This is really beautiful. Mr. Mayes seems close to tears in sentiment after the first song. Quite touching. A couple of long time buskers getting their kicks.
I used to see Rusty in a club just off Dale Street Liverpool, But I can only recall one song they sang; "Neil Young's "Dance, Dance, Dance". I, also, used to see/hear Allan at the El Tonel Southport, He was one hell of a great singer, and his guitar accompaniments were great, too.
Temple Bar! Of course, if I remember correctly, "Rusty" to to play there every other week, and the "in between" weeks were run my Liverpool bluesman Raphael Callaghan. Ah, memories.
Very enjoyable. Good to see the warmth from EC.

Hello
Antone remember Alan from his amazing Monday night acoustic sets at El Tonel Southport? I have his single Maureen and Sam somewhere.
For a while, I was the "music interlude" for Harold Hikins' poetry evenings back in the 1970s.
Get well soon!
Anyone know the name of the 2nd song they play?
