Absolute GOLD! I make shawls for the cancer unit here in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I have already used some of these patterns, but I will make them again. All of them are absolutely gorgeous so picking a favorite one is not easy but if I have to pick one I would have to say the Dolce Eleganza Abbracciate. Thank you so much for all you do! 🧡🤎🧡🤎🧡🤎💯💥
I love the idea of donating shawls for a local cancer unit. Can you please tell me, Cheryl, are there any yarn weights/brands/fibers that you you prefer for the ones which you make? Thanks! Hugs
@@LadyValkyri I ususally use the weight called for in the pattern. I try to stay with washable and dryable acrylic (because of allergies). I like to use Caron simply soft a lot. But I use others as well. it's a lighter 4 weight and is really soft.
They are all beautiful. My favorite is Sweet Innocence. It absolutely a beautiful classy looking shawl perfect for a wedding. But love all your shawls the are all beautiful.
I had just commented about UA-cam unsubscribing people. I've been a subscriber to you since 2020, but when I just checked, I wasn't subscribed 😢😢 Anyway, thanks for the reminder and showcasing these. Shawls are my go to make. ❤
My favorite is the Luv of My Life shawl. It is not triangular or rectangular. I guess you would call it semicircular which is my favorite shape. I made several with a little heavier weight. It worked well. I left off the tassels. Used shades of lavender. It’s a great size. All the ones you showed are lovely too. You are so creative. Luv your tutorials. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and skill.
Many thanks for all you do. Although crocheting for decades, I could never reason through a pattern. Your tutorials fix my shortfalls, as you make beautiful easy to do. Blessings!
My favourite shawl ( and one that I've made at least a dozen times now) is the "love of my life" shawl. It's just so fantastic. I made it in 50%cotton/50%merino and it flows beautifully, drapes luxuriously and works up quickly. Thank you again for that tutorial, Crystal
You're so right to say about yarns that "They always get rid of the good ones." Or if they don't get rid of the yarn line itself, they eliminate it in a color or colorway that we loved. The longer I live, the more frustrating this gets - because by now I've seen a lot of them come and go, lol! Anyway, I love your channel and I love these shawls, thank you!
So please do a tutorial for your Favorite shawl you've ever made! We all want to be like you when 🚾 grow up! So we need that tutorial! Lol...my favorite was not up there but I love the Speed of Light! I think I've made about six of them. I give one away and somebody sees it and they want one too! I think I counted 4 out of your favorite ten. My favorite one of them was the Pure Innocence . I made it out of Michael's Soft & Shiny in Pearly White it was a wedding shawl and worked up so beautifully.
These are all so pretty, and thank you for the links to your patterns. I am like a lot of your followers in that I crochet for charity. Your patterns give me lots of options to choose from. I do like the various virus patterns...and when they are given as gifts people are always gobsmacked at how pretty they are. (Especially non-crocheter/knitters...it's like magic). You are truly a gift from the Universe to us crocheters out here. Thanks for sharing your talent.
My favorite is the Pure Innocence shawl. Since it is a solid white, it really shows off the pretty stitch pattern, and who doesn't like white, it goes with anything!
Hi Crystal. I bought your Easy Crochet Hood from ETSY thiws evening. Making them for my granddaughter's for Christmas. Thank you for as very easy pattern for my R.A fingers. But I love all your patterns & tutorials. Luv you all!!
I love all your shawls , and i've dont alot of them and each time i make one i always said it's my favourites but OLIVE BRANCH SHAWL and EMPTY SPACES my favourites🤩😇🥰😍, each time i made one for myself , someones takes it from me, i love making it and its glamorous . Thank you Crystal❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love your lives by the way, love how it feels like we’re all just sitting down chatting together. Love the silly jokes cracked, the giggles, the dogs barking, the cozy fireplace in the background, all of it. Thank you for being you, it’s a joy getting to know you crystal❤️ & thank you for helping me grow my relationship with crocheting, it’s all thanks to you that I was able to grow confident enough to start my own crochet shop and help support my family! Love, Jordyn (whimsical crochet on Etsy)
Hi Crystal my favourite shawl of yours that I fell in love with and was the first thing I ever crocheted having never even picked up a crochet hook in my life, is Number 1 on your list. Its stunning. Its beautiful, so so feminine. Black is the perfect choice. I made my first one in oatmeal cotton that has a sparkle in it. I have since made it in pale blue sparkle cotton, lime green sparkle cotton and fuchsia cotton yarn. These were all orders from nurses in our local hospital as I spend weeks at a time recovering from septicaemia and low blood pressure having a very compromised immune system. So of course once I start recovering and moved from CCU to the ward I get bored so my son brings in my crochet to do. I also made the virus shawl and the red tomato wrap(not sure what the name is). Thank you so much Crystal you are my crochet angel. Mat xxxx
You are so close to 1 million girrrrl!!! I am still trying to catch up on watching your tutorials, it may take me some time but I will do it. I have only made a couple of your shawls. Actually have two more WIPs for Christmas gifts. Really wanna try out the Bobbles Run … Gosh I don’t think I could pick a fave. When I am making special gifts like these, I tend to think about all the wonderful things I love about the individual I am crocheting for. And I pray for them continually and I think about all the moments shared with them, so it truly is a special gift from my heart. Of course, they most likely will never know what it means to me. But wether it be a scarf, shawl etc …it’s my way of wrapping them with my love when I can’t be there to hug them in person. Maybe one day when I am gone, they might feel that hug. You are such an inspiration lady. Hugs Crystal. ❤
My very FAVORITE shawl is your PETUNIA SHAWL. I love it because of the gorgeous stitch, and that the topline is crescent -shaped so it stays up. I have made it twice so far, once in the yarn that you used, and once in a glittery 2-weight. My second is your SCENT OF A ROSE SHAWL. I have made it THREE TIMES thus far, once in a Lana Grossa Degrade yarn, once is Cascade 220 Merino, and once in Cascade 220 Superwash. (5.5 mm hook for drape.) I absolutely love it the stitch and it’s my favorite solid shawl of all time. There’s something about your shawls, I think it’s that they are so relaxing to make, and that the the stitch work is so logical, and that I can always count on the results to be beautiful. I love how you build our confidence in trying new stitches and patterns. Thank you Crystal for your excellent teaching skills.
My favorite shawl will always be Killer Queen. I just love it. I remember when you made it. I bought the yarn haven’t made it yet! But I do love all your shawls & wraps. I made your White crochet wrap but I made it in Truboo color mushroom. My daughter loves it! Thank you Crystal. God Bless. Take care. Love you. 🙏😇♥️
Pineapples for Everyone Shawl...is my favorite... I make mine much larger than what was pictured and I end the shawl on the row that gives the most curvy edge.... Amazingly beautiful and fun to make!
These are all very beautiful pieces! I adore the pocket shawl made with the discontinued yarn and the Ruby feathers shawl, but my absolute favorite is A kind of Magic 💕💕
You are absolutely amazing! Am 78 but wish I was 28 so I could learn & follow your teachings & tutorials! Looking forward to many more sessions. Also love your administrative assistant who always tells us what pattern is being used. Take care. Never posted before. JS

The Sweet Cherry Wine Shawl to date is my favourite. Living in the Tropics, I lean towards lightweight shawls. However I made "Its a Kind Magic" and love it for those cooler nights. Now I have seen more I want to make.

I love making shawls. Yesterday I started a virus shawl using a Mandala Bonus Bundle in the color Chewy. My favorite on this list and of all time is your post virus shawl. I started it and I had a lot of trouble with the yarn I chose, Shawl in a Ball, so I put it aside and will try again after this one I'm doing. Even the colors on your post virus shawl are my favorites, green and purple. I appreciate all the time you take to do tutorials, Crystal. ~Cynthia
