- Steve Nieve is an English musician and composer. In a career spanning more than 40 years, Nieve has been a member of Elvis Costello and the Attractions, the Imposters and Madness. He has also experienced success as a prolific session musician, featured on a wide array of other artists' recordings.
During an intimate filming session at his home in France filmmaker Thomas Greader questions Steve on how he has forged such a successful career and make music his life.

Steve, it's so nice to hear your voice talking about making music and forging new friendships. Always loved your work as a "sideman" (Hahahah), you truly fleshed out E.C.'s songs so brilliantly that it's hard to imagine what those songs would sound like without you. Incidentally, I had the pleasure to meet you on Christmas at the backstage bar upstairs in the Rainbow Theater, Xmas eve, 1981 or 82). I'd just arrived in London and snuck backstage after the show. You and the other Attractions were very nice to me (I was only 19) and pulled out a barstool for me and offered me a drink! All of you ( and your significant others) were very cool about it! Good to see you so well and healthy after all these years! Cheers to you, Steve!
