- Chris has almost become one of the main characters on 1000 LB Sisters. Love him or hate him he's really taken control of his weight issues and has always been there for Tammy and Amy. One thing about Chris that's kind of been a mystery is his wife...she never seems to say much at all!
What do you guys think about Chris and his wife? Why do you think she doesn't say anything?
She seems like such a sweet woman, and her and Chris seem to have an awesome relationship. I'm glad she's appeared a lot more this time round 🙂

She came into a family that’s very loud and obnoxious. She does an excellent job of being true to herself and her beliefs. I think she’s awesome ❤
To me she's always felt like the kind of person who has such a good energy they don't need to talk for you to know they're a good and kind person if that makes any sense.

I think this is the loveliest family on reality TV! They are so real they don’t hide who they are they’re not trying to be anything but a good family and I love them Britney is a great kind lady like all of the girls and of course BRITs husband is the best!

I think Brittany is a sweet girl. She’s the quiet shy girl in the outspoken family and I relate to that. 😂 everything we’ve seen she’s always nice, always helpful, and she always sets up when they plan an outing I’ve noticed too. We’ve never seen her be even remotely mean so I think she’s all around a nice girl.
When she speaks she’s very soft spoken in voice, which to me matches her demeanor. She seems very sweet, shy, caring and loving. The glimpses into her and Chris’ relationship and home show a loving home, made with care. I think she’s of old school ways, her husband is head of family but she’s the neck and she doesn’t have to be boisterous. I think this with upbringing in Penecostal church and being shy you get what we see. I think she probably has no problem voicing herself in her marriage or woman of the house just when cameras are on her.

I love Brittany and Chris. They’re my favorite couple on this show lol it feels way more honest than I love you all the time every second of everyday. My husband and me just can’t relate to that, we argue lol sometimes we pick at each other and that’s just realistic! 😂❤
Brittany very clearly stated in one of the episodes that her religion required her to be modest. Which didn't always mean just covering her hair the holding herself accountable for her public behavior on what is perceived to be ladylike and not boisterous and rude with this kind of ironic being in that family. It doesn't mean she's a saint but usually women are a bit more demure. I remember the conversation with Amanda when she was laying out her clothes on the bed explaining to her about the way she dresses and why she didn't leave her hair out.
THEY ARE A BEAUTIFUL COUPLE! AND I RESPECT THEM FOR BOTH STILL WORKING AND LIVING REGULAR LIVES. THAT'S REAL💯
I know mostly it’s because, of her religion and, it’s become a known fact that she pretty much sticks to her Pentecostal religion! But, I remember this season at Chris’s last weigh in Chris told Dr. Smith she wanted to start on her own weight loss journey! She might be overweight but, she’s not near as overweight as everyone in her Hubby’s family!
There is nothing wrong with her beliefs & her hair. I certainly can believe she can never speak much with his family, talking nonstop.

Whatever the reason..it is purely HER decision why or why not. Trying to guess isn't going to give us the real reason. That would only have to come from her. I think she's a great asset to the show and I think she's a beautiful and kind person. 😊

It’s like you guys every just thought maybe she just doesn’t want to? Like why should she have to just because her family is on tv? Maybe she’s just a shy girl and doesn’t want to talk a whole lot on national tv? Why does there need to be a “reason”? The fact she doesn’t want to is a good enough reason.

I know speculation is never great especially about someone's medical life, but she is a bigger girl as am I and my hair is very similar. I always wear a bandana to cover my PCOS male pattern baldness. Nothing really can be done to treat it so ya do whatever you can to feel somewhat better about it :/
Damn, did you come up with enough reasons Britney is quiet. If she has alapecia that's something personal. Let her tell us if she wants. She's just always seems so sweet and some people are just quiet. She might feel overwhelmed being on the xhow and having Amy and Tammy as sister in laws could definitely be overwhelming.

I agree. Brittany is her quiet respectful self but I’m sure when she’s off camera she voices her opinion. I mean come on, she lives with Chris! They make a great couple and we can see how much they love each other but I wish Chris would keep those F bombs to himself. That kind of language is disrespectful to women and especially with his wife being so religious I would think he could control his mouth for her. Love this family
Brittney is such a sweet person. Some people like to listen more they like to speak. She seems to like everyone and helps out with the babies & sisters. She is quieter than her husband & sister n laws. She would be a good friend!!
I like her. She is just a calm person. I think its a good balance in their marriage. I just die of laughter when she giggles with all the family’s craziness
Thankyou for sharing this. I just hope she's ok with it. Low self-esteem can do it too. I just think she's so lovely and unassuming which is a nice change of pace having all that limelight on her Husband and sister in-laws. She also could be dealing with menopause which isn't fun but she seems like she would put on a brave face for the benefit of others. I too lost my younger sister and father 3yrs apart both shockingly and unexpectedly then my mum last august and for me time does not heal when it comes to grief. Bless her you can just tell she has a beautiful soul❤

Being manager and have responsibilities that she has to her family and her staff is probably the best thing to do. Some people are watchers, and some people are talkers.

Some women are just very quiet. Brittany is probably an introvert, shy and barely speaks unless she really needs to. Trust me. I’m a millennial female and I’m very quiet too most of the time in public, the only time I speak much more is when I’m in the privacy of my own home. Don’t expect us quiet girls to be outspoken or outgoing. From an introvert perspective, having social gatherings or even having conversations is extremely exhausting believe it or not. I actually enjoy watching Brittany, she’s definitely the yin to everyone’s (Chris, Tammy and Amy) yang. She’s the stable force in the family.
I like her. Just because she's not as talkative as some, doesn't mean there's something wrong with her!! Shes got a lovely spirit! She's not a main character, so why SHOULD she?!?!
I think it's a combination of things. One reason for sure would be the loss of her sister. I lost one of my brothers 10 years ago and I still drift off sometimes, feeling the pain, missing him. I think she is just a really private person.
I was a Pentecostal all my life has nothing to do with hair or makeup lol I’d say she is just camera shy. I am too. Nothing wrong with that.
I really like her, they seem to have a solid marriage and seem to be very nice people..nothing wrong with being quiet especially when you have a loud family.. lol love them they seem to put the fun in disfunction..

I grew up Pentecostal and just by looking at her I knew she is apostolic. You can’t cut your hair, only wear skirts knee length or longer, no makeup, and yes being on tv would basically be forbidden considering in the religion we weren’t allowed to watch TV. It makes sense more so about her religion.
🤦♀️ FYI most Pentecostal and Apostolic DO NOT have rules like that. I grew up in a Pentecostal Church and now attend an Apostolic Church.
@@mienafriggstad3360 Pentecostals do have those rules, they do not use alcohol or tobacco. They generally don’t watch TV or movies either. Women who are Apostolic Pentecostals also wear long dresses, and they don’t cut their hair or wear makeup.

I have been wondering for so long why she ALWAYS WEARS A THICK HEADBAND! No shade 😅 I just really wanna know 😅 it’s just a bit strange cuz it’s almost like she’s hiding behind the headband so I was wondering if maybe she was suffering from hair loss or some other medical condition like a cyst or something

Brittany is a lovely Christian lady. Her being quiet isn't bad or weird. There is no truth here. She's just shy. Period. And that is ok. This world doesnt know what to do with quiet, moral people. I think she is a doll. Im a Christian and I think she is a great example of a good Christian woman.
Chris and his wife are the best damn part of this show. Chris seems like such a genuinely kind and funny guy, and is the heart of the entire series.
I 100% believe brittneys reason for not talking and i kinda already thought that because ive been dealing with the same type of anxiety since i was a teenager. It probably has nothing to do with being on tv either. Im sure its hard for her in most situations (usually anyone but family for me). She probably wants to say alot and is saying alot in her head but she cant say it outloud. Then when she does actually try to speak she messes it up so bad and is embarressed. Its a type of crippling anxiety really. Kinda like selective mutism. (Wich usually starts young and kids grow out of it). For me i talked alot when i was young and i feel like i annoyed alot of adults with how much i talked. Wich i was very aware of and it messed with me. Even had a teacher in the first grade call me chatty catty and felt so embarressed by it everytime. Then eventually started getting anxiety talking around any adults as a teenager. I would talk to friends fine but the second their parents walked in a room i litterly could not speak anymore. And if i tried the worda didnt come out how i wanted. Now in my 30s im still having a very hard time with it. Brittney reminds me of myself alot when im around people. I soak it all in and want to be apart of the conversation so bad. Im thinking i look so dumb for not talking too but i still cant. It really sucks. Im glad to see she is starting to talk a little more (even sounds practiced wich people like that do have to practice sometimes) it must feel so good to talk. Anyway sorry for the long comment. I can obviously type behind a screen. If only i could talk infront of everyone.

Can I just say that she's allowed to do whatever she wants, regardless of her religion. She's an adult with freewill and a right to decide for herself. If she participates in certain practices or refrains from others, it's her choice and freewill to do so.
I'm a Baptist but I visit other churches of other denominations. Pentecostal people, freewill Baptist, southern Baptist and Holiness are some of the denomination where women usually wear skirts or dresses at all times and don't usually cut their hair. It's a choice for them as well. They practice what is know as separation. It's not about modesty so much as about setting themselves apart so that it's easy to recognize them as a people who practice their faith in a certain way. There's no "not allowed to" involved though. I've never been turned away from these folks with bleach blonde and purple hair, which is my signature color. Tattoos, facial piercings and my own style of dress. These people don't require you to look a certain way. Most people come to that desire to set themselves apart on their own. But it's not required. They live by their own convictions. "not allowed to" is not an accurate or fair statement.

Brittany seems like a nice lady. She and Chris make a handsome couple. I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of her sister 😔. Maybe she stays quiet because she can’t get a word in edgewise being around Chris’ gabby family. Some people have just as much fun observing people’s behavior around the room 😏. Her preference for wearing headbands are her business, whatever the reason may be.
Some people are just quiet. I’m that way especially if I’m in a group of very aggressive talkers. She just sits back and listens. Smart. 😊

I understand her quite well. I am Pentecostal myself I live in South Carolina and we believe the same and I always wondered why they would talk like they do in front of her. They should be ashamed of themselves for saying seven things I say, but I’ve always liked her. I think she’s precious. I would like to see her get that surgery and lose by herself. That would make her feel better to.

I am worried about Amy, she just seems so focused on having a boyfriend. I hope she gets back on a good path with her health and focuses on raising her boys. Being raised somewhat Pentecostal I get the long hair even though I could never grown mine . It just wouldn’t. By somewhat I mean I grew up next door to the church,,, always was great friends with the pastors kids but it just wasn’t my cup of tea. I went to many churches until I married. My husband & his family are Baptists & that worked better for me also. I just honestly assumed that Brittany was religious because of her hair & always wearing dresses or skirts. She is probably easily embarrassed I think ,,, even of herself,,, not that she means to be but a ts just her way to be quiet and still. I respect her very much!!! You go BRITTANY!!! One thing I will say is that when they film at Chris's house, their house is always very neat and clean. She seems very supportive of Chris and his family and seems like a very nice lady.
