The Yamaha Blaster 200 is a well rounded quad that is popular with beginners and long-time riders alike. One downfall of the Blaster design was the throttle over ride system (TORS). The TORS system was designed as a safeguard that will cut spark in case of a throttle malfunction. Unfortunately, this system can be an issue and cause more problems than it solves. In this video, Charles shows how to install the Motion Pro Twist Throttle with TORS Eliminator Kit on a Yamaha Blaster 200.

Thanks I appreciate that and your welcome appreciate the content.
Thanks for the video as soon as i can im going to do this install 🫡
I just purchased the deletion kit from you. I have a 2002 blaster I’m bout to cut the wires but I have three wires coming out of mine instead of two like yours it’s a yellow wire with two black wires. It’s connected to I think the tors box
Do you know if the throttle housing wire being wired together at the plug would be the same on a 2003 Banshee
The guy i bough the blaster from deleted the tors kinda. It’s disconnected with the yellow and black wires looped etc but the tors is still on the carb and theres no carb adjustment screw…is that fine 🤷?
Installed the same kit according to this video and I am having an idling issue, I've tried adjusting the throttle cable and the new idle screw but no luck any tips??
Somehow I missed this comment. Did you find out what was going on? Dirty carb.? Was the ATV running good before installing the TORS delete kit? Idle screw hole not tapped out far enough? Let us know. -Charles
I bought the same kit but iam running into a issue where my throttle cable isnt long enough to meet both ends ? Any tips??
Did you match up the new throttle cable with the old one to make sure it's the correct length? And make sure the cable is routed correctly?
Ok I'll check that out. Thanks RMMCATV
Hey mate this might be a dumb question but how far do i drill? Is that hole originally a dead end and you drill til it breaks through or?
That is correct. Originally the hole is a dead end so you are drilling through that to the inside of the carburetor.
@@rmatvmc legend thanks for the reply, going to order a kit now 🤘🏻
@@rmatvmcSo the idle screw is only meant to move that carb slide 1/8” either way adding or reducing idle
I was surprised at how little the idle screw moves the slide if at all.
So little confused since you didn’t mention it in the video, can you tell us how many turnouts on the idle screw and how many turnouts on the air screw mines a 1989 open air lid with a piston size 66 mm 25 or .5 so little confused since you didn’t mention it in the video, can you tell us how many turnouts on the idle screw and how many turnouts on the air screw mines a 1989 open air lid with a piston size 66 .mm25 sea level jet is a 260 pilot is a 32.5 gold series exhaust FMF FMF core two silencer
What size tap?
The tap comes in the kit but it's an M6x0.75.
Don’t u just eliminate the tors cables I’m confused y did u connect 2 wires if u getting rid of tors?
On 2002 and newer models, you will need to loop the wires to still have spark. All you are doing is tricking the CDI into thinking TORS is still hooked up. ua-cam.com/video/AS7LLkuhHiM/v-deo.htmlsi=XvsdEqvvKHosa_Ls&t=511

There's a reason why they don't put twist throttles on four wheelers You're going to seriously hurt yourself by putting a twist throttle on there. Some people just don't know what they're doing
