The much bigger abuse is that the cop was denied qualified immunity. So the state is appealing that, even though it is clearly established law. It has been dragged out for years. UPDATE: The Judge has set a date for oral arguments in the sheriffs appeal to reinstate the qualified immunity that was stripped from them in the lower court. June 6th is the tentative date. If successful we will then return to the federal district court to set a date for trial. In other words, We are 4 years out and still fighting this thing.....Welcome to the American Legal System.

As many of you know, a federal judge stripped the pasco county sheriffs office of qualified immunity in the case of my illegal arrest in 2018. Rather than accept they were wrong, the sheriffs office exercised a provision of the law that allows law enforcement to immediately appeal the decision on a motion even before the lawsuit has concluded. This has allowed them to delay the lawsuit for yet year. But today is the day. The United States 11th circuit Court of appeals will hear their ridiculous appeal and, if they follow the law, strike it down and let my lawsuit finally continue. It has been 4 years since the pasco county sheriffs office illegally chained me up and threw me in a cage. The despicable way in which they have evaded taking responsibility for their misconduct is indicative of the fundamental problem with policing in America. Law enforcement is tasked with holding citizens accountable for their misdeeds. How can any citizen take law enforcement officers as anything but hypocrites when they (law enforcement) deploy every tactic possible to sidestep accountability for their own crimes. Hopefully today, the court of appeals will send a clear message to officers nation wide. "YOU ARE NOT ABOVE THE LAW. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR MISDEED. YOU WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE."

Prosecutor was trying to do some damage control for the sake of the county and the lawsuit that would follow. A prosecution would help on the lawsuit but seeing it was dropped (i’m sure for lack of probable cause), the lawsuit will be a slam dunk for the rapper. When they pull you over for a. traffic infraction they should not be allowed to dig for other violations unless those violations are right in front of their faces. They should not be allowed to order people out of cars to search for drugs when drugs had nothing to do with the traffic stop.

@@reeferrotrandy458 where I've seen numbers, it's about a 20% drugs found in a K9 search. And that number includes planted drugs. This incident, it was more about getting the passenger out so he could be cuffed for not waiving rights.
The dogs are actually rewarded for and and receive positive reinforcement for any "positive hit". My dog will fake cough or limp for a treat, ridiculously unreliable on the witness stand as well. If they were good old white boys, would have never been pulled over.

I'd actually disagree. Watch enough on this channel and you'd see just how easily it is to stray into violating rights. Policing is not an easy nor a largely sought after job. Those that actually do seek it out should be encouraged to stay at the job, but only if they can continue to show progress in doing the job correctly.

Willing to bet it is a common practice for this prosecutor to pursue charges against nearly any and every piddly shit case brought before him. Reason being, the overwhelming majority are going to be against folks who don't want to fuck with it, impoverished, stressed with a shit ton of things on their plate from work to family/kids to whatever else. People wo have neither the time, money, or energy to fight against wrongful prosecution. Nearly all of these end with the poor citizen taking a plea just to get it behind em. The evidence of a cop lying, of the law clearly not being violated, never comes up. Id be SHOCKED if the prosectuor even reviews actual evidence like cam footage before pursuing it.

Arrest is the tool they use for forcing compliance with unlawful orders. Most people will hand over their ID and move on. The sad thing is, there are rarely consequences for officers that do this. They arrest people and ask questions later.
Notice how the officer phrased it, "I am going to arrest you for resisting". And not for resisting "Arrest". The resisting the officer is talking about is this "boy" having the nerve to not drop his skivvies, bend over, lube up and do as I say. That is the resisting this highly decorated heroic POS is talking about and not the LAW. Its an everyday occasion in America, especially to those police think that don't know there rights. Oh, that color thing, it always comes into play.
Resisting a superior officer is different than resisting arrest. RSO is when you stop any emergency personnel (police, fire, medical, security, etc) from doing their duties with threats and/or violence.

They know that a passenger isn't required to ID if they are not expected of a crime. Arresting him was retaliation for him saying no, and they are also aware they themselves will not face any consequences, which is exactly what happened.

Yeah. They sound as if they're in high school -- and, frankly, don't look much older than that! Maybe they were out practicing traffic stops that night and thought they'd picked an easy target. The fact that they consulted a senior officer who was there and then threw in a narcotics search on top of a stop for a folded up paper license plate tells me they'd been sent out to get some "real experience" and were practicing on two Black men in a nice car.
That really made me mad as hell. I was also pissed off at his Dad for talking. I realize his Dad was just trying to avoid conflict, but still. Literally in this case - they are facing another lawsuit for the sheriff's "Intelligence Department" which identifies people they believe are likely to commit future crimes based on their police record, and actively harass them _and their relatives,_ admitting their goal is to make their lives miserable.

I was surrounded by Clay County Sheriff Officers for simply sitting on a bench. The thugs stood around me for about 20 minutes, mostly just staring at me, and interrigating me about why I don't want to identifiy myself. They ended up leaving with their tails between their legs. This officer should be charged with official oppression! That officer was asked multiple times for his name and badge number and did everything he could to avoid answering this direct question and change the subject! Dismissed charges should be punishable by law with ZERO TOLERANCE to the arresting officer(s). This insane madness must stop! Its getting worse! @@TaylerJDust it is, according to the Freedom of Information Act all public Information must be provided immediately, verbally or in writing. There are exceptions if the government employee believes some of the information is protected. If so they should collect contact info and pass the request on to the proper department.
The officer might not get qualified immunity if it clear case of infringement of constitutional rights. Then it comes out of his pocket.. most times the city pays but always nice when cop has to pay. I would be happy with 100k from officer instead of 250k from the city knowing it comes out of his pocket :)

Having this recorded clearly reveals how officers are ignorant of the state and federal constitution. It would be expected any officer be well versed with the Stop and Identify law in Florida. This was a waste of time for the judge, state prosecutors office and the taxpayers.
That passenger could easily have an outstanding warrant. The officer can ask a passenger to identify themselves. The driver also can be held responsible for aiding and abetting a fugitive if that person is wanted for any crime. The passenger screwed up not the police. Slapping unconstitutional in it doesn’t really do anything.

You know that you're dealing with a bad officer when they refuse to look at a person to acknowledge they are listening or even being spoken to, they always look away or have to respond on the radio.
In 2018, the Sheriff's Office said they reviewed the arrest and concluded the deputies acted appropriately. The state attorney's office tried prosecuting the case but a judge dismissed the charges in November of 2018 and refused to the state's request to reconsider. Now, Roxx and his attorneys at Kwall, Barack, Nadeau are officially suing the sheriff's office.

When I went thru the police academy in FL they specifically asked us if a car is fleeing and they stop and 4 people bail out and run on foot who do you go after. The answer was just the driver.
Sometimes I think the officers know they are wrong, they know the charges will be dismissed, but they just want to flex their power and "punish" someone a little, put them through the humiliation of being arrested, knowing full well the charges will just be dropped. Cops ALWAYS do this, so that their body cams, which are ALWAYS BLOCKED, catch the cop saying, "STOP RESISTING"! That way they "think" (😂😂 OXYMORON!) that they can add an additional charge of "Resisting Arrest" &/or give cops an EXCUSE (NOT Reason!) to use EXTREME &/OR DEADLY FORCE!!!
I see that a lot on these videos: cops narrating, for the video, something is not happening. It's a form of gaslighting. People who have that happening during a police interaction need to be aware of it, challenge it, and call it out for what it is -- so that *their* challenge to the lie is also recorded on the police video. Otherwise, when the video is shown to a jury or a judge or even a D.A., the cop's narration will be planted in the viewer's mind, even though what's happening on-screen may be completely different -- or, worse, undetermined because of low-quality video, making the cop's narration more believable.
What could _possibly_ be the rationale behind ID'ing a _passenger_ of a car in a traffic stop? What's the logic? If these police officers, presumably, don't go to random people on the street asking for their ID, why would they ask it for a _passenger_ of a car, who was not driving? By what logic? Seems to me like a pure power trip by the police officer. He ID's the passenger because he can. Because he loves to exert his authority over people and intimidate them. He gets kicks out of it. His ego gets a boost when he can order people around and show them who's in charge, and what their place in society is. Such police officers shouldn't have a badge.
Officers are not required by law to tell you why they pulled you over, this has been addressed by ATA before. Please know the law before being incendiary
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… why can’t the average citizen use ignorance of the law as an excuse, but when it comes to LEO’s ignorance of the law, they get qualified immunity?
The argument I believe is that their job exposes them to legal situations constantly and that it's not unreasonable for someone to occasionally make mistakes in their job. So given an honest mistake it is reasonable that the officer doesn't face personal liability. I don't really agree with it personally. Otherwise honest mistakes should be allowed for citizens as well. The problem is that it's also not just used for honest mistakes, but as a blanket protection for pretty much everything they do.
@@nic.h it sounds like something that should be applied in rare circumstances rather than a rule across the board. If an officer gets an unusual or hard to make call wrong you give immunity. It's the exception rather than the rule. That would seem more fair wouldn't it?

But a lot of cops lie, retaliate over a bruised ego, or straight up ignore simple law or facts, that have been on the books for decades. You were correct when you said, "they suffer from poor leadership" because in 2018, the Sheriff's Office said they reviewed the arrest and concluded the deputies acted appropriately.
They bank on the discovery of narcotics to justify their trampling of the constitution. Imagine they found drugs and it was someone poor. Very unlikely it would have the same outcome; most likely they’d sit in jail while it worked through court as well…. Which can take years….
The trampling of the constitution is a cost of doing business for the police. They make way more then a lawsuit could ever cover in coerci searches that isn’t warranted and seizing cash, with many people lacking the resources, time or it not being worth the trouble to fight it in court. For every video where the police end up being sued there is bound to be hundreds if not thousands of unwarranted or coerced searches that lead to cash seizure that we will never actually see.
It was sad for me to hear his father’s instinct to submit to the officers demands while his son was standing up for their rights. Clear demonstration of the difference in their ages and past experiences. His father has grown up with the police’s abuse and having to submit to it where his son has grown up in an era in which we are becoming more knowledgeable about our rights and that we can challenge authority. I too commend his ability to remain calm but assertive and Hope he desecrates that department in his civil suit. This is what needs to be done if we’re ever going to clean up American law enforcement.
It is very sad. The father obviously knew police are likely to abuse power. People should definitely fight for their rights. Police need better education. And better systems for identifying individuals who are in violation of a crime. Honestly asking and demanding ID are 2 different things and asking may be ok for some and not ok for others. Police shouldn't be fishing for violations and people should have privacy. Personally, for me, I think everyone should just say who they are, let the police just document I feel that 5 minute interactions are not always adequate time in some situations to see if other crimes are involved. Who knows if someone in the car was carjacking and planning to murder the driver or vice versa. But, again, not at the risk of violating anyone's ability to maintain privacy.

Actually, the deputies were well within their authority to identify the passenger as established in the legal guidelines of the 2020-2021 edition of Florida Criminal Law and Motor Vehicle Manual (see section “Automobiles” and subsection “Treatment of Passengers”. Identifying passengers in the State of Florida is also well established by case law (Bratcher vs State, 1999). The case could have been dismissed based on ANY technicality, not necessarily procedure. I understand that many people who watch this channel are cop-haters, but at least be objective and not cite only portions of a statute - that too is also misleading if not wholly disingenuous. For what it’s worth, as a cop I probably wouldn’t have arrested the passenger as a matter of discretion.
If they don’t like writing tickets then why do they need the passengers name? You don’t need a name to issue a verbal warning. And Pasco county always is looking for a way to arrest people on bs charges they know won’t stick hoping you plead out before they drop charges.

A passenger is not required to give identification in response to that request. However, refusal to provide identification may allow the officer to expand the stop in order to determine whether that passenger or passengers poses a danger to their safety during the traffic stop.

UPDATE: The Judge has set a date for oral arguments in the sheriffs appeal to reinstate the qualified immunity that was stripped from them in the lower court. June 6th is the tentative date. If successful we will then return to the federal district court to set a date for trial.

As many of you know, a federal judge stripped the pasco county sheriffs office of qualified immunity in the case of my illegal arrest in 2018. Rather than accept they were wrong, the sheriffs office exercised a provision of the law that allows law enforcement to immediately appeal the decision on a motion even before the lawsuit has concluded. This has allowed them to delay the lawsuit for yet year. But today is the day. The United States 11th circuit Court of appeals will hear their ridiculous appeal and, if they follow the law, strike it down and let my lawsuit finally continue.
It has been 4 years since the pasco county sheriffs office illegally chained me up and threw me in a cage. The despicable way in which they have evaded taking responsibility for their misconduct is indicative of the fundamental problem with policing in America. Law enforcement is tasked with holding citizens accountable for their misdeeds. How can any citizen take law enforcement officers as anything but hypocrites when they (law enforcement) deploy every tactic possible to sidestep accountability for their own crimes.
Hopefully today, the court of appeals will send a clear message to officers nation wide. "YOU ARE NOT ABOVE THE LAW. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR MISDEED. YOU WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE."

A prosecution would help on the lawsuit but seeing it was dropped (i’m sure for lack of probable cause), the lawsuit will be a slam dunk for the rapper. When they pull you over for a. traffic infraction they should not be allowed to dig for other violations unless those violations are right in front of their faces. They should not be allowed to order people out of cars to search for drugs when drugs had nothing to do with the traffic stop.

This incident, it was more about getting the passenger out so he could be cuffed for not waiving rights.
The dogs are actually rewarded for and and receive positive reinforcement for any "positive hit". My dog will fake cough or limp for a treat, ridiculously unreliable on the witness stand as well.

I'd actually disagree. Watch enough on this channel and you'd see just how easily it is to stray into violating rights. Policing is not an easy nor a largely sought after job. Those that actually do seek it out should be encouraged to stay at the job, but only if they can continue to show progress in doing the job correctly.
I'm so tired of hearing this bs excuse that the officers were just "misinformed" when it comes to basic civil rights violations. Hiding behind their own ignorance of the law cannot be an excuse anymore as its not an excuse for civilians to use.
It allows the officers to be more reckless n create the law as they go n ultimately making them power abusing tyrants. Which then will force the ppl n officers to an inevitable conclusion.
I wonder if it would be helpful in court later if people were to carry some cards that list the 1st, 4th, and 5th amendments along with a brief interpretation, and then people could read them to the cops and then give them the card and tell them, just so you know, you have lost your qualified immunity by knowingly violating my constitutional rights under color of law. I have it on video, so when I sue you personally in court, you will not be able to claim ignorance since you have been informed verbally and in writing of the relevant rights and laws.

It's not just the cops, a state attorney was more than eager to prosecute the case. Good that a clear headed judge threw it out.
Willing to bet it is a common practice for this prosecutor to pursue charges against nearly any and every piddly shit case brought before him. Reason being, the overwhelming majority are going to be against folks who don't want to fuck with it, impoverished, stressed with a shit ton of things on their plate from work to family/kids to whatever else. People wo have neither the time, money, or energy to fight against wrongful prosecution. Nearly all of these end with the poor citizen taking a plea just to get it behind em. The evidence of a cop lying, of the law clearly not being violated, never comes up. Id be SHOCKED if the prosectuor even reviews actual evidence like cam footage before pursuing it.

yea, its only an additional charge to accompany another initial charge. would never hold up in court and his competence would be questioned in cross examination.
Arrest is the tool they use for forcing compliance with unlawful orders. Most people will hand over their ID and move on. The sad thing is, there are rarely consequences for officers that do this. They arrest people and ask questions later.
Notice how the officer phrased it, "I am going to arrest you for resisting". And not for resisting "Arrest". The resisting the officer is talking about is this "boy" having the nerve to not drop his skivvies, bend over, lube up and do as I say. That is the resisting this highly decorated heroic POS is talking about and not the LAW. Its an everyday occasion in America, especially to those police think that don't know there rights. Oh, that color thing, it always comes into play.
Resisting a superior officer is different than resisting arrest. RSO is when you stop any emergency personnel (police, fire, medical, security, etc) from doing their duties with threats and/or violence.

They know that a passenger isn't required to ID if they are not expected of a crime. Arresting him was retaliation for him saying no, and they are also aware they themselves will not face any consequences, which is exactly what happened.

Yeah. They sound as if they're in high school -- and, frankly, don't look much older than that! Maybe they were out practicing traffic stops that night and thought they'd picked an easy target. The fact that they consulted a senior officer who was there and then threw in a narcotics search on top of a stop for a folded up paper license plate tells me they'd been sent out to get some "real experience" and were practicing on two Black men in a nice car.

I was surrounded by Clay County Sheriff Officers for simply sitting on a bench. The thugs stood around me for about 20 minutes, mostly just staring at me, and interrigating me about why I don't want to identifiy myself. They ended up leaving with their tails between their legs. That officer was asked multiple times for his name and badge number and did everything he could to avoid answering this direct question and change the subject! Dismissed charges should be punishable by law with ZERO TOLERANCE to the arresting officer(s). This insane madness must stop! Its getting worse! There are exceptions if the government employee believes some of the information is protected. If so they should collect contact info and pass the request on to the proper department.

A violation of someone’s Constitutional rights - however “nicely” and “politely” done - is still unconstitutional.
That passenger could easily have an outstanding warrant. The officer can ask a passenger to identify themselves. The driver also can be held responsible for aiding and abetting a fugitive if that person is wanted for any crime. The passenger screwed up not the police.

Sometimes I think the officers know they are wrong, they know the charges will be dismissed, but they just want to flex their power and "punish" someone a little, put them through the humiliation of being arrested, knowing full well the charges will just be dropped. Cops who have a pattern of this should be fired.

I see that a lot on these videos: cops narrating, for the video, something is not happening. It's a form of gaslighting. People who have that happening during a police interaction need to be aware of it, challenge it, and call it out for what it is -- so that *their* challenge to the lie is also recorded on the police video. Otherwise, when the video is shown to a jury or a judge or even a D.A., the cop's narration will be planted in the viewer's mind, even though what's happening on-screen may be completely different -- or, worse, undetermined because of low-quality video, making the cop's narration more believable.

What could _possibly_ be the rationale behind ID'ing a _passenger_ of a car in a traffic stop? What's the logic? If these police officers, presumably, don't go to random people on the street asking for their ID, why would they ask it for a _passenger_ of a car, who was not driving? By what logic?
Seems to me like a pure power trip by the police officer. He ID's the passenger because he can. Because he loves to exert his authority over people and intimidate them. He gets kicks out of it. His ego gets a boost when he can order people around and show them who's in charge, and what their place in society is.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… why can’t the average citizen use ignorance of the law as an excuse, but when it comes to LEO’s ignorance of the law, they get qualified immunity?
The argument I believe is that their job exposes them to legal situations constantly and that it's not unreasonable for someone to occasionally make mistakes in their job. So given an honest mistake it is reasonable that the officer doesn't face personal liability.
I don't really agree with it personally. Otherwise honest mistakes should be allowed for citizens as well.
The problem is that it's also not just used for honest mistakes, but as a blanket protection for pretty much everything they do.

You were correct when you said, "they suffer from poor leadership" because in 2018, the Sheriff's Office said they reviewed the arrest and concluded the deputies acted appropriately.
Checking the vehicle for narcotics was a complete abuse of power and clearly only out of revenge. Unacceptable officers can do this
They bank on the discovery of narcotics to justify their trampling of the constitution.
Imagine they found drugs and it was someone poor.
Very unlikely it would have the same outcome; most likely they’d sit in jail while it worked through court as well…. Which can take years….
The trampling of the constitution is a cost of doing business for the police.
They make way more then a lawsuit could ever cover in coerci searches that isn’t warranted and seizing cash, with many people lacking the resources, time or it not being worth the trouble to fight it in court.
For every video where the police end up being sued there is bound to be hundreds if not thousands of unwarranted or coerced searches that lead to cash seizure that we will never actually see.
It was sad for me to hear his father’s instinct to submit to the officers demands while his son was standing up for their rights. Clear demonstration of the difference in their ages and past experiences. His father has grown up with the police’s abuse and having to submit to it where his son has grown up in an era in which we are becoming more knowledgeable about our rights and that we can challenge authority.
I too commend his ability to remain calm but assertive and Hope he desecrates that department in his civil suit. This is what needs to be done if we’re ever going to clean up American law enforcement.
It is very sad. The father obviously knew police are likely to abuse power. People should definitely fight for their rights. Police need better education. And better systems for identifying individuals who are in violation of a crime. Honestly asking and demanding ID are 2 different things and asking may be ok for some and not ok for others. Police shouldn't be fishing for violations and people should have privacy. Personally, for me, I think everyone should just say who they are, let the police just document I feel that 5 minute interactions are not always adequate time in some situations to see if other crimes are involved. Who knows if someone in the car was carjacking and planning to murder the driver or vice versa. But, again, not at the risk of violating anyone's ability to maintain privacy.

Comment sections under most videos featuring a person of colour, is a testament to the the state of affairs in many parts of the US. With that stated, none of it is representative of the whole. Of note, is this incessant need to affiliate absolutely every action with political ideology. The US is imploding and is primed for outside invasions.

This is just a mentality that’s been taught to us by our parents and their parents cuz there wasn’t any response that ended well in these situations besides give up and hope they don’t ruin or end your life. And we didn’t need the media to tell us that stuff, black ppl have been living it and already know it. The fact that my parents were breathing during the civil rights movement is enough to know that it hasn’t been long enough for that mentality to change and I’m only 20 soon to hit 21. Just talking with my great grandma who was born in 1908 before she passed in 2013 was enough for 12 year old me to understand that.

And AtA gets an A+ again, for factually explaining each unlawful order and objectively discussing the assertions of both parties involved in the interaction. It was inciteful (as always) and filled with case law, state law and without prejudice. For these reasons and many others, I commend AtA for their diligence and calm, professional demeanour and their vast knowledge of the laws in question and the many hours of research that I'm sure it takes to keep their videos up to the original standard that was set when the channel started. I wouldn't say "factually". Actually, the deputies were well within their authority to identify the passenger as established in the legal guidelines of the 2020-2021 edition of Florida Criminal Law and Motor Vehicle Manual (see section “Automobiles” and subsection “Treatment of Passengers”. Identifying passengers in the State of Florida is also well established by case law (Bratcher vs State, 1999). The case could have been dismissed based on ANY technicality, not necessarily procedure. I understand that many people who watch this channel are cop-haters, but at least be objective and not cite only portions of a statute - that too is also misleading if not wholly disingenuous. For what it’s worth, as a cop I probably wouldn’t have arrested the passenger as a matter of discretion.

If they don’t like writing tickets then why do they need the passengers name? You don’t need a name to issue a verbal warning. And Pasco county always is looking for a way to arrest people on bs charges they know won’t stick hoping you plead out before they drop charges.

The issue is having humans behind the badge. It can’t be helped but humans have flaws to varying degrees. It does need an overhaul but it should start by evaluating their emotional state. Humans are very easy to emotionally manipulate. Cops should be trained to prevent that. Other times, they lack sympathy. There’s just a lot of problems with cops and it starts with the top

The fact that the charges were dismissed over the objections of the prosecution is a little scary. That means the prosecution was perfectly willing to prosecute an innocent person, either by ignorance or outright racism.

You hit the nail on the head. You have to identify not them.
Just being able to arrest someone on the basis of false assertions, or plausibly deniable misconduct (where a cop just wants to arrest a person and therefore pieces together reasons that are weak but pieced together “in good faith”), seems like too much power and too little consequences for wrongdoing. I hate that it has taken me 36 years of ignorance about this stuff, until it happened to me, in order for me to dedicate the rest of my life gathering ammunition against similar cops.
They need greatly reduced arrest powers. They have too much discretion.
@@valentinius62 They need to be held accountable when they make a "mistake" like in this video. There needs to be serious consequences. They're supposed to be experts of the "law" otherwise they shouldn't be out there "enforcing" it right? If they make a mistake they should be held to a higher standard than normal people. They should have a good understanding of what the law is because they're the ones out there enforcing it. The consequences should be so high that they would be sure not to violate the law and other people's rights.

@@christiandruan There's too many laws for any one person to really know. Legislators give them the power of arrest on most of them. At any rate, the legal system will always tend to back them up, not us. The State doesn't like to be wrong...that is bad policy in their minds. They rely on the myth of the infallibility of the State to keep their positions and their power.
You're not alone. So many people have spent years being brainwashed into believing that cops are all officer friendly especially if you're not part of a minority group. Many people need to have a bad experience for it to happen.

A passenger is not required to give identification in response to that request. However, refusal to provide identification may allow the officer to expand the stop in order to determine whether that passenger or passengers poses a danger to their safety during the traffic stop.

This is just another example of driving while black, I've been pulled over multiple times both as a driver and passenger, never once has a cop asked for the ID of a passenger

The dad probably came up during the civil rights period and seen and experienced the corruption of law enforcement against his people so hes probably scarred by that. No excuse now tho.

Agree, and that generation didn't have cell phone cameras growing up. I've overheard it said several times by LEOs. The one thing they fear more than a guy with a gun, is a guy with a video camera.
These cops need fired. I remember seeing this on Lackluster a while back. Hopefully he ends up getting them good in the law suit.
