- A note from the Band: "We filmed this documentary during the spring of 2012. It is meant to be an intimate and sometimes painful look into our journey of great success, yet even greater struggles. Some of the footage is tough for us to watch at this point, but we believe that this chapter was an important part of the bigger story that is still being written. Much has happened since then, and 2013 has been a year of healing and transformation. We're proud to say that we are getting back to what brought us together in the first place, and the new record is a celebration of that. We can't wait for you to hear it."

anybody listening in 2020 after Bo left and before Out Of Body releases?
Every time Bear sings, I just shake my head in amazement at how powerful that voice is.
Same here!!! I was just saying this very same thing to my best friend while playing the intro to the docu. for him (for about the 10th time, lol). So very mighty and powerful his voice is. His voice sounds like it could cut through glass. Now I'll be singing this intro around the house all night, as powerfully as possible, and that's fine by me (let's just hope that the neighbors are cool with it, lol). : )
Everybody talking about Bear and Bo as their favorite but Seth is great look at his hair and he does bass and drums and ukulele. Don’t underestimate him
I've been listening to these guys since the "Daylight" album. I've been to at least 12 shows, and worked their merchandise booth a few times. I got to meet them and hang out with them a few times, and I can say that they are the most genuinely nice, down-to-earth people I've ever met. They really appreciate all their fans and they love what they do. They're incredible musicians and humans. Their music has gotten me through some of the hardest times of my life. I can't say enough how much I love this band!!!

Listening to the part starting about 11:00 where Bear and Bo sing More Time together, and today is the day the band announced Bo is leaving😞 This has to be rough on them as brothers parting ways in their career paths

If the initial reaction is what you thrive on, as you mentioned, 941 views on an unlisted UA-cam video... you guys killed it. Each of my 4 Needtobreathe shows has made me love you guys more, because of how much effort and emotion is poured out on stage. Your music is something that connects my wife and I, and even transcends our relationship because we listened to your music and went to your shows before we were even together. And more important than that, gives me, and us, a strong connection to God. So thank you guys, because your work is way more than just music, and I can't wait to shut myself in a room from April 15th to April 17th (at least) and just submerge in Needtobreathe.

I love how you stay true to yourselves, write your own music, love The Lord, love your fans and how you love each other. I am so blessed by your music. Just watched this with my 14 month old son, Bear. He LOVES your music (I listened to your CDs every time I was in the car when I was pregnant with him! Haha!), and he was mesmerized watching this! ***** will always have a special place in our hearts. We have tickets to see you in Kansas City in May! Can't wait! Keep up the good work.
So I've listened to their radio hits over the years and enjoyed their music- especially Signature of the Divine; but I feel like I'm just really learning about Needtobreathe and I absolutely love them!!! New favorite band and I get to see them perform live in St. Louis this Saturday!!
Laughed and cried through this. Its beautiful, its family and its real. I'm thankful that you guys gave a significant amount of time addressing the tensions within the band. It makes you more personable as a band, and I think everyone can relate to being in conflict with their closest friends and family. That aside, Loved the snippets of acoustic versions of my favourite songs. There were times where I was transported back to watching you guys live and just the memories from that. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.

Sometimes all the fame gets in the way of what is truly important to people but y'all have remained true to yourselves and that is what is truly amazing. I saw you in Dallas this year and I am still on cloud 9. It was almost a dream come true when my fiancée surprised me with the tickets! What an incredibly vulnerable and amazing story you've opened us all up to. I can tell you that those you love and serve next to are on equal parts your nerves and tip of your tongue when you mention those who matter most to you. It's hard to understand if you haven't been there, but us working in the church get it. The music, the message, the truth - is costly. Great art comes from great struggle and cost. Thank you for being the artists who the pay the cost to create excellence. Much to love you and all of your team.

Such an amazing tour, got to see The Reckoning Tour at The Wellmont Theatre in Monclair, NJ on 9/28/12. Love love love this documentary, thank you for your honesty, so refreshing. I think it's awesome that you guys stay true to your roots and who you are and always keep God first. You are all incredibly inspirational, especially to young Christians. I like how you included your fighting scenes. It exposes your flaws and shows the sacrifice you put in for your work and is actually humbling. I've seen NEEDTOBREATHE in Ocala, Gainesville, and Jacksonville, and every time I'm blown away. NEEDTOBREATHE is one of those rare, amazing bands that is even more awesome live!
I love the 'harder road' you guys chose to take. This film is a great look at some of the iron sharpening iron that the harder road necessitates, but the more refined artwork that it produces is very evident in your music. Truly excellent on so many levels!

I am a gigantic fan... I have been chading their tour/appearances for over 5 years and they would always elude me. I even begged my husband to drive me 3hrs away to a concert in Alabama when I was within 1week of our expected delivery date of our first child (she loves you too!). I finLly had a chance at the 2013 Alive Fest in Ohio last summer (we drove 7-8 hours for that). Well our sweet (potty-training) little lady had an "accident" while they were playing white fences and my husband had just ran down to the front... very sad! Anyway, I got to see some and hear those beautiful melodies I know so well as we walked/shuttled about a mile back our campsite and honestly, I didn't even get upset; I was just so grateful to have gotten there... I Love You Guys. May God bless you guys with peace in your personal lives and collectively as a group.

I have a whole new perspective... the sibling rivalry is prevalent, but the love is more potent. The struggle is assailing, but the will of the Lord perseveres. You guys were already my favorite band, but my admiration just drew deeper with this documentary. If I had to tell you why, I would say it's because I've been enlightened as to how hard you lot work not only to please the fans, but to unleash and convey your hearts and minds through music. Seth hit the nail on the head when he said "it isn't a job, it's a cause"
ps when I last saw you live, the integration of Johnny Cash was absolutely brilliant, it was something that made me think "I'm not watching a performance, I'm watching artistry."

I am proud to say I have been a fan since 2006. I have watched these boys go from boys to men. And with each CD I become more amazed by their hearts and talents. It's a hard business and they have gave it their all. I'll never understand why they aren't all over the charts but I still think that day is going to come. Great documentary I'm glad as a fan out in the crowd I was somehow part of it. You have come a long ways from duct taping the truck to get to the next city. Miss you Joe and God Bless you all.

My husband and I saw you guys open for Train in Council Bluffs/Omaha. Your show was amazing, but you were also restrained, for lack of a better word. (Which make sense, as an opening band.) But we couldn't wait to see you guys headlining your own tour, we knew it would be awesome. The Reckoning tour was absolutely INCREDIBLE, seeing your creativity unleashed was SO SATISFYING. We also enjoy that you have played in so many General Admission venues (allowing us to wait hours to be in the front row each time, SO WORTH IT!) Our favorite parts are always the same: Bo's CRAZY dancing, Bear dripping sweat as his soul pours out through the music you're making, and Seth's HUGE smile when he looks out at the crowd - it all shows us you love what you are doing. Thank you for fighting for it and being in love with it - it makes all the difference.
I can't imagine how hard it must be for you and your families (and your crew's families) when you are on the road. So I want to say, to your families, thank you for your sacrifice, for allowing NEEDTOBREATHE to make music and share it with us.
I am in love with your music, but I know you won't make music forever (at least not music for concert tours). But when the time comes for NEEDTOBREATHE to no longer exist as a band, let it be a unanimous decision that is entered into joyfully, a bittersweet celebration of all that you have accomplished and learned and taught. That is the only thing I think you owe your fans. Every song is a gift, we have no right to demand any more from you - but when the time comes, let us remember you well.

I would like this video a million times if it let me. I love these guys, and love this look into their lives. Mad Props to Eric Ryan Anderson for this incredible documentary. I cannot wait for the new album! I pre-ordered it back in March and I want to go ahead and pre-order the next 10 albums after it. Joe is certainly missed, but I am so thankful for Bo, Bear and Seth moving through the adversity, and continuing to create the best music that I have ever listened too!

My heart ached and sung watching this - what you clearly wanted us to feel! Thanks for sharing this. I went to your Columbia, SC concert with my Daughter, an avid fan, this fall after not having been to any concert in years. When the band hit the first note it flet like the eartth shook an I stood the entire concert. Found out having a seat really meant a place to stand. What an experience I look forward to many more concerts .

Sharing your faith in a such a way that it glorifies God is a gift ya'll have been given along with your incredible talent in music. I was at the House Of Blues show in Boston and also went to the Stomping Ground Tour this past september and they were two of the best concerts i have ever been to and can deffinatley say i will be going again every opportunity i have. The Documentary was a really courageous thing to do and you guys did it well . Cant wait for April :)
