I’m doing the opposite I got a CR-V cluster for my ‘00 EX and the cluster I got is 20k miles lower
The car is a manual right you have an automatic cluster in it so the cluster that's in the vehicle or that wasn't a vehicle is probably not correct anyway unless it's was a manual conversion the 5-speed CRV clusters fit as well
Papa! You could have swapped the usdm features, green and MPH gauge over and had a custom usdm/cadm cluster 😎

Im doing a engine swap on my 98 civic and the new motor has 94,000 miles and my car originally has 154,000 miles on it

Did this but mine stops at 99 miles and wont continue..

I actley had to do this to roll the Km forward to 440,000 on my civic.

Are CTR clusters tamper proof? I took mine apart and found a shield over the odo miles. I tried to remove it but don’t want to damage the cluster doing so. Is there a way around this?

I think I broke something. Now the miles won’t move. Anything you recommend?
There is a small clip you pop up to move the miles you have to pop it back down in order for the miles to move

Since it's a Canadian cluster, won't it read kilometers instead of miles?
You set your miles, but won't it climb by 1 digit ever 1 kilometer?
Or is that determined by the car's computer?
I mean yeah but the purpose of this video is to show you how to do it incase your cluster broke and you have to replace it

hey my middle gauge suddenly stopped working with the mileage marker, i changed the sensor, connection, transmission and cluster and still nothing

That dont add up tho. You set up a km/h speedo with mp/h lol. It will rack up quick.
on those clusters how come theres 2 milage things. is one kmh and one mph?

Resets the trip mileage counter, idk what it’s actually called but it’s the 4 digit counter under the main miles, I have it in my civic

the red indicator below the RPM gauge is the SRS light which is the Air Bag light

You have to put the clips back
just remember, however, computer will record true miles driven.
