  • Dr. Lester Leung, a Stroke Neurologist and Assistant Professor of Neurology at Tufts University Medical Center in Boston, MA, reviews his article appearing in the June 2022 issue of Mayo Clinic Proceedings where he found that a natural language processing algorithm designed to identify silent brain infarcts and white matter disease from neuroimaging reports can identify patients at risk. He noted advanced age was strongly associated with silent brain infarcts and white matter disease incidentally discovered in routine care. Available at: mayocl.in/3xO31uL
