anc im actually impressed with . AIRPODS JUST EASILY REMOVE AND STAY FOR ME NO PROBLEM AND SOUND REALLY NICE AS WELL .
My aeropex By afterstoks as well
🇬🇧 I’ve had AirPods 2 for a couple of years and have just bought a second pair of AirPods 2 to use with my Bluetooth Samsung TV. My ears are small inside and after trying AirPods 3 and the pros which I actually found painful I decided to purchase an extra pair of 2s. Comfort must come first for me over all the other features.
So I’m looking to purchase my first pair of AirPods. I love my wired EarPods and value comfort over anything else. I can’t do the silicone tips so the pros are out. Sounds like I should try the 2nd generation and go from there?
Which would you pick out of the 3?
You had me at “noise hole”. 🤣🤣🤣
my right one has a buzz too, going to return them tmrw thanks
I'm so happy that they fit.
The 3rd gen sound holes don’t fit in my listening holes as good either.
Love the shoutout to peralta and Brooklyn 99 with the “noice.”
Sara Dietschy I know that this has nothing to do with Airpods but, I'm looking into buying the Google Pixel 6 as my next phone bc I have the 3 XL. I know that all my pictures and social media would making through but would all my texts be able to transfer or would I have to start over? Also how much does the GP 6 cost. Like what's the price of it?
I love the way the 3rd generation fit in my ears
Where do you get the music for your videos?? What an awesome video!
love u Sara! 💚
These are tempting especially with the longer battery life and the ip rating and price but I just can’t let go of my pros just let the anc and silicone tips just do it for me
Does Airpods 3rd gen have lightning and magsafe both in the same product or only one with magsafe and other one with wired charging?
Thank you for this video! I have very small ears and the gen 3’s would have almost certainly have hurt. What a bummer though.
You checked to make sure it was set to off/normal and not fixed or head tracked ? If you have it set to fixed you get that room sounding thing, same for head tracked. I set my airpods pro to off.
I’d really love to have the peachy pods case for Galaxy Buds!
The first vid that literally describes my experience. I have small ears and the 3rd gen, while the spatial audio is cool, they just feel like there’s more in my ear. So torn on whether to swap to the pros given I’ve always hated in ear earphones… 🤔🤔🤔
I always enjoyed the music quality on regular AirPods and even wired in-ear Apple headphones, but I really can't use an in-ear Headphones without the silicone tips. I can live without sound cancelling, but not without the silicone tips, because they just keep falling from my ears
agreed, i tried my friend’s airpods pro and i gotta admit im impressed with the noise cancelling BUT unfortunately, it gets so uncomfortable after 3 hours of usage, and kinda gave me a headache too
@@aryas6936 Just wondering: i thought he said he cant live without the silicone tips on in-ear airpod (pro), cauze they avoid the airpod falling from his ears: positive. Then u said they gave you a headache after 3 hours usage: negative (uncomfortable)??? What you agree with?🧐
@@linhluong4430 i misread his comments lol sorry, I don't agree with him then. Using the silicone for hours also make my ear itch im just not used to silicone. But speaking of the sound quality, AirPods Pro is the winner
I tried airpods 3 but would not fit my ears so went from gen 1 to 2. Good review
